The danalock is made to
fit almost any door, but
the way it is mounted on
the door depends on the
door lock.
We have devided the different door locks in three
groups: The EURO, SCANDI,
and US door locks.
The different door locks
can be recognized by these
characteristics:

First you have to remove your
current door lock. Start on the
outside of the door by removing
the rosette and the screw. (a)
Remember to unscrew the lockscrew in the mortisse-plate at the

2. Take out the cylinder

Remove the rosette and unscrew
the remaining screw on the inside
of the door. Save the screw for
later use.
Insert your key and turn it so the
cam lines up with the body of the
cylinder.
Now you can pull out the cylinder.

In the danalock box you’ll find 4
extra lock cylinders.
Measure the back p
art of the
cylinder (grey on illustration) with
your old cylinder from the middle
of the screwhole and away from
the tailpiece.
Use the one that matches the
cylinder you removed from your
door. The new cylinder should be
the same length or a little shorter
than the old one.

You can mount the backplate in two ways:
A: Place the back plate on your
door so the tailpiece sticks out
from the center hole.
Break or cut the cylinder-screws
from the danalock package s o
they fit the distance, and fasten
the back plate to the cylinder.
Use the two h
oles beneath the
center hole.(c)

originally held the lock, and insert
the threaded tube from the
danalock package to extend the
second screw.

8. Mounting the back plate on the door version B

SCANDI VERSION
1. Fjern den aktuelle dørlås
First you have to remove the existing thumb turn
on the inside of the door.

On some doors it can be helpful to put a piece
of tape across the lock on the front of the door
to prevent it from falling when the screws are
removed.

2. Right size of cylinder-tailpiece

Many doors have cylinder tailpieces that extends
10 - 24 mm from the doorplate. They will fit the
danalock without adjustments!
If the tailpiece is less than 10 mm long from the
door surface, an extra tailpiece can be found
in the danalock box. (Please see the next two
illustrations).
De fleste døre har cylinder-medbringere, der stikker
fra 10 til 24 mm ud fra dørpladen. De behøver ingen
tilpasning af længden!

Unscrew the cover plate that holds the tailpiece and
switch the tailpiece that is too short with a new from
the danalock box. Due to varying door thickness, the
new tailpiece is often too long.
SCANDI VERSION
3. If the tailpiece is too short - insert a new

4. The new tailpiece - adjust the size

To avoid damaging the danalock you will have to
shorten the new tailpiece. It should only extend max.
24 mm from the door surface.
Mark the right length with a pen and use two pliers
or a wire cutter to shorten the tailpiece. You can
also unscrew the coverplate again and break the
tailpiece in a vice.
For at undgå at beskadige din danalock er du nødt til

Place the backplate where the thumb turn used to be
on your door. The round hole in the middle is for the
cylinder tailpiece.
Use the 2 screws from the thumb turn to attach
the backplate.

1. Hay que quitar la cerradura de la puerta
First you have to remove the existing thumb turn
on the inside of the door.

On some doors it can be helpful to put a piece of tape
across the lock on the outside of the door to prevent

Most doors have tailpieces that extends 10 - 24
mm from the doorplate. They will fit the danalock
without need for any adjustments to their lenght!

To avoid damaging the danalock you will have to

Insert the tailpiece adaptor, that suits the tailpiece
on your door in the center tube on the backside of
your danalock.

Remove the lid gently with a small flat- head
screwdriver.

The danalock comes with batteries inserted, but a
thin plastic folio guarantees that your new danalock
is fully charged.
Remove the folio and the danalock lights up with a
green light for 5-10 seconds.

that thetailpiece hits the slide in the middle of the
adaptor.

the two umbraco screws on each side of the base
with an 1,5 mm Allen key.

Create a user and a password.
When you have installed the App and logged in, a
wizard will guide you through the calibration and
adjustments of the danalock.
Klicken Sie auf den Link ”Benutzer anlegen” auf der
Anmeldeseite. Legen Sie einen Benutzer und ein
Passwort fest.
Nachdem die App installiert ist und Sie sich
angemeldet haben, wird Sie ein Assistent durch die
weiteren Schritte zur Justierung und Einstellung Ihres
Danalock leiten.
Haga click en ’Crear usuario nuevo’. Crea usuario y
contraseña. Cuando haya terminado y haya accedido
al app, este le guiará en el proceso de calibrado y
ajuste del Danalock.
Klik på ”Opret ny bruger” på login skærmen når du
har installeret App’en. Når du har logget ind vil en
monteringsguide fører dig gennem kalibrering og
justering af din danalock.

To lock the door, touch only briefly the User button
with your finger. Release the finger, and the
danalock will start a lock session.

Para bloquear la puerta presione ligeramente
