For this pool border there is a range of so called “traditional” fittings that generally need a duly shaped
concreting because they usually feature different thicknesses.
In this case the generally cheaper price of ceramic elements is balanced by higher costs for the preparation of
shaped concrete, application of waterproofing and installation of fittings.
Per la realizzazione di questo tipo di finitura sono disponibili una serie di pezzi speciali “tradizionali” che
comportano una preparazione del sottofondo cementizio adeguatamente sagomato per alloggiare pezzi
speciali, spesso caratterizzati da spessori non uniformi.
The Finish pool border is the most popular overflow system as it offers many practical and aesthetical
advantages that range from a better quality of pool water to more elegance of the pool.
Il bordo vasca Finlandese è il più diffuso ed utilizzato in quanto offre diversi vantaggi sia tecnici che estetici
che vanno da una miglior qualità dell’acqua ad una maggior eleganza della vasca.
In questo caso il minor costo dei pezzi utilizzati deve però tener conto di maggiori oneri per la preparazione
del supporto in cemento, della sua impermeabilizzazione e della posa.
Più semplice e rapida è invece la soluzione che si può realizzare con gli esclusivi pezzi speciali Trim-Box dove
tutti i pezzi del sistema hanno lo stesso spessore e una perfetta modularità. Questo permette di avere una
sagoma del c.a. più lineare facilitandone la realizzazione ed anche le successive lavorazioni.
Tutti gli elementi del sistema Trim-Box sono disponibili anche nella versione con il supporto griglia in
ceramica incorporato, questa variante fa sì che la griglia sia alloggiata in una sede più sicura ed igienica.

SYSTEME FINLANDAIS
La tête de bassin finlandaise est la plus connue et utilisée car elle offre une importante série d’avantages
pratiques et esthétiques qui vont d’une meilleure qualité de l’eau à une majeure élégance du bassin.
Pour la réalisation de ce type de tête de bassin est disponible une série des pièces spéciales traditionnelles
qui peuvent entraîner, a cause des divers épaisseurs des pièces, des coûts majorés de préparation du béton,
de l’étanchéité et de la pose.
Beaucoup plus simples sont par contre les solutions possibles avec les pièces Trim-Box ou toutes les pièces du
système ont le même épaisseur et une parfaite modularité. Ca permet de réaliser une structure du béton plus
linéaire et d’exécuter l’étanchéité et la pose d’une façon plus facile et rapide.
Toutes les pièces de part et d’autre du caniveau incorporent le support de grille qui permet de créer un talon
porte grille en céramique à garantie de l’hygiène et de la pérennité de l’ouvrage.

structure which has no cavities and/or protrusions.
All Trim-Box fittings dedicated to the Finnish system are available with and without an incorporated ceramic
support for the grating. This provides a “bed” for the grating which runs along the pool border and grants both
hygiene and easy cleaning.

Der finnische Beckenkopf ist der meist verbreitete und gebrauchte Rand da er eine ganze wichtige Reihe an
praktischen und ästhetischen Vorteilen bietet die von einer besseren Wasserqualität bis hin zu einer gehobenen
Eleganz des Beckens reichen.
Zur Herstellung eines finnischen Beckenkopfes steht eine Auswahl an sogenannten “traditionellen” Formteile
zur Verfügung die jedoch eine Vorbereitung des Zementgrundes notwendig machen der entsprechend geformt
sein muss um diese Formstücke einzulassen die aber oft durch unregelmäßige Dicken gekennzeichnet sind.
In diesem Fall bedingen die geringeren Kosten der eingesetzten Stücke höhere Kosten bei der Vorbereitung der
Zementunterlage, seiner Abdichtung und das Legen der Fliesen selber.

