Graduating with honors from the prestigious B.I.T.
Musicians Institute in Los Angeles, Paul has quickly
established himself as one of the UK’s foremost
studio bassists and active session musicians.
In 1993 he was voted ‘Best New Musician’ by the
British Music Association - Paul still finds time
to encourage musical excellence in others through
his private teaching sessions.
He is the former Head of Bass at the Academy of
Contemporary Music and is currently lecturing live
performance workshops on the full and part time
courses. He is also a columnist contributor for
Guitartechniques Magazine. Paul is a music director
for a number of bands signed to Polydor, Sony
and Warner Music.

Nik Kershaw, The Lighthouse Family, Liberty X,
Chris Norman, Geri Halliwell, Dane Bowers,

Nachdem er die Abschlussprüfung an dem
prestigeträchtigen B.I.T. Musicians Institute
in Los Angeles, mit Auszeichnung bestanden hat,
schaffte es Paul Gery sehr schnell, sich als einer
der besten Studiobassisten un Sessionmusiker
in Großbritannien zu etabileren. Die British Music
Association wählte in 1993 zum Best New Musician.
Trotzdem findet Paul immer noch die Zeit
musikalisches Talent bei anderen Musikern zu
erkennen und zu fördern in dem er Privatstunden
gibt. Er ist außerdem der ehemalige Head of Bass
an der Academy of Contemporary Music und doziert
zur Zeit in Live Performance Workshops in Voll- und
Teilzeitkursen. Desweiteren fungiert er auch als
Kolumnist im Guitartechniques Magazine. Paul ist
auch Music Director für mehrere Bands die bei den
Plattenfirmen Polydor, Sony und Warner unter
Vertrag sind.
