In the beginning there was but one concept, and that is the concept of I.
Ras Tafari, erasing all evil conception and wicked emotion, is the name of the most crowned Emperor
Qadamawi Haile Selassie, King of Kings of Ethiopia, Lord of Lords, Conquering Lion from the Tribe of
Judah, Elect of the Lord and of HIMSelf, Light of the World.
He is the Shadow of Righteousness and the Light of Wisdom, He is the Beginning and the End. Being
the Christ Eyesus (Jesus) returned according to prophecies, He is the rallying point of all mankind and of
all Scriptures, of all religions and cultures, He is the Completion of the Speech and of the World, all the
spirits recognize His sovereignity.
The King of all Kings labours for the sake of mankind to bring it back to the former and original state
of Unity and Prosperity, when there was but one tongue and one Nation, a United Nation. The Time of
Rastafari is the time of knowledge before vengeance, the time of Uni-Versity and a Time where wisdom
and knowledge in men grow to a point where they are able to rule over nature and to govern its laws, in
harmony with the peacefull plan of the Almighty Egziabhier. Education in modern knowledge and technology founded upon the understanding of the Ancient Faith of the Ancestors is the only way through
which men can come back to that status of kingship that was established by God in the beginning, when
He put Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden, which is I-­thiopia, to rule over all Creation, in the Fear of
the Most High and in the Love and Cooperation of each other.
His Majesty is the precious trainer of our souls, He heightens the senses and widens the mind of man in
order for him to welcome the ocean of sanctity which is the day to day reality of Regality: the Kingdom
of JAH.
In contemplating the HIMage of Qadamawi Haile Selassie, our Ababa-­Father, our eyes and mind are
brought back to the REMEMBERANCE of our true origin, which is bright blackness, utmost holiness
and coolness of the senses and of the heart. The rememberance of our true nature. Contemplating HIM
means to contemplate ourselves into a mirror, becoming a reflection of His Light and of His Own HIMage.
I and I herald an era of holiness, dignity and kingship FOR ALL, in the Image of JAH.

Greetings and Love in the Name of the King of Glory, the Only Begotten Son Iyasus Krestos who
dwelt 5500 years after the creation of the world within the womb of Denghel Maryam, and returned
in this 8th Millenium as Freedom Fighter and Rightful Judge over physical dominion, as Fulfillment and Crown of human exodus towards Salvation. He manifested Himself with the fullness of
His Red Wrath to break our chains, He purified this Golden Earthly Globe through Fire, and the
War he fought was not in vain.
Our respect and esteem is high for Your Community, passing through the great tribulation of this
time, facing one of the plagues described in the Book of Revelation with exemplary spirit of brotherhood and self-help. The pictures you kindly sent us are a good testimony of your excellent unity of
spiritual vision, mutual love, organization and centralization: you are manifesting Divine Kingdom
upon the Earth, and this dominion you established in Chile, around the Tabernacle, is a precious
heritage for the whole Rastafari Nation. We remember that Egypt plagues were conceived not to hit
the Israelites but wicked oppressors, to set the people free to return Motherland: after destruction
and sorrow, you are honorably rebuilding your society upon strong foundations of african solidarity
and spiritual life, for the benefit and pleasure of all brethren and sistren, world-wide.
Our spiritual and material support wants to be the acknowledgement of this shining example, and
in the same time the beginning of a new era of cooperation and love between our two different traditions, whose precious experiences should be shared and mutually harmonized, as far as we desire
to improve the quality of our livity, regarding mystical vibe, doctrinal vision, moral tone and actual
deeds of material service. Italy was the head of the rebellious nations against Jah and His Messiah,
but what has been prophesied by David is now visibile before our eyes: “The LORD shall send the
rod of thy strength out of Zion: rule thou in the midst of thine enemies.” I&I can clearly testify He
is Victorious, because He conquered our obedience, and we are now the Footstool of His feet. And
this obedience we owe unto Him, we want to manifest serving and loving the members of our Imperial Ethiopian People, trodding forward to Unity, which is Our Only Strength.
The Trinity of Jah is the First Image of this Freedom in I-nity we seek. In this Holy Day, our voices
of prayer and power are weaved with yours, and we hope this blessing could be everlasting, and
bear noble fruits.

