Dear students,
O 3º Trimestre de Inglês do 7º ano está focado no Passado. Além de vermos o passado de
BE, e o Simple Past nas formas afirmativa, negativa e interrogativa, temos também o uso dos
números ordinais.
Para estudar um idioma, o aluno deve ler, em primeiro lugar. Releia os textos que
trabalhamos em nosso livro didático (sempre com um dicionário ao lado), bem como as provas de
Objetivo 2 (Reading). Depois releia e refaça (reescrita) todos os Writings (Objetivo 3), prestando
atenção à correção para chegar à resposta correta. Por fim, entender pontos gramaticais, regras,
exceções e estar atendo aos macetes, é sempre essencial.

A) SIMPLE PAST
Simple Past tense is about a specific and known time in the past. It is something you
know exactly when happened. Affirmative sentences need the past-form of the verbs.
The past-form of verbs are divided into 2 columns, or 2 groups: Regular and Irregular.
Negative and Interrogative sentences don’t need verbs in the past tense because they
must have an Auxiliary Verb, which is DID.
B) ORDINAL NUMBERS
Numbers that order, put in line. Used in competitions’ places, dates… They’re mostly
followed by TH, except for 1ST, 2ND and 3RD, or numbers that end in 1, 2 or 3 and that
are higher than 20.

Legend of
Loch Ness
Loch Ness is a lake in Scotland. Every year,
thousands of people visit. Why? Because of the
Loch Ness Monster!
There are a lot of stories about the Loch Ness
Monster. Some of them are hundreds of years
old. But the legend of Loch Ness didn’t become
famous until 1933. There was a newspaper story
about a strange animal in the lake. The animal
was very big, and it had a long neck.
So what is the Loch Ness Monster? One idea is
that the monster is really a dinosaur. Some people
think that this monster didn’t die 200 million years
ago with the other dinosaurs. They think it is safe in
Loch Ness!
But is the monster real? In 1934, a doctor from
London took a photo of the monster. But in the
1980s, people discovered the truth. The picture
didn’t show a monster – it was a toy!
A lot of people still believe in the monster.
