To use the Doom 3 SAGE module you have to install the following Doom 3 Versions.
For MAC the newest Aspyr Doom 3 version:

For Windows (outside Germany) this version will work:
http://store.steampowered.com/app/9050/
Currently SAGE do not work e.g. with Doom 3 BFG and other versions.
Steam needs to be installed by default on Windows in the folder "C:\Programs (x86)\Steam" for
proper work with SAGE.
If Steam is placed in another folder add a new game library. Therefor please run Steam and go to
"Steam>Settings" and select the tab "Download" and click "Steam Library Folder". Now chose "Add
directory/folder" and create in the folder "C:\Programs (x86)" a new directory/folder "Steam". To
add a new library you need to quit all running Steam downloads.
Now go to "Game>Activate a product in Steam…" and enter the code you got after purchase Doom 3.
Select "C:\Programs (x86)\Steam" for installation and wait until the Doom 3 download is done.

WINDOWS & MAC
1. Please get the SAGE Installer from the New Audio Technology website. It’s located in the NAT
Trial installer: http://newaudiotechnology.com/en/products/trial-versions/
2. Unzip the installer
3. Execute the NAT installer

If you have installed the Spatial Sound Card application from New Audio Technology you have to quit
it before you can play Doom 3 SAGE. The reason for this (temporary) limitation is that both
applications use the same underlying driver for real-time audio processing.

Start the “Doom 3 SAGE Showcase” from the application folder instead of the normal Doom 3
application.
The SAGE module will only be activated if you start Doom 3 with OpenAL support enabled (default).
While SAGE is running you can use keyboard shortcuts to switch between standard stereo or 3D
audio. Without activating the OpenAL option the standard Doom 3 audio engine will be loaded.

The following functions can be activated by keyboard shortcuts:
N = Virtual 3D loudspeakers
M = Standard stereo
J = Show / Hide array scheme with source movement
K = Show / Hide virtual loudspeaker display
To remove SAGE from your computer please restart the the installer.

Um das Doom 3 SAGE Modul nutzen zu können, müssen folgende Doom 3 Versionen benutz werden.
Für MAC die neuste Aspyr Doom 3 Version:

Für Windows (Deutschland) muss diese Version verwendet werden:

Mit der Doom 3 BFG und anderen Version funktionieren SAGE derzeit nicht.
Damit SAGE die Installation von Doom 3 auf Windows erkennt, sollte Steam standartmäßig im Ordner
"C:\Programme (x86)\Steam" installiert sein.
Sollte Steam sich bei Ihnen in einem anderen Ordner befinden, fügen Sie eine neue SteamSpielebibliothek hinzu. Starten Sie dazu Steam und gehen Sie auf "Steam>Einstellungen". Wählen Sie
dort die Registerkarte "Downloads" und klicken Sie auf "Steam-Bibliotheksordner". Wählen Sie nun
"Verzeichnis hinzufügen" und erstellen Sie im Ordner "C:\Programme (x86)" ein neues Verzeichnis
mit dem Namen "Steam". Damit die Erstellung einer neuen Bibliothek funktioniert, müssen Sie
vorher alle Downloads von Steam beenden.
Nun gehen Sie auf "Spiele>Ein Produkt bei Steam aktivieren..." und geben den Code ein, den Sie nach
dem Kauf von Doom 3 bekommen haben.
Wählen Sie als Ort für die Installation "C:\Programme (x86)\Steam" und warten Sie, bis Doom 3
heruntergeladen und installiert ist.

1. Der SAGE Installer ist im NAT Trial Installer auf der New Audio Technology Website enthalten:

2. Bitte entzippen Sie den Installer
3. Führen Sie den NAT-Installer aus

Wenn Sie ein Spatial Sound Card App von New Audio Technology Installiert haben, müssen Sie diese
ggf. beenden bevor Sie Doom 3 spielen können. Grund für die temporäre Limitierung ist, dass beide
Programme den gleichen Echtzeit-Audiotreiber verwendet.

Starten Sie die “Doom 3 SAGE Showcase”-Version aus dem Programmordner anstatt der normalen
Doom 3-Anwendung.
Das SAGE-Modul ist nur aktiviert, wenn beim Start die OpenAL Option aktiviert ist (default). Ist das
SAGE-Modul aktiv, kann per Tastatur-Shortcut zwischen Stereo und 3D-Audio umgeschaltet werden.
Ohne Aktivierung der OpenAL-Option wird die reguläre Audio-Engine von Doom 3 geladen.

Folgenden Funktionen können mit Tastaturbefehlen aktiviert werden:
N = Virtuelle 3D Lautsprecher
M = Standard Stereo
J = Ein-/ Ausblenden des Arrayschemas mit Quellenbewegung
K = Ein-/ Ausblenden der virtuellen Lautsprecheranzeige
Wenn Sie den Installers erneut starten, haben Sie die Möglichkeit SAGE wieder von Ihrem System zu
entfernen.