Greetings in the Name of Our Lord the Father Egziabeher, Who in ancient times spoke through the
inspired tongue of the prophets; Greetings in the Name of Our Lord the Son, the Word Who made
flesh and walked among I&I as a perfect man; Greetings in the Name of the Holy Spirit who fills in
this day our bodily temple and sanctifies our meditation. We extend our deepest thanks-giving to
Jah Almighty and to all the I-dren who made this blessed event possible through prayers and efforts. We give thanks, also, for the opportunity to send this message and to read it during your Hola
Congregation, hoping it will be fruitful for our mutual love and brotherhood.

In order to move forward on the path set by His Imperial Majesty for the full and I-ternal Victory,
we have to achieve I-nity, because it is the source of the Strength we need, to make our voices heard
in the squares of Egypt, to leave captivity and walk towards the Promised Land of Ethiopia. This
I-nity means, spiritually, to reach a unitary churchical vision of the Divine Truth under the Spirit of
God, fulfilling the precept of the Scripture: “One Lord, One Faith, One Baptism” and defending the
Orthodox Culture; also, I-nity has a material significant meaning, implying the Organization and
Centralization of our movement in accordance with the social Law of the King, “to correct abuses,
relieve oppression and carve for ourselves and our posterity, a destiny comparable with our idea
of perfect manhood and God’s purpose in creating us; that we may not only save ourselves from
annihilation, but carve for ourselves a place in the Sun”. We can move forward on this way only
through honest and fair reasoning, listening in humbleness and without illegitimate pride the direct

modern Word of His Majesty, starting from the basic common point that He is our Ras – Head, and
we must think like He thinks, and work like He works. Also, tolerance is a fundamental value in
this journey, because to forgive the sins of the others and be patient is the only way to make them
tolerate ours and be patient with us. We know that you are totally conscious of this, and the existence of RWA and its honorable service, that we highly esteem, is the testimony that we are walking
now the same streets of glory.
Although we had and have brotherly relations with several members of your noble Community,
and our two realities are bound by a sincere feeling of respect, we had not the opportunity to seriously work on the field of International Cooperation, which is a natural expression of I&I concept.
In particular, our two nations come from a common tragic history against the Prince of Peace, so
we also share a common historical ground of redemption and prophetical destiny in HIM. These
two nations, invited to recognize in 1930 the Dignity of the Black King, and blessed by the visit
of His Majesty, have an important role in the plan of Jah and their own peculiar spiritual and temporal wealth, that is good to put at disposal of our worthy brethren to gain a higher general level
of knowledge and growth; moreover, they have the responsibility to achieve the continental and
world citizenship preached by Jahnoy, and to be an example of livity that overcomes every petty
prejudice. For this reason, we ask you to consider as an important matter, for our internal and external wellbeing, the relations between our institutions, in order to fully create one thing from two:
not imposing doctrines or interfering with the affairs of the other, but establishing a fair and just
dialogue between equals, each one teach one. As a first step, it would be a joy for us to welcome a
chosen and qualified delegation during our Coronation Gathering, and to discuss in that occasion
the first questions.
Waiting trustfully for your response, we wish you a vibes-full Celebration in One Perfect Love,
and we thank you again for your kindness and availability.

Greetings in the Name of our August Emperor Haile Selassie the First, Who received the Crown of
the Earth after the Crown of the Heaven, Who is One in Person and Nature in His First and Second
Coming as One are Knowledge and Power, Beginning and Fulfillment.
The cup of our mind and heart is full in this day, celebrating the time when the cup of history
has been filled to its climax, the crown of the redemption path, announcing freedom to the Globe,
from chains of physical and political slavery. The King of Kings was born in the year of Qeddus
Yohannes, the young Apostle Who saw His Glory in vision and wrote Revelation, in order to give
I images and prophecies to be recognized. This Apostle was the One who placed his ear upon the

chest of Christ, and heard his mystical heart-beat, secrets which were hidden to his brethren. He
heard the sound of two beats, one introducing, one fulfilling, a New Song he described in his own
book. “Thy Kingdom Come” is said in amharic “Menghisteh Timtà”, and “Timtà”, “Timtà” he
heard, foreseeing the glorious Majesty of Christ and the healing of the Earth, being also the H-earth
of the I-niverse.
This Holy Kingdom that has been set, Menghest, is the manifestation of the Holy Spirit, Menfes,
and His ultimate presence among men, within men, as unifying and santifying power under the
guidance of Jah. Your Sacred Congregation, pervaded by the wisdom of the Lord and sense of Divine Triune I-nity, is the actualization of what has been stated by the mouth of Joel the Prophet:
“And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and
your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old
men shall dream dreams.”
A direct vision now we have, able to know Egziabeher Tsebaoth in flesh, his mistical Face, His
powerful hand, so that we can perfect faith by knowledge and science.
We have a Royal Priesthood, we are a Kingly Israelitic Nation, a peculiar people who is destined
to share the Imperial Dignity of the Emperor, to be members of His Royal Family and rule with
Him, establishing here and now Equal Rights and Justice, guiding history towards his natural des7

