This is the first of our Bimonthly newsletters. Each edition will bring a little news about what is
happening at our salon and what our special offerings are. We are all ready to put our shovels
and boots away and start creating Bright and Beautiful looks for you!
First we have some very exciting news about and from Laurie Affleck, our color expert
and salon manager:
As some of you know over the past year I have been training, traveling, studying and working
hard to pursue my goal to become a Schwarzkopf Professional Educator. After all my hard
work I completed and passed my certification and I can now teach others whats new and what
makes me so passionate about what I do. I look forward to learning new techniques and about
the new products that our industry has to offer.
I feel like this is just the beginning for me to further excel at what I do! The next phase of my
education starts March 9th! I will be attending a four part training at Schwarzkopf Professionals
ASK Academy in Toronto Canada!! Over this year I will be attending four three day educational
and hands-on classes to acquire my Royal Master Colorist Certification. I'm very excited about
this opportunity and cannot wait to share with my co-workers and clients!

Message of advice:
Pain can negatively affect a person's quality of life and impede recovery from illness or injury. It
can be occasional, acute or chronic depending on whether the person has had an accident, is
suffering from musculoskeletal dysfunction or lack of movement or mobility.
