Please note:
Optional objection proceedings for personal examination decisions that offer a
choice between lodging an objection and the direct filing of a lawsuit were introduced by the amendment for the law on the execution of the Verwaltungsgerichtsordnung (Administrative Court Procedures Code) of June 22, 2007 (GVBI,
p. 390).
Lodging an objection or filing a lawsuit in electronic form (e.g. via e-mail) is not
permitted.
By virtue of federal law since July 1, 2004, fee advances must always be paid for
proceedings at administrative courts. The obligation for the payment of an appropriate fee advance derives from Article 14, Paragraph 1 of the Kostengesetz (Courts
Fees Act).
