Strathroy Economy Shop: Those of you who have been in
the store recently will have noticed the changes to expand the
floor space, and open up the clothing area. We will be doing
further renovations later this summer to further enhance the
shopping experience. Beginning in September, we are
looking for volunteer assistance in the clothing section. If you
would like to help us with our mission to assist the neediest in

Strathroy Economy Shop / St Vincent de Paul store is
need of clothing donations. With a major competitor
coming to Strathroy, we are appealing for sellable
donations to keep our store running. We would like to
remind everyone that we are 100% not for profit and
support our local community continuously. By
supporting us, you are also supporting your local
community.
CWL Bus trip to the CWL Diocesan Day at the
Shrine, St. Patrick’s Church, Merlin, on July 20,
2016 - Walk Through the Holy Doors. The day
involves meet and greet, Prayerful Reflection, Sacrament
of Reconciliation, Mass, Rosary, brown bag lunch with
coffee, tea and water available. There are 3 tentative bus
pick-up and drop-off locations: St. Michael’s, Holy
Cross and St. George’s. The day also includes a stop at
Parks Blueberries Country Store on our way back to
London. The cost of the trip is $25.00 which includes a
muffin and tea or coffee at Parks Blueberries Country
Store. To book your spot on the bus please call Joan
Lobsinger at 519-438-4909 no later than June 28th.

New Schedules for Liturgical Ministries
The current schedule ends on the 3rd of
August and the new schedule is being prepared. If
you have ever thought about volunteering for a
particular ministry at Mass, please speak to me in
the next week and we will look at getting you
prepared and on the new schedule. The various
ministries are Lector (Reader), Usher, Greeter, Altar
Server. I am also certain that our choirs are open to
new members - call the office for their contact
information!
