Biohazard Laminar flow hood VFLAF 4
Biohazard Laminar flow hood VFLAF 4 „vertical“, desk top The VFLAF 4 cabinet has been designed for the global protection of the operator, product and environment (Class II, type A2) Outside dimension: B = 1285 mm W = 795 mm H = 1400 mm Inside dimension: B = 1275 mm W = 570 mm H = 635 mm (other sizes on request) . The VFLAF biohazard cabinets is featured by a front window which allows entrance of the air from outside, vertical laminar flow air stream in CLASS 100 inside the working chamber and by the presence of an absolute HEPA filter in exhaust. It is suitable to handle low biological risk pathogens (cat. 1 and 2), in compliance with UNI EN 12469. Main Features - Outer construction: cold rolled steel, thickness 12/10, epoxy painted,RAL7035 - Working surface: perforated stainless-steel INOX AISI 304 made by removable and autoclavable panels with tray for liquid recovery. - Internal back panel: stainless-steel INOX AISI 304 with a 2B finish applied - Lateral panels: unbreakable polycarbonate windows to check the operations under the cabinet - Front window: temperated, unbreakable glass, thickness 6 mm., hinged to allow easy access to the working area when lifted - Air stream: downflow and exhaust air stream with automatic speed adjustment Optional: UV - light tritec ® Gesellschaft für Labortechnik und Umweltsimulation mbH Hüttenstraße 9 D-30165 Hannover Homepage www.tritec-klima.com E-mail [email protected] Phone ++49-511/3523508 Fax ++49-511/3521715 technische Änderungen vorbehalten Seite 1 von 2 Biohazard Laminar flow hood VFLAF 4 „vertical“, desk top WORKING PRINCIPLE The air flow, decontaminated by the main absolute HEPA filter (1) enters the working area under class 100 laminar flow conditions, it mixes with the air coming from the frontal opening (4) and then it passes through the perforated work surface (3) . 1 The contaminated air is sucked out by the motorblower (2) to the return plenum at the back which is therefore held under negative pressure. About 70% of the air, after absolute filtration, is convoyed into the working area, while the remaining 30% is exhausted, after absolute filtration (5). The exhausted air is replenished by the same quantity of ambient air entering through the front open window creating the necessary containment curtain that gives the required protection to the operator and isolates the working area. 2 5 3 4 sterile air recycled air CONTROL BOARD - Electronic board controlled by microprocessor. - ON/OFF general switch with key. - Soft-touch key board - Visual and acoustic alarm for: - frontal glass wrong position - filters clogging - fan malfunction - air flows mulfunction - elapsed filters and UV lamp - working time limit external air CABINET EQUIPMENT - 1 pcs. perforated stainless-steel work surface made by removable panels - 1 pcs. electrical motor-fan - 2 pcs. fluorescent lamps - 2 pcs.
