Das Kolloquium „TürkeiAlmanya“ führt die internationalen Wissenschaftsdiskurse zur Migrations- und Interkulturalitätsforschung
Deutschland und Türkei zusammen. Dabei widmet es sich den bis in die Gegenwart gewachsenen vice versa Transferlinien auf wissenschaftlicher und kultureller Ebene. Der Fokus liegt auf der interkulturellen
in Bezug auf die Länder
Regionalität. Wie Migration und Transnationalität angemessen in die Öffentlichkeit vermittelt werden können, diskutieren Kulturpraktiker, repräsentiert durch Archive und Ausstellungsmacher. Begleitend wird die Studierendenausstellung „Prometheus-
Funken. Ein Ausstellungsprojekt zum deutsch-türkischen Wissens- und Kulturtransfer seit 1923“ eröffnet.
The conference “TürkeiAlmanya” will attempt to summarise the ongoing international scientific discourse on migration and interculturality research with specific reference to
rectional
Germany and Turkey. In the process, it will concentrate on historic bi-di-
transfer lines and extrapolate these into the scientific and cultural present while focussing on approaches to research
on intercultural
regionality. The cultural and practical level of the conference, represented by archives and exhibition
makers, will concentrate on the prospects for adequately communicating migration and transnationality to the public. Running parallel
Sparks of Prometheus. An exhibition series on German-Turkish

Heinrich Heine University Düsseldorf and is active at an interdisciplinary level, organising research, exhibition and publication. The institute is networked via collaborations with regional cultural institutions and international research establishments in