tination, higher and higher glory. “Blessed are the meek, for they shall inherit the earth”, Iyasus
Krestos spoke without deceit, and we have the privilege to live in this age, when we see the Land
of Jahnoy that has been promised to our fathers, but they were not allowed to see. This is not a
fleeting illusion to be pursued, no more: this is a living reality. What has once been called Utòpia,
now reveals herself as Ethiopia, and repatriation is at hand, is a must, because no man can change
what Their Majesties have said in the Beginning: “Ethiopian earth you are, and to Ethiopian Earth
you shall return”.
The return to the Ethiopian Beginning is the return to Original Black Oness, when man lived in
Edenic Africa with intact faith, vision, culture, and sensitivity, with pure language and physical
vigour to rule the creation. Blackness we find in the highness of the sky and in the depth of our
Mother, Medr, the Earth, and the adoration of Black God should be our Strong Foundation to be
members of a New Race, to restore the original image of man, created in the likeness of Jah. Fleeing
away from western emisphere white illusions, we can re-establish unity of mind and hand reigning
in ancient times, before Babylon Tower confusion and artificial boundaries division, when we were
scattered beyond the sea and far from the House of the Father, among impurity and wildness.
As it is written in chapter 30 of the Venerable Kebra Negast, Solomon saw the presence of Christ
in the shape of the Sun, being fought in Jerusalem and then kingly shining over Ethiopia and over
Rom and its old empire. It has been thus prophesied the spreading of salvation and redemption
among the gentiles, the extension of a righteous New Empire over the past enemies and the Inification of two peoples, black and fair, under Ethiopian Crown. Our faith, our coscience and our
gatherings are testifying the Word of Trodition is True, and through this Spirit of I-nity we should
move again and again, like a people undivided and endowed with freedom and equality before the
Law, ready for the Exodus of I Lord.
Let we unite, in this deeep time, our voices and our desire, let we work to be free different members
of One Body, guided by One Head Ras TafarI, I&I. There are false people, trying to spread false
propaganda, being full of judgments against deeds and ideas, and in the same time full of ignorance
and sin in themselves, who try to slow down the unavoidable course of History towards One, and
the pure good-will of many to establish sound cooperation between our communities, and work for
complete spiritual and material communion. As we well know, this is the only way for Strength, in
Knowledge and Love.
We express our utmost esteem and respect for your efforts and the good fruits of your trees, and
we pray this could be a solid basis for a further common sharing of human richness and clean
vibration. We ask in humbleness to gather, and face together these serious and mysterious times,
when Universal Fatherhood of God and Equal Brotherhood of Man are so precious and I-tal. In

The same Name of His Majesty, Selassie-Trinity, is considered the First of the Five Pillars of the Ethiopian Faith, whose knowledge is thus essential to have a complete vision of our fathers tradition and to
gain the full mystic of the Role of RasTafarI, Who came to fulfill and not to abolish the Past Revelations
and Prophets. We present here the first part of the Ethiopian “Prayer of the Faith” (ጸሎተ ፡ ሃይማኖ
ት - Tzelote >Aymanot) also known as “Creed of Nicea-Constantinople”, which was elaborated during
the first Christian Apostolic Councils and which is liturgically confessed in Ethiopia as a foundation of
the orthodox theological culture. Beyond doctrine, we will offer a linguistic explanation of the content,
because ge’ez ovastanding Constitutes another important side of the conception cleansing we desire to
reach.

Before the royal ritual began, the Archibishop, Abuna Qerillos, approached with a gospel bound in gold
and asked Us to complete the following words of the oath: That we should strengthen the orthodox faith
which had remained steadfast in Ethiopia from the days of the holy kings Abreha and Asbeha and that We
should keep, without disturbance, the laws and ordinances which the orthodox Church has laid down.