SISTEMA WIESBADEN A PAVIMENTO
Il bordo vasca Wiesbaden a pavimento viene utilizzato in genere quando, per esigenze di spazio, si ha la
necessità di contenere la larghezza complessiva del bordo vasca.
Questo tipo di soluzione ha però un limite nella portata d’acqua perché il pezzo speciale ceramico è
solitamente una canaletta di misure contenute, la cui portata può essere elevata soltanto aumentando il
numero degli scarichi.
Casalgrande Padana – Swimming Pool offre due possibili soluzioni: la prima è rappresentata dalla
tradizionale canaletta monolitica in ceramica realizzata nella dimensione media (art. 6600), la seconda
(sistema Trim-Box) offre invece la possibilità di dimensionare la canaletta a piacere in relazione alle effettive
necessità. Con l’utilizzo dell’elemento in cemento Betonbuild è possibile infatti creare il supporto per il bordo
sfioratore (art. 6550 Trim-Box) e la parete di caduta dell’acqua con la pendenza antiscroscio, lasciando
completamente indipendente la restante parte della canaletta.
In questo modo la canaletta può avere qualsiasi larghezza ed essere rivestita utilizzando comuni piastrelle,
anche in cromie diverse rispetto al bordo sfioratore. E’ chiaro quindi che l’utilizzo di questo elemento faciliterà
la connessione degli scarichi perché occorrerà posizionare e/o tagliare solo normali piastrelle.

SYSTEME WIESBADEN SURFLOT
Le système Wiesbaden surflot est utilisé en principe dans les bassin ou il est nécessaire avoir une largeur de
la tête de bassin réduite.
Compte tenu de la tendance a récupérer l’eau de bassin complètement par surverse, ce type de tête de bassin
a son limite dans la porté d’eau car la goulotte monobloc a des dimensions assez petites et comporte donc la
réalisation de plusieurs écoulements.
Pour cette raison on a conçu deux solutions ou la première est représentée de la traditionnelle goulotte
monobloc en céramique réalisée dans la mesure moyenne (réf. 6600) et la deuxième offre la possibilité de créer
un caniveau indépendant avec les dimensions nécessaires à la quantité d’eau a traiter.
Sans altérer la simplicité de la forme du béton de ce type de tête de bassin, avec l’application du nouveau
élément en béton appelée Betonbuild, on peut créer le support pour la pièce de bordure (réf. 6550 Trim-Box) et
la paroi avec un pan coupé pour réduire le bruit de l’eau.
De cette façon on laisse complètement indépendant le caniveau qui peut avoir n’importe quelle largeur et être
habillé avec des carreaux normaux qui permettent une très facile installation des évacuations.

WIESBADEN SYSTEM - HIGH LEVEL
The system Wiesbaden high level is generally used whenever there is the need to limit the space occupied by
the pool border.
Taking into consideration the present trend to completely recover pool’s water by overflow, this system find its
limit in the quantity of water it can recover.
In fact, the fitting generally used for this type of pool border is a monolithic ceramic scum channel featuring
small/medium sizes and its water capacity can only be increased by increasing the number of water outlets.
For this reason Casalgrande Padana – Swimming Pool offers two possible solutions where the first one is
represented by the traditional monolithic scum channel made with the intermediate size (item 6600) and the
second one offers the possibility to practically create any desired size.
Without altering the simple shape of concrete featured by Wiesbaden high level system, with the help of the
new cementitius element Betonbuild it is possible to create the support for the overflow Trim-Box fitting (item
6550) and the anti-noise sloping side of the channel leaving completely independent the remaining part of
the channel.
The channel can then have any width and be tiled using normal tiles thus making easier the connections with
water outlets which can also have larger diameters.

