Since its formation by Richard König in
1974, our company has followed a trajectory of dynamic growth. The continuous
expansion of our fields of business has
gone a long way to convincing customers
of both our capabilities and our power to
innovate. The company has been certified
as compliant with the standards of DIN
EN ISO 9001:2000 for the development,
manufacture and sale of seats, brackets
and headrests since 2003. Refurbs and
conversions, construction and military
vehicles, control centres and passenger
cars: our high-quality products cover
almost every segment of the industry.
Drawing on our long-standing experience, we combine an efficient development process with plenty of dedication
to create highly functional, rugged and
durable products with an equally appealing design.
As a medium-sized family-owned enterprise in its second generation, we keep
hierarchies flat so as to ensure we can respond quickly and flexibly to the needs
of our customers. Ensuring high-quality
products with made-to-measure functionality and flawless ergonomics. Major

Part of our team since January 1976,
Gabriele now works in Upholstery and –
since joining the company – in production
planning.

After joining us in May 1981, Andreas first
worked as an upholsterer before taking
on his current support role for motor sport
customers, events and sponsoring.
FRITZ WÖRNER
After joining König in November 1989,
Fritz has worked continuously in production/material requirements planning ever
since.

JOACHIM GROMOLL
Has been with us since August 1988. After
starting in Upholstery, Joachim took over
the management of the Foam Parts and
Coverings Development Unit in the mid1990s and has since worked on its expansion. He oversees seat development and
custom seating modifications for people
with limited physical mobility.
JÜRGEN ROSSNAGEL
Jürgen joined us on January 4th, 1988
and is responsible for welding work, onsite seat installation at our customers and
for small part packaging.

BAIRAM FERIZAY
A welder by trade, Bairam has worked at
our company since November 1988, and
focuses especially on bracket production
and seat frameworks needed by our Metalworking unit.

HANS-GEORG ULLENBRUCH
Since October 1st, 1989, Hans-Georg has
held a number of positions in Sales, where
customer satisfaction is his top priority.

EWALD KUNZ
Ewald joined König on March 1st, 1982.
Since then, he‘s been a permanent fixture
in our Metals unit, where he oversees seat
frameworks/brackets and all of our metalworking projects.

The design and manufacture of sport and
ergonomic seats for high-mileage drivers has been part of our portfolio almost
since day one. We also have the optimum
solution for people who are prone to back
problems. In addition, we can also offer
you a choice of seat brackets for a wide
range of vehicle models. In demanding
driving situations, the outstanding lateral
supports and perfect ergonomics of our
sport seats protect the shoulders, pelvis,
neck and lumbar vertebrae. Other key
features include premium usability and
an appealing design.

have been developed in close collaboration with experts in ergonomics, specialist
medicine and convalescent therapy. One
of the results of this collaboration is the

Workspaces for monitoring and surveillance duties, such as porter‘s offices,
control centres, observation rooms or operation rooms require rugged equipment
designed with the back in mind. Ideally,
chairs should also be adjustable to suit
a range of personnel working to a threeshift system. Started in 2010, our development partnership with the Dutch company
BMA Ergonomics B.V. has since produced
the „BMA König Secur24“, a comfortable
24/7 chair for personnel engaged in observation and surveillance work. Secur24
is ergonomically sophisticated, individually adjustable and especially durable. All
of which makes it perfect for users who
are „tied to their chair“ for long periods
at a time. Based on experience from both
partners plus user feedback, the Secur24
Basic and Exclusive models have undergone a continuous process of improvement and optimisation.

Our company has been associated with
motor racing from day one. As one example, the „Formula König“ programme
launched by our founder Richard König in
1987 offered pivotal support to many upand-coming drivers. Michael Schuhmacher was one of Formula König‘s talented
youngsters. We‘re currently supporting
many up-and-coming drivers as well as
successful professionals in all areas of
motor sport.
