As the President of the Brazilian Society of
Internal Medicine and the Brazilian Clinical
Research Institute (BCRI) I am honored
to welcome you to the
2nd. International Symposium of Thrombosis
and Anticoagulation ISTA 2009.
The main purpose of this symposium is
to discuss the most recent evidence on
thrombosis and anticoagulation, including
new agents under development and novel
diagnostic tools in the field.
The focus is to understand how to
better apply the evidence into clinical practice
so that the patients will gain and you will
enhance the quality of care you offer your
patients. This meeting provides a unique
opportunity to witness the latest
knowledge in this field.
The clinical aspects including the most
update treatments are our major objective in
order to offer you concise answers that will
help in the patient management on a
day-by-day basis. I Hope you enjoy this
scientific program and take advantage of
the presence of our expert national and
international faculty.