SYSTEM WIESBADEN HOCHLIEGEND
Der Beckenkopf namens Wiesbaden hochliegend, wird normalerweise dann eingesetzt wo es notwendig ist die
Gesamtbreite des Beckenrandes wegen Platzmangel einzuhalten.
Diese Lösung bietet jedoch bei der heutigen Vorgehensweise die eine Verarbeitung des Oberflächenwassers
vorsieht, eine geringe Wassermengenabfuhr da das angewandte Keramik Teil normalerweise aus einem relativ
kleinen Kanal besteht und dessen Tragvermögen nur durch eine Vermehrung der Abflüsse erhöht werden kann.
Aus diesem Grunde sind zwei Lösungen entworfen worden, wobei die Erste aus dem traditionellen einteiligen
Keramik-Rinne besteht in einer mittelgroßen Ausführung (Art. 6600), während mit der zweiten Lösung eine
Rinne angeboten wird der so groß wie gewünscht sein kann um den persönlichen Anforderungen entgegen zu
kommen.
Ohne die Linienklarheit der Umrisse des Stahlbetonwerkes zu verändern die zum Bau eines solchen Beckenkopfes
notwendig ist, ist es nämlich möglich dank des Betonbuild, ein neues Betonelement, das Tragelement für
den Überlaufrand zu errichten (Art. 6550 Trim-Box). Ebenfalls kann die Wand für die Wasserabfuhr mit der
notwendigen Neigung um ein unnötiges Rauschen des Wassers zu verhindern unter Freilassen des restlichen
Teils der Rinne erstellt werden.
Diese Rinne kann demzufolge beliebig breit sein, kann mit normalen Fliesen überzogen werden, die auch
andersfarbig als der Überlaufbeckenrand sein können. Somit wird der Anschluss des Ablaufsystems wesentlich
vereinfacht da nun lediglich normale Fliesen gelegt und/oder geschnitten werden müssen.
Alle Teile des Trim-Box Systems stehen auch mit einem eingebauten Gitterhalterungssockel zur Verfügung der
für eine bessere Sicherheit und Hygiene sorgt.

SISTEMA ZURIGO
Il sistema Zurigo è concettualmente simile al sistema Wiesbaden a pavimento, dal quale si differenzia
unicamente per la maggior distanza della canaletta di recupero dell’acqua dal bordo sfioratore.
Per questo bordo Casalgrande Padana – Swimming Pool propone il sistema Trim-Box, dove un elemento
arrotondato con superficie rigata serve allo stesso tempo da aggrappo e da bordo sfioratore (art. 6050).
Per il raccordo con la canaletta è poi possibile utilizzare piastrelle normali con grado antiscivolo di gruppo
C a piedi nudi, pezzi speciali tradizionali oppure altri pezzi del sistema Trim-Box che incorporano anche il
supporto griglia.

ZURICH SYSTEM
The Zurich’s system is quite similar to the Wiesbaden high-level system and the only difference lies in the
distance between the channel and the edging fitting.
For this pool border it is available a rounded Trim-Box fitting with ribbed surface which acts at same time as
finger-grip and overflow (item 6050).
For the connection with scum channel it is then possible to use normal tiles with bare feet non-slip value of
group C, traditional fittings or Trim-Box fittings that incorporate the necessary support for the grating.

SYSTEME ZURICHOIS
La conception de la tête de bassin zurichoise est similaire à celle du système Wiesbaden surflot et la seule
différence concerne la distance du caniveau de récupération d’eau par rapport à la pièce de bordure.
Pour réaliser cette tête de bassin on dispose d’une pièce du système Trim-Box de forme arrondie avec surface
striée qui agit comme accroche doigts et pièce de bordure (réf. 6050).
Pour se raccorder au caniveau et pour supporter las grille on peut utiliser carreaux normaux de group C pieds
nus, des pièces spéciales traditionnelles ou bien des pièces du système Trim-Box qui incorporent le support
de grille.

Das Zürich Beckenrand-System ähnelt dem Wiesbaden hochliegend Konzept und unterscheidet sich lediglich
durch die größere Entfernung des Auffangkanals des Wassers vom Überlaufbeckenrand.
Zur Herstellung dieser Beckenrandart gibt es das Trim-Box Stück mit abgerundeter Form und gerillter
Oberfläche das zugleich als Haltepunkt und Überlaufrand dient (Art. 6050).
Für die Verbindung zur Rinne kann man normale Fliesen verwenden die barfuß begangen einen
Rutschfestigkeitsgrad der Bewertungsgruppe C aufweisen, oder man kann traditionelle Formteile oder TrimBox Stücke anwenden die mit einer voreingebauten Gitterstütze versehen sind.

