Bio (English)
Rivercash formed back in 2009 with Cherry T and Shaun. Pleased with their song writing results, they
kept a lookout for other musicians to join the band. Auditions and jam sessions dominated several
months and the band experienced several reformations.
Despite a couple of changes in their crew, they didn’t let that bring them out of tune.
In 2012 Singer Nick and guitarist Pete joined the quest and Rivercash was ready to revitalize this generation with their own personal contribution to Rock n’ Roll. Influenced by a variety of genres and inspired especially by bands such as Led Zeppelin, Guns N’ Roses and Rival Sons, Rivercash have
written songs to add a new flavour to the big gumbo of Rock as we know it.
Despite the curse of 2012, Rivercash got a lot of work done under the pressure, just in time ! In March
this year they issued their first 5-Track EP “White Pearls”, available for your listening pleasure online,
and in July they aired their first music video to their song “Love Tax”.
With their participation at the Rock Highway Contest 2013 Rivercash proved to be on the right path.
With the help of their fans and with Mel on the bass, they made it to the Top Final and finished the
contest as 3. best Rock-Newcomer Band in Switzerland.

Rivercash wurde 2009 von Cherry T. und Shaun gegründet. Zufrieden mit ihren ersten SongKreationen machten sie sich auf die Suche nach weiteren Bandmitgliedern. Die nächsten Monate
waren geprägt von zahlreichen Jam-Sessions und Auditions und die Band erlebte mehrere Umformierungen. Doch das hat Rivercash nicht aus der Stimmung gebracht, im Gegenteil!
2012 stiessen Pete und Nick zu der Band und Rivercash war nun bereit um seine eigene Rock‘ n Roll
Geschichte zu schreiben. Beeinflusst von vielen Musikgenres, speziell von Bands wie Led Zeppelin,
Guns N‘ Roses oder Rival Sons, hat Rivercash Songs geschrieben, welche der Rockmusik unserer
Ära eine neuen Geschmack verleihen.
Trotz den vielen Veränderungen im 2012 hat Rivercash viel Arbeit hinter sich. Im März 2012 produzierte die Band ihre erste 5-Track EP „White Pearls“ und veröffentlichte im Juli ihr erstes Musik-Video
zu ihrem Song „Love Tax“.
Dass sie definitiv auf dem richtigen Weg sind, zeigte sich am Rock Highway Contest 2013. Mit der
Unterstützung ihrer Fans und mit ihrem neuen Bassisten Mel, haben sie sich bis ins Top-Final gespielt
und wurden zur 3. Besten Rock-Newcomer Band der Schweiz gewählt.
Die Zeit ist definitiv Reif für Rock!
