Einbau Festplattenlaufwerke in Vectis iX Geräte
Einbau einer zweiten Festplatte in Vectis iX06
1. Schalten Sie das Gerät zuerst aus und trennen Sie es vom
elektrischen Netz
2. Entfernen Sie den Gehäusedeckel.
3. Die zweite Festplatte soll im zweiten, größeren Schacht
eingebaut werden, siehe Bild (a) links in „Bigger tray“.
4. Beide Festplattenschächte müssen nun ausgebaut werden.
Lösen und entfernen Sie jeweils 4 Schrauben.
5. Befestigen Sie die neue Datenfestplatte im größeren
Schacht mit Hilfe der mitgelieferten 4 Schrauben aus dem
Festplattenkitt, siehe Bild (c). Die Einbaulage der neuen
Festplatte ist im Bild (b) dargestellt.
6. Schließen Sie das SATA- und Stromversorgungskabel an
die Festplatte an. Das SATA-Kabel wird mit dem
Festplattenkitt mitgeliefert und muss mit der anderen Seite
auf dem freien SATA-Steckplatz der Hauptplatine
aufgesteckt werden. Das Stromversorgungskabel ist
bereits vorhanden und wird an der neuen Festplatte
aufgesteckt.
7. Schrauben Sie zuerst den großen Schacht wieder in das
Gehäuse und anschließend den kleinen Schacht.
8. Setzen Sie den Gehäusedeckel auf und verschrauben ihn.
9. Schließen Sie das Spannungsversorgungskabel an.
10. Folgen Sie abschließend den Hinweisen zur
Inbetriebnahme einer neuen Festplatte im Vectis iX
Installationshandbuch (siehe Kapitel 7.1.4).
Einbau von Festplatten in Vectis iX16 – iX48
1. Schalten Sie das Gerät zuerst aus und trennen Sie es vom
elektrischen Netz.
2. Entfernen Sie den Gehäusedeckel.
3. Im System sehen Sie zwei Festplattenkäfige.
4. Beide Festplattenkäfige müssen nun ausgebaut werden.
Lösen und entfernen Sie jeweils 4 Schrauben, siehe Bild
(a). Jeder Käfig kann 3 Festplatten aufnehmen.
5. Stecken Sie nun die neuen Festplatten in den Käfig / die
Käfige und befestigen Sie diese mit den mitgelieferten
Schrauben, siehe Bild (b).
6. Stecken Sie die vorhandenen SATA- und
Stromversorgungskabel in die neuen Festplatten und
befestigen Sie die Käfige wieder an ihren ursprünglichen
Platz mit Hilfe der zuvor gelösten Schrauben.
7. Setzen Sie den Gehäusedeckel auf und verschrauben ihn.
8. Schließen Sie das Spannungsversorgungskabel an.
9. Folgen Sie abschließend den Hinweisen zur
Inbetriebnahme von neuen Festplatten im Vectis iX
Installationshandbuch (siehe Kapitel 7.1.4).

Installing hard drives in Vectis iX units
Installing of a second hard drive into Vectis iX06
1. Firstly turn off the Vectis iX unit and disconnect it from
the main power supply.
2. Remove the cover of the unit.
3. The new hard drive shall be placed in the free “Bigger
tray”, see picture (a).
4. Loosen and remove the 4 screws and dismount both
HDD trays..
5. Mount the hard drive using the 4 screws delivered with
the NVR package. See picture (c), Position the SATA
connector as shown on picture (b).
6. Connect the SATA cable and power cable to the HDD.
The SATA cable is part of the HDD kit, it shall be also
plugged into the free SATA connector on the
motherboard. (PSU cable is already connected on NVR).
7. First put back the bigger tray then the smaller and
remount them with the screws
8. Close the box by screwing the cover to the unit case.
9. Plug-in the Vectis iX power supply cable.
10. Please follow the procedure to initialize a new HDD
described in the Vectis iX Installation Instruction Manual
(section 7.1.4).
Installing of hard drives into Vectis iX16 – iX48
1. Firstly turn off the Vectis iX unit and disconnect it from the
main power supply.
2. Remove the cover of the unit.
3. Inside the system, you will see two HDD racks available.
4. Loosen and remove the 4 screws that fix one HDD rack.
Dismount the rack from the system. One HDD rack
accommodates 3 trays, see picture (a).
5. Slide your HDD(s) into the available tray(s) and fix them in
place by fasten the screws delivered with the NVR
package, see picture (b).
6. Install both HDD racks back into the unit and connect the
HDD(s) with the SATA & power cables, see picture (c).
7. Close the box by screwing the cover to the unit case.
8. Plug-in the Vectis iX power supply cable.
9. Please follow the procedure to initialize a new HDD
described in the Vectis iX Installation Instruction Manual
(section 7.1.4)
