Das Einspritzsystem UPS besteht aus elektronisch
Einspritzpumpe für UPS
gesteuerten Einzelpumpen (UP) und Düsenhalter­
kombinationen, die seit vielen Jahren bewährt sind.
Das UPS erreicht bis zu 1 800 bar an der Düse bei
einer Pumpendrehzahl von maximal 525 min-1.
Funktionsprinzip
Jeder Motorzylinder wird mit einer Kraftstoffpumpe
(Unit Pump) ausgestattet. Der Pumpenkolben ist so
präzise in den Pumpenzylinder eingepasst, dass die
Dichtheit auch bei niedrigen Drehzahlen und sehr
hohem Druck gesichert ist.
Ein 2/2-Wegeventil realisiert den Funktionsumfang.
Das Ventil schließt gegen den Hochdruckkreislauf
mit dem Kraftstoffzu- oder -ablauf. Dies ermöglicht

The fuel injection system UPS contains electronically

Operating principle
Each engine cylinder is equipped with one fuel pump
(UP). The pump plunger is fitted into the pump
cylinder in such a way that sealing is guaranteed even
at low rotational speed and very high pressure.
The functionality is achieved by a 2/2 way valve.