Tongues
In the beginning Humanity was created One,
unified in faith, national culture and speech.
Before the falling of Babylon Tower, the confusion of tongues and the creation of artificial boundaries over earth surface, whose fullness belongs to Jah, it is written “And all the earth was one lip,
and there was one language to all” (Genesis 11, 1). This common natural way of communication
was given by Jah to Adam in the beginning, thus it was not based on conventional rules and human
inventions, but it was the natural expression of things and able to evoke their essence.
It is evident that Ethiopic, being the linguistical tradition of the most ancient nation of the world
and the first dwelling of Man, and also the same language of Nimrod, who, according to the Bible,
was world ruler at that time and son of Ethiopia, is the keeper of this extraordinary cultural wealth
useful for the rightful ovastanding and administration of reality and social relations.
The word “ge’ez” means “free”, because it is not merely the historical fruit of human passions
and pacts, like pagan speaking, but it comes from the absolute science of Jah and perfectly corresponds to all things, as sound and design of their substances. Otherwise, pagan languages, coming
out Babylon sin, are full of confusion and illusion, double like the tongue of the dragon serpent,
contradictory. The study and contemplation of this cultural aspect play an important role for the
Earthical Liberation in RasTafari, as its main aim is to restore the primordial Global Inity and
World Citizenship, removing the rule of Babylon. In this respect, we remind that article 125 of
Ethiopian Imperial Constitution establish Amharic as official language of the Empire, remarking
this element as a pillar of Our Empire. This fullfills the Prophecy of Zephaniah 3, 9: “For then will
I turn to the people a pure language, that they may all call upon the Name of the Lord, to serve him
with one consent”.

Considering Ethiopic as perfect Divine language, we can trace several specific properties of communication which create a fullness of sense and reveal a system of orthodox thinking and values,
giving unto the scholar the opportunity to redeem the mind and purify it from babylon miseducation. Our language is composed by two different levels of message, the phonetic (thus related to
sound and pronounciation) and the graphic (thus related to written signs), and uniquely as regards
Ethiopic, this two plans are totally unified in the symbolic evocation of their meaning, manifesting
in I-nity what pagan languages still keep, but in fragmentation and under confusion. Having in
one the powers of all the languages of the earth, Ethiopic presents itself as the Original and Eldest
Tongue of Adam and his sons.
1. A correct and meditated pronounciation of the signs is able to symbolically indicate the conceptual content of the meant thing. This is what is called “ideophonetic”
function.
2. Pronunciation can simulate the natural sound of the meant thing. This is what is
called “onomatopoeic” function.
3. Pronunciation can describe, through vibration, the “shape” of the meant thing.
This is what is called “phono-graphic” function.
4. Meditation upon graphic symbols can expose the same pronunciation technique. This is what is called “grapho-phonetic” function.
5. Written signs are able to symbolically indicate the conceptual content of the
meant thing. This function is called “ideographic”.
6. Signs present the natural design of the meant thing, and this function is called
“pictographic”.
7. This speech is valid for the analysis of the single elements as well for the composed sound or scripture, not only within the context of the basic word, but even in
more complex linguistic spaces, e.g. the entire vibe of a Biblical Chapter and Psalm.

within the Ethiopian Tradition and Bible Version describes both the “Queendom” of corruption, in

Blackness was over the abyss (...) And the Spirit of Jah overshadowed the
abyss. And Jah said, Let be light, and there was light. (Genesis, 1:2-3)
Back to the Roots, to the Beginning, we find Black. Biblically, Blackness is said to exist before
Bright.
And God divided between the Light and the Blackness. (Genesis 1:4)
Light come out Blackness, like Woman come out the Man. Blackness is a symbol of the Father,
Black comes First, Light comes Second. They are equal in dignity and sharing the same common Origin, but with different roles. This is the Divine Natural Order of Black Supremacy we
have to respect.
There was evening and there was morning, one day. (Genesis 1:5)
This is the reason why we Ethiopians count the time starting from sunset. Even in Babilon,
them count time starting from midnight, not from daylight. Jah established the rightful symbolic order within our time perception, in order to continuously remind I this mistery.
And Jah said, Let Us make man according to our Image and Likeness.

