"Designed in 2009, starting from a project of the brothers Alexandre [Bob] and
Rafael [Negão] Porfírio, Doctor MARS is a brazilian alternative rock band from
the city of Indaiatuba / SP, and creates his music in an independent and original
way, result of an extensive hardly labeled musical mix.
In 2011, they counted on the input of Bruno Mantovani on drums, which certainly
boosted the musical potential of the band.
In mid-2013, after the release of their first album titled "Doctor MARS", in order to
broaden the diversity of references in his music, they searched for a new member.
Only in 2014 found "THE ONE". With Caio Felipe on keys | synth, they got the
missing element to their new compositions.
With influences of Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Muse, Billy Talent, Underschool
Element, Marcus Miller, The Who, The Beatles, the band has taken considerable
space in the independent scene and especially in the local scene, participating in
major festivals such as: Virada Cultural de São Paulo, GRITO Rock, Araraquara
ROCK, FEIA, among others. "
