Sehr geehrte Kolleginnen und Kollegen,
Dear Colleagues,
sehr herzlich laden wir Sie vom 14. bis
16. Oktober 2015 zum 60. Internationalen
Hörgeräteakustiker-Kongress nach Nürnberg
ein. Sie dürfen gespannt sein auf den Jubi­
läumskongress. In der traditionellen Handwerksstadt Nürnberg präsentieren etwa
110 Aussteller auf modernsten Ausstellungsflächen ihre Innovationen. Die Fachaus­
stellung findet erstmals auch in der neuen
Messehalle 3A der NürnbergMesse statt.
Das Kongressprogramm ist mit 24 Vorträgen, sechs Workshops und international renommierten Referenten interessant, innovativ
und vielfältig aufgestellt. Der erste Kongresstag dreht sich thematisch um den Rückblick
und die Zukunft der Hörgeräte und der Branche und um Innovationen bei der Hörgeräte­
anpassung und der Technik sowie Sprachverstehen und psychoakustische Kenngrößen.
Am zweiten Tag stehen die binaurale Versorgung, die Perzentilanalyse sowie Richtmikrofonsysteme im Mittelpunkt. Es geht auch
um Neues aus der Hirnforschung, Sprachverständlichkeit und das Thema Energie und
Hörgeräte. Der dritte Tag ist auf die Versorgung mit CI, CIC und Knochenleitungssysteme, Frequenz-Konzepte sowie Zubehör aus­
gerichtet. Es geht zudem um Themen wie
Gehörschutz für Musikliebhaber und besseres
Hören beim Mobiltelefonieren. In den Workshops werden u. a. Audiotherapie, CochleaImplantate, die Versorgung mit Knochen­
leitungsgeräten sowie die Perzentilanalyse
vorgestellt.
Im Historischen Lexikon Bayerns findet
sich folgender Eintrag: „Nürnberg verdankt
seinen wirtschaftlichen Aufstieg im Spätmittelalter unter anderem dem Handwerk, das
eine hohe Innovationskraft entwickelte.“
Auch heute, einige Jahrhunderte später, trifft
sich wieder eine Handwerksbranche, die auf
hohes technisches Innovationspotenzial bauen kann, in Nürnberg. Es wird über technische Errungenschaften, neueste Erkenntnisse
aus Wissenschaft, Medizin und Audiologie
gefachsimpelt. Ein Besuch des Jubiläumskongresses in Nürnberg lohnt sich, denn Handwerk und modernste Technologien sind das
Potenzial für die Zukunft unserer Branche.
Und nach wie vor gilt der Satz aus Wagners

I should like to cordially invite you to
attend the 60th International Congress of
Hearing Aid Acousticians scheduled for 14
to 16 October 2015 in Nürnberg. You may
look forward to our Jubilee Congress. Some
110 exhibitors will be presenting their innovations on the most modern exhibition
space in this traditional craftsmen’s town of
Nürnberg. It will be the first time that part
of the trade exhibition is also held in the
new exhibition hall 3A of NürnbergMesse.
There will be an interesting, innovative,
and broad-ranging conference programme
featuring 24 lectures, six workshops as well
as internationally renowned presenters. The
first day of the Congress will look back on
the past as well as focusing on the future of
hearing aids and the hearing aid sector and
innovations in hearing aid fitting, technology, speech understanding as well as psy­
choacoustic parameters. On the second day,
binaural systems, percentile analysis, and
directional microphones will take centre
stage. Innovations from brain research,
speech intelligibility plus hearing aids and
power supply will also be dealt with. On the
third day, lecturers will look into CI and
CIC, bone-conduction systems, frequency
concepts, as well as accessories and topics
such as hearing protection for music aficionados and better hearing in mobile communication. The workshops will focus, for instance, on audio therapy, cochlear implants,
bone conduction devices as well as percentile
analysis.
The Historical Dictionary of Bavaria says:
“Nürnberg also owes its economic rise in the
late Middle Ages to the craft sector, which
developed enormous innovative strength.”
Several hundred years later, a trade sector
that relies on huge technical innovation potential once again will be meeting in Nürnberg today. Experts will share facts on technological achievements and groundbreaking
results of the latest medical and audiological research. The Jubilee Congress will be
worth attending as the craft sector and modern technology have great potential for the
future of our line of business. A line from
Wagner’s The Mastersingers of Nuremberg
still holds true today: “Scorn not the Masters, I bid you, and honour their art!”