Although He is a pure Spirit, Jah has an Eternal Human Image, colour and form. This is an important and peculiar Ethiopian Orthodox traditional concept, also known among the western
scholars as “ethiopian antropomorphism”.
It is said about Christ, being the Visible Image of the Invisible God, that His feet are like
“shining bronze” (Revelation 1:15), then respecting the Divine Order of Beauty manifested in
Creation, Jah is Shining Blackness, Light Out His Black Substance, He is Black and Bright.
And Jah formed the man of dust of the earth, and breathed upon his face
the breath of life... (Genesis 2:7)
To create man, Egziabhier took the black dust of the black fertile Edom Ethiopian Earth, and
moulded it. He created a Black Ethiopian Man, according to His Image and Likeness. Ethiopian Trodition tells Adam and Hewan were naked, but covered with a garment of light. Black
and Bright.
Obviously, being Christ the new and perfect Adam, He would reveal Himself as Black Shining
Ethiopian.
And a river proceeds out of Edom to water the Garden, thence it divides
itself into four heads (...) the name of the second river is Ghion, this it is
which encircles the whole land of Ethiopia. (Genesis, 2:10-13)
According to Black Supremacy, Ethiopia is the first national Name of Edom (Eden), the Original
Land of Man. Ethiopia is the First Nation, still visible in our modern Atlas, quoted in the Bible, and
even Havilah, the first place quoted, is said to be son of Ethiopia (1 Chronicles 1:9).
The Bible teaching about the african-ethiopian nature of Edenic Dwelling of Man has been
scientifically proven, even the heathen declare the same. Thus Ethiopia is the first land of Revelation and Garden of Delight which has been promised to the rightful people.

him a help, according to him. (Genesis 2:18)
The necessary complementary role of woman, and, within his maternal symbol, of the community. This condition is even present, in more invisible and inner form, among monks and
ascetics.
However, man has been alone for a week, differently from woman, who formed the couple.
From a moral point of view, this teaches the highest man autonomy and his specific charisma
to be head of the family. Simbolically, man is figure of Spiritual Individuality, while woman is
the Kingdom of Flesh.
This is also a prophecy about the revelation of Christ God the Son, Who is not alone, but
coupled with a Perfect Woman Who is Essential for the Complete Fulfillment of Human Redemption.
Jah took the earth of Edom (Eden), Etiopia: thus, we are all flesh of Ethiopia, our Mother.
Egziabhier did not create man alone, from nothing, but through the Earth, the Mother. In the
image of Egziabhier moulding the Earth, we see the King caressing the Queen, Who generates sons and dawtas through love.
And they heard the voice of Jah walking in the Garden. (Genesis 3:8)
Jah walked in Ethiopia, His First Dwelling, manifesting His proximity to the life of man, and
the Holy I-nity Adam broke with his disobedience. Prophetically, Jah would return to walk in
the Garden of His Ethiopian Palace - Gennete Leul, Garden of the Most High - to be near to
man, again.
“For Earth you are and to Earth you shall return”. (Genesis 3:19)
If man was made out of Edom Earth, and Edom is Ethiopia, this commandment of Jah is a
description of redemption as repatriation, as return to the Land where we come from and the
re-establishing of the Original Way of Life.
Finally, this suggests I the circular vision of Divine Creation, Mirror of Divine Power. Beginning
and End are the same, because going forward we find the first start again, like a perfect
circle. Evening, then Morning, then Evening again. Black, then Light, then Black Again.

It is good to reflect about that passage of Saint John Revelation, we all know, being
the foundation of our faith in His Majesty as Returned Christ, i.e. the Chapter 5, Verse 5:
“The Lion of the Tribe of
Judah hath prevailed”.
It is written before and after, immediately after that passage, that the Lion of the
Tribe of Judah, the One Who Prevailed, is the same Lamb Who was slain. Thus, in
the same place of the Holy Scripture, Christ is called in two different ways, identified with two different animals. These are the Lamb and the Lion, and they are
two extremely dense symbols of Christical ministeries, in His First and Second
Coming, their specific wealth and their mutual relation. We can learn much just
meditating upon these two figures.
What we can easely notice, which is really important from a theological point of
view, is that the One mentioned as the King of King and Lord of Lords, the Lion
of Judah, is also called “Slain Lamb”. In another place of the same Revelation, the
King of Kings and Lord of Lords would be called “The Word of God”. He is called
Word of God in reference to the Divinity of the Son, clearly described in the first
chapter of the Gospel of John, so that we realize Qadamawi Haile Selassie has the
same Divinity of the Son, made flesh within the womb of Virgin Mariam, the same
Divinity of Iyasus Krestos. Similarly, it is called Sacrificed Lamb so that we realize
He owns the same Humanity of Iyasus Krestos, because He is the same Lamb who
died. Thus, he owns the Flesh that died and rose again. In this way, the Scripture
tells I He has the Same Divinity and the Same Humanity of Iyasus Krestos. It is
important to not divide what Jah united, and confess the fullness of the personal
identity between the First and the Second Coming.
Secondly, meditating about the figure of the Lamb and the Lion, we realize how
the first, symbol of the First Coming, is a fundamental animal for liturgical and
spiritual service. The Lamb is sacrificed to expiate the sins of men, according to the
Law of Moses. While the Lion is a symbol of royalness, the animal which rules its
peers with mistical ovastanding, commanding, being the image of command. The
lamb is a sweet animal, which offers his own life without resistance: in this same
manner, Iyasus Krestos offered his own life to us on the Cross, he surrendered as

