Some possible activities and projects your student branch can implement as part of ISBIR Program can be enumerated as: Informative Meetings or Presentations for the Awareness of IEEE and ISBIR Extensive Organizations about Industry Professional and Technical Project Groups Project Implementation Center or Laboratories Cooperation with Alumni and Related Organizations Technical Trips to Factories or Industry Zones Technical Seminars or Trainings Project or Business Idea Contests Fair and Conference Participations Providing Career and Internship Opportunities for Students Individual Meetings with Industry Representatives Sponsorship Agreements with Companies Research about the Local Characteristics of Industry As you can see, extending the list of activities is only limited(!) by the creativity of IEEE volunteers ! Student branches can immediately participate in ISBIR Program by submitting the application forms and begin to implement industry-related activities in their local areas. ISBIR Guide and ISBIR Program Presentation will help IEEE volunteers in establishing permanent relations with industrial companies and retrieving feedback from them about their demands from IEEE and your student branch using ISBIR Survey. Once your branch is involved in ISBIR Program, we are always eager to learn about your activities so you can inform us about your recent activities in order to "benefit" from the subprograms of ISBIR Program using the ISBIR Action Submission Form Also, you are always welcome to contact us at [email protected] for your feedbacks and questions. IEEE Student Branch Web Site Contest Annual competition between Student Branches all over the world Deadline is 15 March If you are a IEEE student member, and you consider your Student Branches website could participate, write an email with your SB’s name, the website’s URL and an official contact person’s name and e-mail to [email protected] . The winner will receive an Award Plaque and three years free IEEE membership. Deadline for nominations 31 March! IEEE.tv IEEE.tv Member/Basic - an internet broadcasting network that produces and delivers special-interest programming about technology and engineering only for members. Beta release of IEEE.tv is now available. IEEE.tv Public Access - Programs that are free to the general public, offering information and guidance about careers in technology and engineering, topics of public interest, and introductions to new IEEE products.
