Die heute ab Werk in Fahrzeugen installierten
Car Audio Systeme sind in den meisten Fällen
nicht für audiophilen und anspruchsvollen
Hörgenuß ausgelegt. Der einfache Ausstausch
der Werkslautsprecher mit hochwertigen
Nachrüst-Lautsprechern bringt schon eine
Verbesserung des Klangs mit sich, doch sind
aufgrund der werksseitig bestehenden Einbauöffnungen der akustischen Leistungsentfaltung Grenzen gesetzt und so stellen diese
Installationen meist nur einen Kompromiss
dar. In der Vergangenheit war immer eine
aufwendige und kostspielige Neupositionierung der Einbauöffnungen notwendig, um
ein optimales Abstrahlverhalten und Bühnenbild der Lautsprecher zu erhalten. Mit Einführung der neuartigen Hochtöner-Generation
von MB QUART, basierend auf der fortschrittlichen WideShpere Technologie, sind diese
Zeiten vorbei.
Das Herzstück der Systeme ist die HochtönerTechnologie der Premium-, Reference und
Discus-Line mit invertierten Titan-Kalotten
und Hochleistungs-Neodymringmagneten.
Ein breiter Abstrahlwinkel, eine sehr tiefe
Resonanzfrequenz, sowie eine hohe Belastbarkeit gepaart mit hervorragender Linearität
sind das Resultat intensiver Forschung, Computersimulationen und jahrzehntelanger Erfahrung mit ultraleichtem Titan als Ausgangsmaterial für die Hochtonkalotten. Der Einsatz
neuer Materialien, die Durchführung aufwendiger Versuchsreihen und die akribische Abstimmung ermöglichen einen exakt definierbaren Übergang zwischen Kalotte und Sicke
innerhalb engster Toleranzen. Das Ergebnis
ist eine sehr gute Räumlichkeit, hohe Präzision
und Belastbarkeit für eine außergewöhnlich
gute Musikwiedergabe, gerade außerhalb der
direkten Hörachse.

Today’s factory installed car audio systems
are littered with poor speaker placement in a
highly reflective environment that is not conducive to high performance audio listening.
Replacing these speakers with high quality
aftermarket units can provide better tonal
quality but proper staging and imaging is still
compromised due to these poor speaker installations. In the past, an elaborate and costly
custom installation would be required to place
the speakers in the proper location for optimum staging and imaging. With the introduction of MB QUART’s Tweeter Generation,
based on the advanced WideSphereTechnology, those days are gone!
The heart of the systems is the tweeter technology now available throughout our Premium, Reference and Discus Series with its inverted titanium dome and high performance
neodymium ring magnet. A wide radiation
angle, a very low resonance frequency and
high power handling combined with a great
linearity are the result of intensive research,
computer simulations and decade-long experience with ultra light titanium as source
material for tweeter domes. The use of new
materials coupled with exhaustive engineering and tuning time leads to a specially defined connection of cap and surround calculated to the closest tolerances and a result far
ahead of our competition. The spaciousness,
precision and power handling all contribute
to the new tweeter’s superb tonal balance in
both on-axis and off-axis installations.

Die Premium-Line von MB QUART steht für exzellentes Klangund Qualitätsversprechen, weit über das “Normale” hinaus.
Die neuen Komponentenlautsprecher-Systeme der PVI-Serie
beinhalten den auf Basis der innovativen WideSphereTechnologie von MB QUART entwickelten Hochtöner PTI 40,
welcher mit einer invertierten Titan-Hochtonkalotte für ein
sehr gutes Resonanz- und Abstrahlverhalten sorgt. Bei der
PVI-Serie werden Lautsprecherkörbe aus carbonfaserverstärktem Kunststoff mit 1” (25 mm) Flachdrahtschwingspulen
verwendet. Eine spezielle, silberlackierte Metallabdeckung
sorgt für optimalen Schutz und effektive Kühlung des Magnetsystems. Die Premium-Performance-Frequenzweiche ist
mit ausgesuchten Bauteilen bestückt, und verfügt über einen
innovativen Drehschalter zur Anpassung des Hochtonpegels.
In Verbindung mit der raffinierten hochflexiblen FleXX MountBefestigungstechnik, sowie der Bi-Amping/-WiringAnschlussmöglichkeit, bietet die Frequenzweiche Funktionen,
die weit über das Klassenübliche hinausgehen.

The Premium-Line from MB QUART stands for excellent sound
quality and the promise of performance well above and beyond
the ordinary. The new component loudspeakers from the PVI
series use the tweeter PTI 40. Developed on the basis of the
innovative WideSphere-Technology with its inverted titanium
dome, it provides very good resonance and radiation characteristics. The PVI series uses loudspeaker baskets of carbon
fibre-reinforced plastic composite with edge-wound 1” (25
mm) voice coils and special silver-painted metal covers for
optimum protection and effective cooling of the magnet
system. The new Premium Performance Flexmount crossover
uses choice components and the innovative rotary tweeterlevel attenuator. Together with the high-flexibility Premium
crossover installation technique and Bi-Wiring/-Amping connection capability, the crossover offers function well in excess
of those normally associated with car audio component systems.

