Inside dimension:
B = 1275 mm
W = 570 mm
H = 635 mm
(other sizes on request)
.
The VFLAF biohazard cabinets is featured by a front window which allows entrance of the air from outside,
vertical laminar flow air stream in CLASS 100 inside the working chamber and by the presence
of an absolute HEPA filter in exhaust. It is suitable to handle low biological risk pathogens (cat. 1 and 2), in
compliance with UNI EN 12469.

WORKING PRINCIPLE
The air flow, decontaminated by the main absolute HEPA filter (1) enters
the working area under class 100 laminar flow conditions, it mixes with
the air coming from the frontal opening (4) and then it passes through the
perforated work surface (3) .
1
The contaminated air is sucked out by the motorblower (2) to the
return plenum at the back which is therefore held under negative
pressure.
About 70% of the air, after absolute filtration, is convoyed into the
working area, while the remaining 30% is exhausted, after absolute
filtration (5).
The exhausted air is replenished by the same quantity of ambient air
entering through the front open window creating the necessary
containment curtain that gives the required protection to the operator
and isolates the working area.