a silent sheep in the hands of those who crucified Him. The Lion is a predator, it is
an animal that sheds the blood of other animals, that devours, that conquers: in
this same way, the Lord Qadamawi Haile Selassie won the war against the antichrist, he defeated in arms, in accordance with the prophecies of the Revelation,
the power of the wicked. He physically, fleshically eradicated the evil progeny,
and thanks to His conquest, his military victory, we are now free: he broke our
material, physical and political chains.
The lamb is not an adult animal, but young, while the Lion is an adult. In fact,
the Lord Iyasus Krestos died at the age of 33 years, during his full youngness,
while Qadamawi Haile Selassie is the symbol of his longevity. It is written: “He
asked life of thee, and thou gavest it him, even length of days for ever and ever”
(Psalm 21:4). God the Father gave to the Son a life without end because of His
sacrifice on the cross, and this sacrifice was renouncing to a long life, breaking a
young existence, who was repaid by an eternal resurrection.
The Lamb does not couple, he is youthful and virgin, he does not reach the adult
age to couple. In this same way, the Lord Iyasus Krestos, showing the exemplary
character of priesthood and the highest ascetism, He was virgin in his spirit and
in his body. Instead, the Lion is a coupling animal, he has a lioness, a family, sons
and daughters. In this same way, the Lord Qadamawi Haile Selassie married our
Most Holy Empress Menen, united His flesh to Her flesh, He generated with Her
according to flesh, because this is the time when He has to establish man as His
son physically, not only spiritually, He redeems man in flesh, uniting His perfect
flesh to the creature’s.
The Lamb is bright dressed. Lion is red-kakhi dressed. Lamb’s noise is a lamentation, a cry, the Lion noise is a powerful roaring, but also a kind a glorious laugh.
Even this one element is really important, and lets I meditate upon another part of
that Revelation verse. It is ordered unto John: “do not cry”. Do no cry. The time of
lamentation, plea and humbleness is concluded, and now starts that of majesty,
glory, laugh and roaring.
It is written: “Jah shall wipe away all tears from their eyes”.Tears are a symbol of
Iyasus Baptism of water, the drying of tears is a symbol of the Fyah Baptism the
King administers now. And now we contemplate the fullness of life, we see the
Alpha and Omega, the Lord is all in all. It is written “all” referring to the Heaven,
“in all” referring to the Earth.
It is also written, also: “those who cry shall laugh”. What we are called to do, in
this time, it to take the fruit of 2000 years of trials and tribulations, made by heathen against true and original Christianity. Now original Christianity reaches the
government, the glory. Now the Lord laughs,
He has them in derision, as it is written in the
Psalm: He laughs from Mount Zion.
This is the time in which we find evil, yes, but
Good is up. Good ova evil. Good is up, no
more down. Now we ovastand. And it is morally important to be conscious of this mistery.
Often, we nurture a pessimistic vision of existence and present condition, while we have
the power to change what we do not like in

