„Ich reise zwar acht bis neun Monate im Jahr, aber
die Welt ist groß – es gibt noch viele Länder, die ich
sehen möchte, hoffentlich, eines Tages! Ich komme
aus Dirksland, das ist südlich von Rotterdam, und zu
Hause ist es immer noch am schönsten. Die niederländische Nordseeküste ist großartig, am liebsten
gehe ich am Brouwersdam ins Wasser. Im Winter trainiere ich viel in Kapstadt und Brasilien. Mein Tipp: das
Strandörtchen Uruaù-Ceara, anderthalb Stunden Autofahrt südlich von Fortaleza. Weiße Sanddünen, warmes Wasser und die Pousada BassiBrasil am Zebra
Beach, mit einem italienischen Koch, der extrem leckere Steaks brät! Wenn ich mal Urlaub mache, dann
in einer richtig großen Stadt: New York oder Paris.“
“I travel for eight or nine months every year, but the
world is big, and there are many countries I would like
to see. I hope I will, one day! I come from Dirksland,
south of Rotterdam, and I’m really happiest when I’m
at home. The Dutch North Sea coast is incredible, I like
going into the water at Brouwersdam best of all. During
the winter months, I train in Cape Town and Brazil a lot.
My tip: Uruaù-Ceara, a tiny beach town just an hour
and a half south of Fortaleza by car. White sand dunes,
warm water and Pousada BassiBrasil on Zebra Beach,
a restaurant with an Italian chef who serves up excellent steak! When I get a chance to go on vacation,
I like to visit really big cities like New York or Paris.

A promising young Belgian with his eye on the men’s kitesurfing championship
“I travel more than 300 days a year. I spent my last
vacation snowboarding in Vancouver, Canada. But I
like Cape Town best of all. When I’m there, I usually
stay near Big Bay in Table View, which has everything
you need for a good time: beautiful natural scenery,
lots of bays and the best kite spots, all of them very
different. When I am forced to take a day off because
my muscles are so sore I can hardly move, I go to the
aquarium at the V+A Waterfront. It’s got cinemas and
shopping malls and restaurants and a crazy nightlife
scene. The city is a playround, but only if you’ve got
money to spend. That’s the downside of Cape Town:
the tremendous social inequality – the divide between
rich and poor – and the crime that goes with it. When
I was standing at a red light once, someone shot at
our car with a kind of air gun. Luckily, we escaped with
just a broken window.”

„Ich reise mehr als 300 Tage im Jahr. Meinen letzten
Urlaub habe ich in Vancouver gemacht, ich war Snowboarden in Kanada. Aber am liebsten bin ich in Kapstadt, ich wohne meistens in der Nähe der Big Bay
in Table View. Dort hat man alles, was Spaß macht:
eine wunderschöne Natur, die vielen Buchten und abwechslungsreiche, beste Kitespots. Wenn ich einen
Tag Pause machen muss, weil ich mich vor Muskelkater nicht bewegen kann, besuche ich das Aquarium an
der Waterfront. Es gibt überall Kinos, Shopping-Malls,
Restaurants, ein verrücktes Nachtleben. Die Stadt ist
eine Spielwiese, zumindest wenn man nicht arm ist.
Das ist der Nachteil an Kapstadt: die starken sozialen
Gegensätze und, damit verbunden, auch die Kriminalität. An einer roten Ampel wurden wir sogar mal im
Auto mit einer Art Luftgewehr beschossen. Zum Glück
ist nur ein Fenster zu Bruch gegangen.“

ich schlafe. Wenn es mich in eine Stadt zieht, dann

Straßen zu bummeln, draußen in einem Café zu sitzen, die Kultur und Geschichte zu spüren.“

„Ich lebe in Tarifa und reise meistens nur zu Wettkämpfen.
Aber letztes Jahr war ich mit Freunden einige Tage in Berlin –
ich bin begeistert von der Stadt. Wir haben sie mit dem Fahrrad erkundet und viel gesehen, es hat großen Spaß gemacht.
Die Leute sind angenehm, jeder kann Englisch, ich mochte
den Vibe. Leider durfte ich nicht feiern, weil ich danach Wettkämpfe hatte. Aber ich möchte auf jeden Fall noch einmal zurück und dann auch das Berliner Nachtleben mitnehmen – am
besten nach einer gewonnenen Weltmeisterschaft!“
“I live on Tenerife and usually only travel to attend competitions. But last year some of my friends and I spent a few days
in Berlin – I love that city! We rented bikes and saw a lot of it
that way. It was really run. The people are pleasant, everyone
speaks English, I like the vibe. I couldn’t party though, unfortunately, because I had a competition coming up. I’d love to
go back there, though, and when I do, check out the bars and
clubs - preferably after winning the world championship!”