SISTEMA ST. MORITZ
Il sistema St. Moritz è in genere utilizzato per vasche terapeutiche, vasche idromassaggio oppure quando, per ragioni
tecniche, è necessario avere una parte della vasca fuori terra.
Questa tipologia di bordo ha ampie possibilità espressive ed estetiche e si presta a creare suggestivi effetti cascata in
vasche ludiche e ricreative.
La realizzazione tradizionale del sistema St. Moritz comporta il rivestimento di una struttura arrotondata che implica
maggiori difficoltà di costruzione del supporto in cemento, del posizionamento dei pezzi e della loro posa, specialmente
nel caso di piscine a forma libera.
La soluzione semplificata di Casalgrande Padana – Swimming Pool è sempre data dal sistema Trim-Box, che comprende
un pezzo speciale in ceramica a forma di quarto di cilindro (art. 0015) corredato dal relativo terminale arrotondato (art.
0017). Con l’impiego di questi elementi è sufficiente realizzare un normale muretto a superficie piana, sul quale posare
questi pezzi speciali che creano la sagoma arrotondata e consentono di ottenere uno sfioro più preciso e di maggiore
valenza estetica.
La sottostante canaletta di recupero dell’acqua può essere realizzata sia con pezzi tradizionali che con pezzi speciali del
sistema Trim-Box.

The St. Moritz’s system is very particular and is usually used therapeutic pools, spa pools and where, for technical reasons,
it is necessary to have part of the pool tank outside of the ground.
Thanks to its aesthetical appeal the St. Moritz pool border can also be considered to create nice cascade effects in
recreational and leisure pools.
To produce this pool border it is usually necessary to create a rounded shape in the concrete and install around it a number
of normal ceramic listellos. This however involves both extra efforts and time for positioning and installation of small
ceramic tiles especially in case of irregularly shaped pools.
The solution proposed by Casalgrande Padana Swimming Pool consists of a large radius quarter-round fitting (item 0015)
and its related stop-end (item 0017) both belonging to the Trim-Box system that make sufficient a flat surface of concrete
on which these fittings can be laid thus creating the requested rounded shape.
Even the lower scum channel can the be made either with traditional or Trim-Box fittings.

La solution Casalgrande Padana – Swimming Pool est réalisée avec une pièce a forme de quart de cylindre (réf. 0015) et
sa pièce d’about (réf. 0017) du système Trim-Box qui permettent de créer un muret normal avec surface plaine sur lequel
poser ces pièces qui donnent la forme arrondie et permettent une pose plus facile et une esthétique améliorée.
Le caniveau peut être réalisé avec les autres pièces du système Trim-Box ou avec les pièces traditionnelles.

oder in jenen Fällen wo ein Teil des Beckens frei steht, angewendet wird.
Die Schönheit dieses Systems eignet sich außerdem auch für die Gestaltung von Wasserfällen in Spiel- und Erholungsbecken.
Zu seiner Herstellung kann man indem man ein Vieleck mit normalen Keramik-Leisten gestaltet eine abgerundete Struktur
formen und überziehen. Dies bedingt jedoch einen größeren Schwierigkeitsgrad bei der Erstellung des Betonträgers, beim
Platzieren der Teile und deren Auslegen, vor allem bei Beckenrändern die in freier Form gestaltet sind.
Mit den Stücken des Trim-Box Systems, worunter sich auch ein Keramik Sonderstück in Form eines Viertelzylinders befindet
(Art. 0015) und das mit dem dazugehörigen Endstück versehen ist (Art. 0017), ist es stattdessen möglich eine normale, flache
Mauer zu errichten auf die man die Formteile legen kann. Es ergibt sich somit ein abgerundetes Profil mit einem schöneren
und genaueren Wasserüberlaufrand.
Auch der Wasserauffangkanal kann mit herkömmlichen, traditionellen Teilen oder mit Teilen des Trim-Box Systems gestaltet
werden.
