zu tun haben
Nach dem erfolgreichen Launch der weltweit ersten semiakustischen Gitarre aus reinem
Hanfzellstoff, der anmutigen und wohlklingenden „MADA caimes“ (www.madaguitars.com)
entworfen und entwickelt von Designer Adam Wehsely-Swiczinsky und gebaut von Gitarrenbauer

MusicExpo Wien
Während Profis und Amateure bei der ersten Musikmesse in Wien, der MusicExpo (Wiener
Stadthalle vom 7. – 9. September), unter anderem eine der brandneuen MADAs testen können,
wird ein weiteres Exemplar dieser Gitarreninnovation von einem absoluten Star des Rockbusiness
live gespielt.

Bei der „Ambassadors of Rock Tour” im Hard Rock Cafe New York in Times Square wird Willie
Nelson selbst eine “MADA caimes” spielen. Am 10. September steigt dieser große Benefiz Event
zu Gunsten der SBA (Sustainable Biodiesel Alliance) mit PatInnen wie Woody Harrelson und
Daryl Hannah. Die österreichische Hanf-Gitarre wurde eigens dafür angefordert und eingeflogen.

MADA goes Hollywood
Ebenfalls in den USA weilt eine weitere MADA: Am Filmset der neuesten Disney-Komödie „Old
Dogs“ von Regisseur Walt Becker mit John Travolta und Robin Williams in den Hauptrollen ist
sie dabei, Filmstart 2008.
Im Frühjahr 2007 wurde sie bei der größten nordamerikanischen Design-Messe in New York
entdeckt und als ein „Co – Star“ des Films verpflichtet. Hoffentlich kann John Travolta nicht
nur gut tanzen...
Nominierungen für Staatspreis und Zukunftspreis 2007
Er ist der wichtigste österreichische Designpreis schlechthin, der Adolf Loos Staatspreis für
Design. „MADA caimes“ ist hier in der Kategorie Konsumgüter nominiert. Für die Verleihung
am 3. Oktober in Wien, werden ihr große Chancen eingeräumt.
Auch für den Zukunftspreis der Stadt Wien 2007 ist die semiakustische Hanfgitarre nominiert
– hier in der Kategorie „Kreative Anwendungen“. Der Preis identifiziert die innovativsten und
kreativsten Projekte der Bundeshauptstadt.

Pass it over: Pure hemp guitar „Mada caimes“
What Willie Nelson, John Travolta, the Austrian National Price for Design and the Viennese
Future Award have in common.
After the successfull launch of the first semiacoustic guitar made of pure hemp-cellulose,
namely the sexy, euphonic “MADA caimes” (www.madaguitars.com) invented and developed
by designer Adam Wehsely-Swiczinsky and built by guitarmaker Andi Neubauer, there are more
highlights coming up - a chronology.
First MusicExpo Vienna
While pros and amateurs can test one of the brandnew MADA guitars at the MusicExpo in
Vienna (Stadthalle Vienna, September 7. – 9.) another piece is played live by a superstar of
rockbusiness.

Willie Nelson himself is going to play a “MADA caimes” at the „Ambassadors of Rock Tour” at
the Hard Rock Cafe New York at Times Square. This tribute concert for the SBA (Sustainable
Biodiesel Alliance) at September 10th is hosted by the award-winning actors Woody Harrelson
and Daryl Hannah. The Austrian guitar was especially aquired and delivered fort his event.

MADA goes Hollywood
Not only rock superstars like MADA: At the set of the latest Disney comedy „Old Dogs“ by
director Walt Becker, staring John Travolta and Robin Williams the brandnew hemp guitar plays
a sounding role. The movie starts in 2008.
This spring the guitar was spotted at the biggest North American Design fair in New York and
hired as co-star for the film. Let´s hope John Travolta is not only a good dancer……..
Nominee for Austrian National Award and for Future award 2007
The Adolf Loos National Design Award is the most important Austrian design price. “MADA
caimes” is nominee for the category consumer-goods. The prospects are good for the award
show on October 3rd.
The semi-acoustic hemp guitar is also nominated for the Future Award 2007 by the City of
Vienna, category “creative applications”. The award identifies the most innovative and creative
project of the Austrian capitol.