this world, knowing it is ours, it belongs to us, not to them. It is written that righteous would inherit the Earth: this is the heritage the King left unto I, because the
heritage of the Lion belongs to the son of the Lion.
Take what is yours, this is the principle. Do not lament everyday. How has been
said by our prophetical brother, Ras Berhane Selassie Robert Marley, “if you get
down and you quarrel everyday, you say praises to the devil, I say”. We should
ovastand this is not the time to cry, but to enjoy; this is not the time to suffer, but
to conquer.
Today, We have read this is also the time when “The wolf shall dwell with the
lamb” and “the calf and the young lion and the fatling together; and a little child
shall lead them”.This passage, of course, indicates that Kingdom of cosmic, universal, natural peace which the Lord Haile Selassie introduce us to. In this Kingdom, the animals, too, shall be redeemed by our human redemption, if we work
in accordance with the precept of the King and establish a Kingdom of Freedom,
Peace and Justice, if we use our hands, again strong as it was in the beginning,
because He made them strong – not only our mind is now strong, but our hands
also - if we use the hands the Almighty made strong, we can really change every
desert in Eden, Gennet Edom. In this Garden, also the animals, influenced by our
righteousness, shall find their original serenity, what they lost because of our sin.
Seeing His Majesty, His Garden, where dogs and lions co-existed, seeing the picture of the King where the dove calmly dwells with the hound, we see the promised riches, what the Lord leaves us to inherit. But the dwelling together of Wolf
and Lamb, Lion and Calf, and by consequence of Lion and Lamb, signifies also
the contemplation of the fullness of Qadamawi Haile Selassie, because He is the
Being where Lamb and Lion cohabit. Now there is no more separation between
Heaven and Earth: there never was separation, but now we find a perfect, total,
absolute equality. Everything is reconciled, every sin has been removed, every
curse erased. Jah Will is done in Heaven as on Earth. In Heaven as on Earth.
The Lion and the Lamb dwell together, in HIM. He is the Ultimate Mediator, the
Diplomatic, The One who brings I unto the Fullness of Alpha and Omega in One
Being. In Him Priesthood and Kingdom co-exist, without division nor confusion.
Without conflicts.This peace, the peace of all worlds, peace between our inner and
our external world, peace between Church and Kingdom, peace between Heaven
and Earth, cosmic, universal, total, we have received in heritage.
This is the time when history repeats itself, as His Majesty teaches. History has repeated itself with His Coming, has returned with Christ, with all her characters, as
mirrored in the First Coming. The Second Coming is a Mirror of the First, and vice
versa. This is a riddim, a wholistic riddim, like a Binghi, two beats of Binghi, an
eternal Repeat. This repeat, this riddim, is also
our redemption. Riddim, Redeem. This historical repeating is the pacification of history, is
the closing circle, is the fullness. This peace
we must keep, we must realize this time, this
blessing. We must be conscious of our priestly
kindred, of our royal lineage: we can be perfect
priests and kings, we can administer a Royal
Priesthood, and a Priestly Kingdom.

Concerning her conception (of Jesus, one source) says (that the annunciation took place) while
she was fetching water; (another) says (it was) thile she was at Joseph’s house; (and a third)
says (it was) while she was in the Temple. If one asks how is that, (the answer is that) all have
happened.
(One day) she went to fetch water with the virgins of Israel. While returning with the water she
had fetched, she met a thirsty dog. She gave it water to drink in her shoe. This is one (of her
deeds) that earned her the appellation “tender-hearted”. The virgins said to her (mockingly),
“Sister! Ah this much tender-heartedness! They say that in these days God will be born of a
virgin. Could it be from you?” Immediately after that the angel came and said to her, “You shall
conceive.” She proceeded ignoring (the voice). When she came home and put down the water, he
said to her, “You shall conceive.” Saying (to herself), “This matter came to me repeatedly; let me
go to the Temple and understand it,” she set out, taking with her the silk and gold which she was
spinning., (her portion as) divided among the virgins of Israel. As she was sitting in the Temple
spinning the silk and gold in combination, an angel came and said to her, “You shall conceive.”
She said to him, “How will this happen to me, seeing that I know not a man?” It is not doubting
that Our Lady said this. As (one source) says, “The Virgin said this because human thought did
not ascend her heart. It is her (way of saying) , ‘How will this happen? Personally, I will never do
this [knowing a man].’ “ Then, he said to her, “The Holy Spirit of God shall come upon you.” She
said to him, “Let it be for me as you said to me.” Taking these words of hers as an incitement, the
Only One, the Word of God, was engraved in her womb by the fingers of the Holy Spirit.

Ras Kwintaseb Mihirete Selassie
Ras Kwintaseb Mihirete Selassie is an honorable
elder living and working in Shashamane, Ethiopia, together
with his Ethiopian wife and children. Musician and teacher
of high experience and ability, he is known worldwide to
be an important and wise figure of two remarkable movies, ideated and directed by Ethiopian Film-maker, Tikher
Teffera.
The first of these movies is called “Back to My Roots”, describing the repatriation achievements of Ras Kwintaseb
and his Ethiopian life, proposing many deep meditations
from his mouth. The second work is “Man of the Millennium”: it is dedicated to the brilliant spiritual and historical
Personality of the King of Kings, with a particular reflection about the disaster brought
by the Derg/Dragon Communist regime and the dramatic loss of strength and dignity
by the Ethiopian people, after the so-called “deposition” of the Everlasting Sovereign.
In this latter, Ras Kwintaseb introduces himself and speaks about RastafarI faith and
livity. We are persuaded that on this occasion he offers an important elderly teaching,
which deserves to be transcribed here and carefully meditated. We deeply thank Ras
Kwintaseb for this opportunity of collaboration.

