ʻThe Herdade Grande property is located about 5km from Vidigueira/
Alentejo, comprising 350 hectares – 60 hectares of vineyard, 40 of olive
grove, 80 of arboreal culture, and the remainder serves as pasture land
for the vine. António Lanca planted his first vineyard in 1980 and initiated
his career as a wine producer in 1996.ʼ

Caves S. João is the oldest company in Bairrada that has always been
owned and managed by members of the same family. The company owns
a vineyard where it grows the grapes used in the production of its Quinta
do Poço do Lobo wines. We are now launching into the classic wines

exquisite customers. Besides this it also produces still wines from Bairrda

Being a fanatic about terroir François Lurton was immediately attracted
by the qualities of the deep lying cambric schist soil in the Douro, the
oldest demarcated region in history. Rather than looking at producing

their owners, dedicated to produce wines from the Douro Region.
This small “quinta” of 10 ha, located in Cima Corgo has its vineyards

ʻIn 1820 the Reynolds family came to Portugal and were first established
in Oporto, some years later they began to produce quality wines in the
Alentejo. The Alentejo has become a definitive cradle of the Reynolds
family.
The main types of grape cultivated are traditional in the region:
Trincadeira, Aragnoés and Alicante Bouchet, the latter was introduced by
the Reynolds over a century and a half ago. ʼ

between Régua and Pinhão. The quinta covers 130 hectares, of which 70
are planted with grade “A” vineyards. Sitting on a privileged location in the
Douro Demarcated Region, Quinta do Crasto has been in the family of
Leonor and Jorge Roquette for over a century. Its origins lie in ancient
times (the name CRASTO comes from the Latin word castrum, a Roman

ʻQuinta de Ventozelo is one of the oldest and most extensive properties
(500 ha.) in the Douro Region, Portugal. At the centre of Cima Corgo,
overlooking Pinhão, the whole property is classified as grade
“A” (maximum in quality).
The vineyards extend to 200 hectares in a privileged location on the
curve of the Douro river. More than 17 different varietals are planted.ʼ

Quinta da Raza`s history goes back to the XVII Century and it has
remained in the same family ever since. The vineyard has always been
the main farming interest due to the importance of the high quality of the
grapes produced. These range from Azal, Arinto, Vinhão to Alvarinho,
which are unique grape varieties from the Vinho Verde Region. The
unique terroir is created by the gentle slopes and the magnificent
exposure to the sun.ʼ
