Titel: „ACTech: Trends & Ausblick für technische
Prototypen-Gussteile”

Laser-Sintern von Croning®-Formstoff:
Unter dem Titel "Verfahren zur Herstellung von dreidimensionalen Formen aus
aushärtbarem Formstoff" wurde das zu Grunde liegende Patent 1994 durch Dr. Florian
Wendt angemeldet. Zusammen mit der Firma EOS GmbH wurden Anlagen und
Methoden entwickelt, die dieses Verfahren umsetzen. Dabei wird gießereiüblicher
Croning®-Sand schichtweise zu Formsegmenten und Kernen aufgebaut. So entstehen
Sandguss-Formen für Prototypenteile ohne Modelleinrichtungen zu benötigen. Diese
Formen weisen geringste Toleranzen auf und sind ideal dafür geeignet, erste
Prototypen-Gussteile, ohne Investitionen in Modelleinrichtungen, herzustellen. Nahezu
alle sandgussüblichen Materialien, von Magnesium- oder Aluminium-Legierungen bis
zu hochwarmfesten Stählen, können darin vergossen werden. Anders als bei fast allen
anderen Rapid Prototyping-Verfahren wird dabei nicht versucht, ein Bauteil aus einem
Ersatzwerkstoff und mit einer serienfremden Rapid Prototyping-Technologie
herzustellen. Nur der Aufbau der benötigten Formsegmente erfolgt durch ein Rapid
Prototyping-Verfahren. Danach werden diese Formen im Schwerkraft- oder
Niederdruck-Sandguss verarbeitet, wie in jeder anderen Gießerei auch. Durch den
schichtweisen Aufbau lassen sich feinste Konturen erzeugen, die konventionell im
Sandguss nicht darstellbar sind, selbst Hinterschnitte können ohne Probleme abgebildet
werden. Die üblicherweise benötigten Ausformschrägen können entfallen, da bei
diesem schichtweisen Aufbau keine Abformung stattfindet.

Mittels eines neuen Niederdruck - Kokillengussverfahren gelingt es
der Evosteel GmbH Stahlguss und Edelstahlguss in Wandstärken
bis minimal 1,5 mm herzustellen.
Dadurch ist es möglich Automobilteile aus der Fahrzeugkarosserie
mit dem beim Gießen üblichen Geometriefreiheiten zu fertigen.
Komplexe A-, B- oder C-Säulen sind auf diesem Wege herstellbar.