Wenn MB QUART einen Premium Subwoofer entwickelt,
müssen sich alle Attribute, die die Produkt-Linie auszeichnen,
wiederfinden: Ein hohes klangliches Niveau, exzellente Verarbeitungsqualität, hochwertige Materialien, durchdachte
Detaillösungen und natürlich höchster Schalldruck. Die
Membran mit versteifender Wabenstruktur und eine außergewöhnlich hohe Gummisicke sorgen für eine lineare Auslenkung auch unter extremen Bedingungen bei höchster Lautstärke. Die 76 mm Schwingspule ist mit einem exklusiv
entwickelten Hilfsträger aus Kunststoffspritzguss verbunden,
der die Schwingkraft gleichmäßig über die gesamte Membranfläche verteilt. Gegenüber herkömmlichen großen Subwoofern trägt dies zu einer wesentlich reduzierten Verzerrung
unter Extremlasten bei. Mit den neuartigen Anschlussterminals
wird die Verkabelung des Subwoofers wesentlich vereinfacht.
Alle Anschlüsse befinden sich zusammengefasst auf nur einer
Seite des Chassis und ein serieller bzw. paralleler Anschluss
wird über Jumper ermöglicht. Ein lackierbarer Ring deckt die
Montageschrauben auf der Oberseite des PWH ab und sorgt
somit für ein sauberes Finsh. Der PWH Subwoofer ist der
Hochleistungssubwoofer von MB QUART, der klanglich Maßstäbe setzt und mit abgrundtiefem Bass aus kleinen, geschlossenen oder ventilierten Gehäusen die Erde beben lässt.
When MB QUART decided to design a premium subwoofer,
they knew that it had to meet the high expectations of the
MB QUART customer. It has to demonstrate all of the attributes
that distinguish MB QUART from their competitors including
sound quality, high output, unique design and reliability. One
look at the new PWH subwoofer of MB QUART’s PremiumLine and all characteristics are clearly evident. The honeycomb
cone and high roll surround provide the strength and excursion
necessary for proper low frequency performance. The 3” voice
coil is mated to a custom molded cone support that spreads
all of the pistons energy effectively across the entire cone
body. This improves sound quality by reducing cone distortion
common in larger subwoofers. Connecting your woofer is also
a breeze with the new series/parallel wiring terminal. All
connections are mounted on one end of the woofer and simple
jumpers allow for series and parallel wiring without complication. A paintable plastic screw concealing ring provides the
final cosmetic touch to an already incredible looking woofer.
These woofers offer excellent flexibility with high levels of
performance available in both small sealed and ported enclosures. When combined with a new Premium mono amplifier,
you can expect nothing but the best!

Mit der komplett neu konzipierten Discus-Serie verbindet
MB Quart ausgezeichnete Klangeigenschaften mit einem
hervorragenden Preis/Leistungsverhältnis. Die genau aufeinander abgestimmten Komponenten bestechen mit glasklarem
Hochton- und ausgewogenen Mitten/Bass-Bereich, der den
Vergleich mit wesentlich teuereren System nicht zu scheuen
braucht und für ein facettenreiches Frontstaging-Klangerlebnis
sorgen. Die Komponenten-Systeme DSH 216 und 213 sind
wie die Premium- und Reference Systeme ebenfalls mit den
hochklassigen auf WideSphere-Technology basierenden Hochtönern bestückt, welche vielfältige und variable Installationmöglichkeiten im Armaturenbrett oder Türpanelen bieten.
Dank der dreistufigen Hochtonpegel-Anpassung in der Frequenzweiche können diese optimal der Fahrzeugakustik
angepasst werden.

With the completely new designed Discus-Series MB Quart
joined outstanding sound characteristics with an excellent
price-performance ratio. The accurately on each other tuned
components pleasing with crystal clear highs and a balanced
mid/bass range, which need not to dread a comparison with
higher-valued systems and ensure a faceted frontstaging
sound experience. The component systems DSH216 and
DSH213 are like the Premium- and Reference-Systems
equipped with the high-class Tweeters based on WideSphereTechnology, which allow variable and multiple installation
methods in the dashboard or doorpanel area. Due to the threelevel tweeter attenuation of the crossover, the tweeters can
be matched perfectly with the vehicle's sound characteristics.

beinhalten die in allen gängigen Korbgrößen erhältlichen
Lautsprecher nur selektierte hochwertige Komponenten und
Materialien, inklusive dem neuen RTI30 Titan Hochtöner
basierend auf WideSphere-Technology für fein zeichnende
Höhen. Die Woofer sind mit einem neuartigen glasfaserverstärkten Kunststoffchassis in Leichtbauweise sowie einer
extra-steiffen Polypropylen-Membran aufgebaut und runden
mit ihrem ausgewogenen Mitten-/Bassspektrum das Klangbild
perfekt ab. Dank der abnehmbaren Magnet-Protektoren auf
der Rückseite, sind die Lautsprecher überall gut zu verbauen.
The Coax- and Triax-Models of the Discus-Series offering a

Die DWI Tieftöner sind sehr effizient und wurden speziell für
eine exakte Bass-Wiedergabe in kleinen Gehäusen entwickelt.
Durch eine erhöhte Zentrierung wird die enstehende Hitze
besser abgeleitet und eine breite Gummisicke sorgt für eine
kontrollierte Auslenkung. Ebenfalls beinhaltet ist eine
lackierbare Blende, die nach dem Einbau aufgesetzt wird, um
die Befestigungsschrauben zu verdecken.

subwoofers are very efficient and designed for accurate bass
reproduction in moderately small enclosures. The DWI series
subwoofers have a raised spider landing for advanced heat
dissipation, a high roll rubber surround for increased excursion
and control, and a paintable snap on ring designed to
