können mit High-End-Solutions von LOG ausgestattet werden.
Die Auswahl der passenden Komponenten ist dabei dank der
übersichtlichen Produktwelt von LOG denkbar einfach. LOG
Home-Entertainment-Systeme bestehen aus Lautsprechern
(EPILOG), die an ein Mediacenter ((PROLOG Basic oder Integral)
angeschlossen werden. Hinzu kommt ein TV-Gerät Ihrer Wahl.
Der Charakter der Anbausysteme bleibt unangetastet, denn
es gibt keine sichtbaren Kabel oder sich auftürmende Geräte.
All Neue Wiener Werkstätte cabinet systems can be equipped with high-end
solutions of LOG. The clearly structured range of LOG products makes
choosing the right components extremely easy. LOG home entertainment
systems consist of speakers (EPILOG) connected to a media centre
(PROLOG Basic or Integral) and to this, you can add a TV set of your
choice. The character of the cabinet system remains completely untouched,
since there are no visible cables or stacks of equipment.

four-colour LCD technology. All new Sharp TV models are pre-set by the factory for control with the PROLOG Integral Mediacenter.
You can, of course, also connect any other TV set to the PROLOG Mediacenter. However, this means that you will have to continue using a
separate remote control for the TV set.

Wer ist LOG Audio?
Das österreichische Unternehmen LOG Audio entwickelt und baut
seit 1990 Lautsprecher und Verstärker der Spitzenklasse. 2009
kamen vollintegrierte Audio-Video-Systeme hinzu, und Partnerschaften wie mit NWW wurden eingegangen. LOG-Produkte sind
nur bei ausgewählten Premiumhändlern erhältlich.

Woher kommt der brillante Klang von EPILOG Lautsprechern?
LOG wendet in einzigartiger Weise ein Konzept an, das unterschiedlichen Schallwandler-Technologien (zB. Horn, Kalotten,
Magnetostaten) nutzt. Pro Lautsprecher werden 3-6 erstklassige Chassis eingesetzt, Frequenzweichen händisch abgestimmt.
Jedes Modell muss vor der Auslieferung 1-a-Messergebnisse
erzielen und der Kritik professioneller Musiker standhalten.
Reicht ein Flatscreen nicht für tolles Musik- und Filmerlebnis?
LCD- und Plasmabildschirme werden immer flacher, eingebaute
Lautsprecher verlieren an Volumen. Für authentische Klangwiedergabe ist aber ein gewisses Volumen nötig. FlatscreenLautsprecher schaffen das nicht; benötigen daher externe
Einbaulautsprecher (z. B. EPILOG) plus Verstärker.
Kann ich Musik von iTunes/iPhone/iPad/iPod mit dem
PROLOG Mediacenter abspielen?
Sie haben zwei Möglichkeiten, Musik kabellos an das PROLOG
Mediacenter (Modell Basic oder Integral) zu senden:
a) Von iTunes auf Ihrem PC/Mac via WLAN.
b) Direkt vom iPhone/iPad/iPod touch via AirPlay.
Reichen zwei Stereo-Lautsprecher?
In der Realität spielt sich Musik, Theater, Kino vor dem Publikum auf
der Bühne ab. Dem am nächsten kommt die Wiedergabe über zwei
vorne befindliche Stereo-Lautsprecher.
Was sind die Vor-/Nachteile eines Surround-Systems?
Kinosäle benötigen seitlich und rückwärts Lautsprecher, da nur
wenige Besucher an der Mittelachse des Saals sitzen. In privaten
Räumen ist dies üblicherweise nicht gegeben. Klänge werden
umso stärker verzerrt, je mehr Lautsprecher es gibt. LOG
empfiehlt daher: 2 hochwertige, starke Stereo-Lautsprecher
statt 6 durchschnittliche (wie bei vielen 5.1 Surround-Systemen).
Bietet LOG auch Surround-Systeme an?
Stellt sich nach eingehender Beratung heraus, dass tatsächlich
Bedarf an einem 5.1 oder 7.2 Surrond-System besteht,
übernimmt LOG Audio die Planung und Installation. Hierbei
kommen teilweise Produkte dritter Hersteller zum Einsatz.
What is so special about LOG audio-video systems?

