Verwendungszweck
Die Flachantenne BAS 600 dient zum Empfang von digitalen TV-,
Radio und anderen Satellitensignalen im Frequenzbereich von
10,70 bis 12,75 GHz. Terrestrische Signale können nicht empfangen werden.

Die BAS 600 ist für den mobilen Einsatz zum Satellitenempfang
auf dem stillstehenden Caravan, Wohnmobil, Lkw oder nicht
gewerblich genutzten Binnenschiff konzipiert. Die Befestigungskonstruktion der Antenne ist auf die Sat-Gelenkmaste HDM 140,
HDM 141 und HDM 143 abgestimmt, wobei die Ausrichtung der
Antenne mittels Kurbel- bzw. Mastdrehung aus dem Fahrzeuginneren heraus erfolgt. Alle drei Typen sind komplett mit bereits
eingezogenem Kabel und zwei Steckern.

UFS 946/CI+
Der HDTV-Receiver UFS 946/CI+ dient dem Empfang von digitalen Satelliten-TV- und -Radio-Programmen.
Hinweis zur StVZO (Straßenverkehrs-Zulassungs-Ordnung)
Bei Festinstallation der Flachantenne auf einem Kfz, das am öffentlichen Straßenverkehr teilnimmt, sind die geltenden Vorschriften
der StVZO zu beachten. Im Besonderen gilt dies für die §§ 19/2; 30 C; 32 (2) sowie die EG-Richtlinie 74/483 EWG. Zusammenfassend
besagen diese, dass ein Eintrag in die Fahrzeugpapiere nicht erforderlich ist, sofern die Antenne sich bei beladenem Fahrzeug
in einer Höhe von mehr als 2 m befindet und die Antenne nicht über die seitlichen, äußeren Fahrzeugumrisse herausragt. Dabei darf
die höchstzulässige Höhe von 4 m (Fahrzeug und Antenne) nicht überschritten werden.
Es besteht erhöhte Unfallgefahr, wenn die übliche Fahrzeughöhe durch eine nicht abgesenkte Antenne erhöht wird.
Für den Zustand der Auf- und Anbauten ist einzig und allein der Fahrzeugführer verantwortlich!

Falls nötig, richten Sie die Antenne neu aus. Stellen Sie die Elevation so ein, dass Sie einen blauen Haken erhalten (siehe Bild oben).
Den Azimut stellen Sie so ein, dass Sie ein Maximum an Signalstärke und -qualität erhalten. Beachten Sie bei der Einstellung die der
Antenne beiliegende Dokumentation. Mit der

Purpose of use
The planar antenna BAS 600 is used to receive digital TV, radio
and other satellite signals in the frequency range from 10.70 to
12.75 GHz. Terrestrial signals cannot be received.
BAS 600

integrated inclinometer)
The BAS 600 is designed for mobile use enabling one to receive
satellite signals on a parked caravan, motorhome, heavy-goods
vehicle or a non-commercially used inland water vessel. The
fixing structure of the antenna is harmonized for the Sat jointed
masts HDM 140, HDM 141 and HDM 143 as the alignment of
the antenna is carried out by rotating the mast or crank from the
inside of the vehicle. All three types are complete with an already
retracted cable and two plugs.
The HDTV receiver UFS 946/CI+ is designed for the reception of
digital satellite TV and radio programmes.

Notes regarding the German Road Traffic Act (StVZO)
The permanent installation of the flat antenna on a motorised vehicle licensed for road traffic also demands the observance of the Road
Traffic Act. This is especially valid for §§ 19/2; 30 C; 32 (2) as well as the EC directive 74/483 EWG. According to these documents,
the system does not need to be registered in the logbook as long as the antenna mounted on the vehicle is higher than 2 m and the
antenna does not protrude over the vehicle’s outer frame. The total height of the vehicle and antenna should not exceed a maximum of
4 m.
There is an increased risk of accident if the standard vehicle height is increased by an antenna that has not been
lowered. The vehicle driver is solely responsible for the fittings and superstructural parts!

parts are to be observed without fail!

The safety regulations specified in the country-specific laws and norms valid at the time are to be observed.

Any other use or failure to comply with these instructions or the technical documentation supplied with the units

Setting the elevation
Actual value = Current elevation of the planar antenna
Target value = Target elevation value of the planar antenna
Actual and target values match = blue tick (see image on the
right).
Actual and target values do not match = red
arrow (see small image).
If necessary, re-align the antenna. Set the elevation to a value at which the blue tick appears (see image above). Set the azimuth to a
value where you get maximum signal strength and quality. When performing, setting, please observe the documentation provided with
your antenna. Press the
 button to exit the menu. Your settings will be saved.