„In England bin ich gern in Brighton, südlich von London. Einen meiner schönsten Aufenthalte hatte ich aber in Cabarete
in der Dominikanischen Republik. Dort gibt es Berge, Wälder
und Wasserfälle im Landesinneren und viele unberührte Palmenstrände an der Küste. Cabarete ist ein entspannter Ort mit
einer angenehmen Mischung aus Locals und Touristen und mit
vielen Restaurants, die frisch gefangenen Fisch zubereiten –
ein guter Ausgangspunkt, um die Insel zu erkunden. Nur Autofahren kann ich dort nicht empfehlen, der Verkehr ist verrückt!“

„Ich lebe auf der Insel Ilhabela, östlich von São Paulo. Für mich sind KitePausen wichtig, um mich neu zu fokussieren. Dann gehe ich surfen, tauchen
oder in den Bergen wandern – Ilhabela mit seinem Regenwald und über 300
Wasserfällen ist sehr abwechslungsreich. Der perfekte Tag endet in der Altstadt Vila, wo man ein Eis essen und den Sonnenuntergang genießen kann.
Im Urlaub zieht es mich nach Barcelona. Dort habe ich länger gelebt und
eine besondere Verbindung zur Stadt. Mein Tipp: das Viertel El Born. Es ist
zwar klein, aber man kann sich stundenlang in seinen Gassen verlieren.“

Ilhabela’s scenery is hugely diverse, with lots of rainforest cover and more
than 300 waterfalls. The perfect end to my perfect day is in the old town of
Vila, watching the sunset while I enjoy an ice cream. Barcelona is where I
go to vacation. I lived there for quite a while, so I have a special affinity with
the city. My tip: A visit to El Born district. It may not be very big, but you can
spend hours wandering through its maze of narrow streets.”

„Für mich ist Maui die Insel der unendlichen Möglichkeiten, dort
habe ich mich auch mit dem Kite-Virus infiziert. Abgesehen von
den perfekten Wassersportbedingungen kann man durch Nadelwälder biken, auf Vulkankrater klettern, durch dichte Bambusfelder gehen – es ist ein echt schönes Gefühl, zwischen all diesen
vier Meter hohen Röhren zu stehen! Dazu ist die Infrastruktur gut,
man kann ins Kino gehen, shoppen ohne langes Suchen – das
schätze ich sehr. Wenn es mich in Städte zieht, dann häufig nach
Bern. Ich mag das Flair, die vielen Cafés und Biergärten. Wenn
die Sonne scheint, liege ich gern im Rosengarten mit Aussicht auf
die Altstadt und die Aareschlaufe. Außerdem habe ich eine Weile
in Wien gewohnt, das ist für mich wie ein zweites Zuhause.“

“For me, Maui is an island with unlimited possibilities, and it’s
where I caught the kitesurfing bug. Watersports conditions are
just perfect, but you can also bike through conifer forests there,
climb volcanic craters, walk through thick bamboo groves – it’s
really a special feeling to stand among those tall, four-meter-high
stalks. The infrastructure is good on Maui, too. You can go to
the movies or shop without having to spend forever looking for
something, which is ideal for me. When I feel like visiting a city,
I often go to Berne. I like the atmosphere, the many cafés and
beer gardens. If it’s a nice sunny day, I like to lie in the Rosengarten park with its view of the old town and the Aare river loop.
I also lived in Vienna for a while; it’s like a second home to me.”

from encumbrances or claims of the third parties. At that in
accordance with the requirements of the current legislation,
a proposal on realization of the pre-emptive right will be
submitted on those assets or facilities, where there is the
second owner or shareholder. In case of refusal of the right,
the asset or facility will be put up for auction and sold to the
successful bidder determined in course of the bid in compliance with all rules. The name of the following the principle
economic feasibility speaks for itself. The Fund will realize
assets at fair market value, trying to get maximum profit. If
any assets do not find demand, so the Fund will take further
decisions on the disposition of that property”.
