Gestaltungsmöglichkeiten für das Cabrio
Zustimmung der Verwaltung erhielt die CDU-Fraktion in der
letzten Gemeindratssitzung für ihren Vorschlag, dem gesuchten Generalplaner für
das Cabrio noch alternative Gestaltungsmöglichkeiten zuzugestehen. In der Sitzung
ging es um die Ausschreibung für einen Generalplaner, der auch ein
Architektenteam sein kann. Ihm werden selbstverständlich strenge Vorgaben
gemacht, was Größe, Funktion, Leistungsbeschreibung und vor allem
Kostenobergrenze anbelangt, so wie es die Vorplanung des Beraterbüros
aufgezeigt hat.

Aber unserer Meinung nach sollte den Bewerbern um die
Generalplanung die Chance gegeben werden, wenigsten alternativ eigene Ideen und
Vorstellungen einzubringen, sofern sie den Auftrags- und Kostenrahmen einhalten.
Das gilt vor allem für die Bauweise und Form des Daches als
Holz-, Stahl-, Solar- oder pneumatische Konstruktion. Gerade hier könnte für
das Cabrio noch ein besonderer Akzent gesetzt werden. Erst vor kurzem haben die
Architekten von Weinstadt auf die kostengünstige Einzigartigkeit einer
pneumatischen Konstruktion mit einem tollen Werkstoff hingewiesen.
Für uns als CDU-Fraktion ist entscheidend, dass die
Kostenobergrenze streng eingehalten wird, aber auch die Fähigkeiten der
Architekturkunst genutzt werden. Gute Architektur – das gilt seit den Zeiten
des Bauhauses – ist nicht teurer.
