Main Power Switch
Notice
Thank you for purchasing a Canon product.
Please read the following information regarding the machine’s specifications.
After reading this notice, store it with the manuals that come with the machine for
future reference.
The appearance of the main power switch has been changed as illustrated below.
Please note that the appearance of the main power switch illustrated in the manuals
that come with the machine is different from the actual one.
Auto Shutdown Time
A new setting, <Auto Shutdown Time>, has been added. By enabling this setting, you
can set the machine to automatically shut down. The machine automatically turns OFF
the main power switch after the specified period of idle time has elapsed since
entering the Sleep mode.
The default setting is <4 Hours>.

I f the optional Super G3 FAX Board is attached to the machine, set <Auto Shutdown
Time> to <0> (Off ).
NOTE
· If <0> is selected, the Auto Shutdown mode is not enabled.
· If there is a send job, the Auto Shutdown Time setting is invalid even when the
machine is in the Sleep mode.
· If the machine is operated from the Remote UI (including the Import/Export
function) while the machine is in the Sleep mode, the timer for the Auto Shutdown
Time setting is reset and the timing of the shutdown will be delayed.
1. Press
(Main Menu).
2. P
ress the right Any key to select <Additional Func.>.
3. U
se [▼], [▲] or (Scroll Wheel) to select <Timer Settings>, then
press [OK].
4. U
se [▼], [▲] or (Scroll Wheel) to select <Auto Shutdown Time>,
then press [OK].
5. U
se [▼], [▲] or (Scroll Wheel) to set the desired time period, then
press [OK].
– You can set the time period from 0 (Off ) to 8 hours (in one-hour
increments).
– You can also set the time period using – (numeric keys).
6. P
ress
(Main Menu) to return to the Main Menu screen.

REMARQUE
· Si vous sélectionnez <0>, le mode Fermeture automatique n’est pas activé.
· En cas de présence d’un travail d’envoi, le réglage Délai de fermeture automatique
n’est pas valide, même si l’appareil est en mode Veille.
· Si, pendant le mode Veille, vous commandez l’appareil via l’interface utilisateur
distante (y compris la fonction Importation/Exportation), la valeur du réglage Délai
de fermeture automatique est réinitialisée, ce qui a pour effet de différer l’arrêt
automatique.

È stata aggiunta una nuova impostazione, <Intervallo arresto automatico>. Abilitando
questa impostazione, è possibile impostare l’arresto automatico della macchina. La
