OPEN JACKPOT - $35 entry, $25 to Jackpot $100 add purse. No other prizes.
Open to anyone. Same horse cannot be ridden in Amateur Jackpot for placing.
Advanced Course.
AMATEUR JACKPOT - $25 entry, $15 to Jackpot No other prizes.
Rider must not have ever received payment for training, lessons, of any kind, for horses or riders.
Rider not to have placed in the top 3 of any amateur trail challenge 3 times. Rider not to have won 3
first places in any trail challenge. Same horse cannot be ridden in Open Jackpot for placing.
Advanced Course.
NOVICE RIDER/HORSE – $20 entry, $10 to Jackpot. No other prizes.
Rider or Horse must have only competed in any trail challenge/event 5 times or less, not to have
placed in top 3 of any Novice division trail challenge 3 times. Horse may be shown only one time on
Novice course. Rider may enter on more than one horse. While Novice Rider/Horse may cross enter
with either Open or Amateur Jackpot, it is not recommended due to the advanced nature advanced
obstacles.
Novice Course.
Youth 12 and Under - $10. entry Prizes awarded. Age as of January 1, 2011
Horse may be shown only one time in Novice/Youth.. If a family has access to only one horse and
wishes to enter this horse more than one time, only the first time the same horse competes on any
course will horse be eligible for placing. Subsequent goes will be for participation only.
Novice Course.
SPEED COURSE JACKPOT: 50/50 Jackpot. $20.00 entry. Winner 50/Club 50. Open to anyone. This
is a timed/judged event. Combination of obstacles from Advanced and Novice course. Obstacles may be
modified to accommodate speed. Rider must complete obstacle to avoid time penalty. Horse/Rider may
have been shown in previous class or classes, but can compete in this class one time only.
Organizers reserve the right to update rules up to start of competition.
Trail Challenge committee reserves the right to move a contestant to a higher class if committee
feels that contestant is Sandbagging.
