December 2005. Still the last since 1920 applied gardens in the
fortress moat exist.

This was built in 1823-1826 from stones of St. Peter's Monastery and
originally stocked with bomb-proof earth. 1873 it was fitted with brick
hipped roof and an external staircase to the newly created upper floor.

Gun Caponier No. 2 illustrates the original appearance
of both Caponiers.

August 2010. The restoration of the bastion wall is completed. Finally,
the lower fortress round trip and the terrain are designed.

May 2006. View after complete renovation and approach to the
original cubic volume by replacing the ailing, lofty roof by a flat roof.

Bastion Gabriel
former city wall
April 2008. Beginning of the partial exposure of 1874 in the
course of leveling work spilled bastion walls.
Construction of the Bastion Gabriel between 1680 and 1695.
March 2009. In the earth hidden wall is still in good condition.
With the wall infront (now lower) the existing wall, built in former
city wall, was reinforced.

September 2010. Erfurt coat of arms on the
corner of the former city wall. In 2010 it was
restored and worked out.
November 2009. Restoration.
August 2010. The restoration of walls is completed. Similarly,
the adjacent site was designed with a staircase and barrier-free
pathway in of the castle moat.

Bastion Martin
April 2000. Restoration of Bastion Martin.
September 2010.
With the construction of the Bastions Martin, Kilian and Leonhard
(from 1665 to 1673) the fastening of the Petersberg city-side began.
Since the 1920s, a viewpoint is located on the Bastion Martin.
