The Internet service DrumsbyRequest (www.drumsbyrequest.com) brings you customized drumtracks to order.
The idea of the site is as simple as it’s effective: customers just have to upload the songs they want drumtracks for to
the server of the site. The DrumsbyRequest team then directly plays the drumtracks over the songs and makes
the single drumtracks available for exclusive download within a week’s time.
Sound examples, example tracks and descriptions can also be uploaded, enabling the team to really fulfill the customers’ wishes concerning the style and sound of the drums. In advance to the bill customers receive a 30 second
demo, offering them the opportnity to propose changes.
The final payment takes place by credit card, Paypal or money order. As the drums come as single instrument tracks

In your account you can specify how you want your track to be played. The DrumsByRequest team will then play
according to your selected style. DrumsByRequest offers the following services:
The standard drum set is a ‚Yamaha Maple Custom Absolute‘ with a 24“ bass drum and the usual tom sizes of 10“,
12“, 14“, 16“ and 18“. The sizes will be chosen in keeping with the customer’s selected style. If desired, 4 toms can
also be recorded. Our selection of snare drums includes a large range of high-endstudio snares (including various Yamaha, Ludwig-Supraphonic, Acrylite, BlackBeauty, Noble&Cooley and some vintage Snares). Our cymbals include a
big selection of state-of-the-art series from the company Meinl.
For fans of a retro style, DrumsByRequest can offer drum-sets, snares and cymbals from legendary brands from the
50s, 60s and 70s.
For drum and percussion overdubs we can offer bongos, congas, shakers, tambourines, cymbals among others. We
can also offer e-drums like the Yamaha DTXtreme III S, Roland SPDS or the Roland Handsonic HPD15 Percussion
Pad.
High quality microphones are essential for a good recording! We only record using top microphones, which meet the
international standards for drum recordings. These include, for example, AKG414, Neumann U-87, Sennheiser 421,
Shure SM 57, Shure Beta52 A, Shure SM 91, and Yamaha Sub Kick among others.
The tracks come in 24bit Mono Wav or Aiff. If requested, the Logic or Cubase file can also be sent to you. At an extra
cost, DrumsByRequest can additionally edit your drum track using SSL-Equipment.