Who is LOG Audio?
The Austrian company LOG Audio has designed and built top
class loudspeakers and amplifiers since 1990. In 2009, fully
integrated audio-video systems were added and the company
entered into partnerships with others such as NWW. LOG
products are only available at selected premium dealers.
How does LOG differ from other high-end home entertainment
systems?
LOG offers, in co-operation with NWW, tailor-made solutions for
cabinet systems with virtually invisible technology. Its long
experience in the high-end audio segment allows LOG to apply
the highest standards to sound quality.
Why do EPILOG loudspeakers have such an amazing sound?
LOG is the only company to apply a concept that uses different
sound transducer technologies (e.g. horn, calottes, magnetostats). Between 3 and 6 first-class chassis are inserted in each
loudspeaker and the diplexers are manually adjusted. Each
model must achieve first class measuring results and stand up
to the criticism of professional musicians before it is delivered.
Can I also play music from iTunes/iPhone/iPad/iPod with the
PROLOG Mediacenter?
You have two possibilities of sending music to the PROLOG
Mediacenter (Basic and Integral models) without cables:
a) From iTunes on your PC/Mac via WLAN.
b) Directly from the iPhone/iPad/iPod touch via AirPlay.
Is a flat screen not sufficient for a superb music and film
experience?
LCD and plasma screens are becoming increasingly flatter and
built-in loudspeakers lose volume. However, authentic sound
reproduction requires a certain volume. The loudspeakers of flat
screens cannot deliver this, therefore, external loudspeakers
(e.g. EPILOG) plus amplifiers become necessary.
Are two stereo loudspeakers sufficient?
In actual life, music, theatre, cinema occur on stage in front
of the audience. The closest thing to this situation are two stereo
loudspeakers located in the front.
What are the advantages/disadvantages of a surround
system?
Movie theatres need loudspeakers along the sides and at the
back because only few members of the audience sit along the
central axis of the theatre. This is not usually the case in a
private environment. The more loudspeakers you have, the more
distorted the sound becomes. Therefore, LOG re­commends:
2 high-class, powerful stereo loud­speakers instead of 6 average
ones (as many 5.1 surround systems have).
Lassen sich EPILOG Einbaulautsprecher an bestehende
Anlagen/Verstärker anschließen?
Ja. Die Wiedergabequalität der Lautsprecher hängt jedoch
von der Qualität des Verstärkers und der Klangquelle
(CD, iPod etc.) ab.
Does LOG also offer surround systems?
If it results that, after detailed consultation, there is actually a
need for a 5.1 or 7.2 surround system, LOG will undertake its
planning and installation. In this case, products from third party
suppliers would be used to some extent.
Kann ich als technischer Laie mit all der Technik umgehen?
Ja! Die Zeit mehrerer Fernbedienungen und dicker Handbücher
ist vorbei. Die Einbindung von iPhone und iPad schaffen
zusätzlich Erleichterung. Die Musikarchiv-Bedienung mit Apple
ist die einfachste der Welt.
I am a technical amateur, will I also be able to handle all this
technology?
Yes! The time when several remote control units and voluminous
manuals are needed is past. The inclusion of iPhone and iPad
adds to simplify matters. Handling music archives with Apple is
the simplest thing in the world.
Welche TV-Geräte lassen sich an das PROLOG Mediacenter
anschließen?
PROLOG Integral: Jedes moderne TV-Gerät. Modelle von SHARP
können sogar mit der LOG-Fernbedienung gesteuert werden.
PROLOG Basic: Jedes TV-Gerät mit Kopfhörerausgang.
Which TV sets can be connected to the PROLOG Mediacenter?
PROLOG Integral: any modern TV set. SHARP models can even
be controlled with the LOG remote control. PROLOG Basic:
any TV set with a headset socket.
Nach welchen Kriterien wählt man ein TV-Gerät aus?
LOG empfiehlt die Originalmodelle von SHARP. Diese zeichnen sich
dank der einzigartigen Quattron 4-Farb-Technologie durch beste
Bildwiedergabe aus. Zudem werden Modelle mit 70 Zoll (177cm
Diagonale) und 80 Zoll zu moderaten Preisen angeboten.
Which criteria should one apply when choosing a TV set?
LOG recommends the original SHARP models. They stand out by
their excellent picture quality, thanks to the unique Quattron
four-colour technology. In addition, models with 70 in. (177 cm
diagonally) and 80 in. are available at moderate prices.
Kann ich eine Playstation etc. an das LOG System schließen?
Sie können sowohl Playstation, XBOX oder das Apple TV über HDMI
Kabel an das TV Gerät schließen. Das TV Gerät ist mit dem
PROLOG Mediacenter verbunden. Daher kommt der Ton kommt in
jedem Fall in über die EPILOG Lautsprecher!
Can I connect a Playstation etc. to the LOG system?
Yes, you can connect a Playstation, an XBOX or an Apple TV to
the TV set with an HDMI cable. The TV set is connected to the
PROLOG Mediacenter. In any case, the sound comes through the
EPILOG loudspeaker.
Kann ich auch Fernsehsendungen aufzeichnen?
Die TV Modelle von SHARP besitzen bereits SAT und Kabelreceiver,
aber nur eine begrenzte Aufnahmekapazität. Sie können aber
einen externen Festplattenreceiver anschließen. Dieser wird mit
seiner eigenen Fernbedienung angesteuert.
Can I also record TV programmes?
The SHARP TV sets are already equipped with SAT and cable
receivers, but they only have limited recording capacity.
However, you can also connect an external hard disc receiver,
which has to be operated with its own remote control.
Wie kann das Möbel gestaltet sein?
Das LOG Audio System kann in sämtliche Anbausysteme der
NWW integriert werden, ob Klassik oder Moderne, und ist ganz
nach individuellem Kundenwunsch gestaltbar: in verschiedensten
Maßen, Oberflächen und Ausführungen, ganz egal ob Sideboard,
Schrankwand oder Solitärmöbel.
How should the furniture be designed?
The LOG audio system can be integrated into any NWW
cabinet system of both Klassik and Moderne lines, and it can
be tailor-made to the customer‘s individual requirements,
i.e. with different measurements, surfaces and finish to fit
sideboards, wall units or standalone pieces.
Was tun bei einem Defekt?
Schäden bei EPILOG Lautsprechern sind sehr unwahrscheinlich.
Bei etwaigen technischen Schäden am PROLOG Mediacenter
wird das Modul von geschulten Mitarbeitern/Elektrikern Ihres
NWW-Händlers ausgebaut und zur Reparatur an LOG gesandt.
What do I do when a defect occurs?
The occurrence of damage to EPILOG loudspeakers is highly
improbable. Should damage occur to the PROLOG Mediacenter,
the module will be dismounted by trained employees/electricians
of your NWW dealer and sent to LOG for repair.
Welche Garantie besteht?
Auf EPILOG Lautsprecher gibt es 6 Jahre Garantie, auf PROLOG
3 Jahre, ausgenommen eingebauter CD/DVD/Blu-ray-Player: 1 Jahr.
Are there any guarantees?
EPILOG loudspeakers have a 6-year guarantee; PROLOG 3 years;
integrated CD/DVD/Blu-ray players are guaranteed for 1 year.

What is the delivery time?
The delivery time is approx. 8 weeks.