Ras Kwintasebs chants one of his most famous songs, Riding on Lions, telling about an
important apparition of His Majesty, at Entoto Mariam, generally recognized by Ethiopian people.
It was in Entoto, before congregations of Orthodox people, as a matter of worth, who
know that place of miracolous, so if this kind of sign would be reported out of Shashamani, people might of said I “they see what they want to see”.
Emperor Haile Selassie is not a Man Who is hidden from the world. In His own, He was
acknowledged to be one of the most famous men in his own time. From my own experience of His Majesty, as a small boy I first heard of Emperor Haile Selassie as the King
of Africa and as the Winner of the World War. It was acknowledged that through HIM
the concept of Africa really still existed, the OAU had just been put in the place by His
Majesty. He had gone to the United Nations in New York and he deposited the Charter
with them, He had been received with a standing ovation, He had the credits of President Kennedy, the accolades of President Kennedy, who had said ‘There is no other hero
like this for us at present’. We leaders of the world all grew in the shadow of this Man,

Emperor Haile Selassie I.
It is a prophecy, coming from Bible times, it is a fulfillment of Revelation and it is a beginning of what is called “Judgment Time”, really the new world that must come, the new
Earth and the new Heavens, it is a sign, that just before that time there would come one
called the King of Kings, the Lord of Lords, and the Conquering Lion of the Tribe of Judah,
Who the whole world would see, every eye would see Him. They would make war upon
Him, the nations of the world, but He would establish His Kingdom having defeated them.
He would send out the sign from the Mountain of Tzion, for the nations to gather.
That information is in the Holy Bible, it is in the Kebre Negast also, it is the book of Enoch,
also. The book of Enoch is present in the Amharic Bible, but it is one of those books
which is taken out of the western Bible. So the Book of Enoch tells us also that when the
Lord in His Glory and His Goodness sits amongst the people as King, He would sit on
High Mountains, it actually tells you of seven mountains and he says Jah would sit in the
middle one.
I&I proclaim Him to the world as the Messiah...
They tell us to look for Him, to look for the Christ, so we find Him when we see and know
Who Emperor Haile Selassie is as the Lion of Judah, the Will of that Divine Power. So that
Divine Power is what I&I see, as I&I force bringing us home to Ethiopia, to Africa, that
home of the Ark of the Covenant.
The Ark of the Covenant is always been said to be in Ethiopia, no other nation claims it,
as a matter of fact, for the last 3000 years. The scattered children of the earth, cause we
are told from every tribe, every family, every tongue, every nation, the people will gather,
in the Mount Zion.
So that is I&I Covenant with this King of Kings, when he comes.
So that is how we see His Majesty as that man that call us in.
So His Majesty is that Word, His Majesty is the Word in this time.
His Majesty said: “My glory is in the Bible”. The Bible tells us that the time would come
when a King of Kings sits on the Throne of David, Who is acknowledged with this titles,
King of Kings, Lord of Lords, Conquering Lion of the Tribe of Judah. The flag of Ethiopia
bears, the true flag, the Lion of Judah on it, because the prophecy is cleared by Ethiopia.
This Throne of David and this Lion of Judah who represents the set, Christ. Christ didn’t
write anything at all, it was those who had faith in Him who decided after a long time to
really be able to get this information down somehow.
The title Neguse Negast, Gataoch Geta, Moa Anbesa Ze Menegede Yehouda, Seyoum
Egziabhier, Berhane Alem, YeTzion Negus, you see? He is the King of Zion, that means
the Holy Mountain that is prophecied in the Bible. At that time there was no Israel existing,

not there because the were all colonized. So here was the whole Earth coming into the
heart of darkest Africa were there was supposed to be no civilization or whatsoever,
to give the bow down before the King on the Throne of David. So the message that His
Majesty to them is “I am the King of Kings, and the Lord of Lords, the Conquering Lion of
the Tribe of Judah”.
Question: Some people are saying in this time Haile Selassie is dead. What do you say
about that?
Our concept is that the fullness of faith, and the love of the Almighty for humanity... We
are told that some, we have examples of prophets and great spiritual figures who we are
told - these things have been long time ago - but we are told they did not pass through
death, or they conquered death.
He said that they’re arresting in Ethiopia right now anyone who looks, anyone who resembles Emperor Haile Selassie, he’s been arrested. I have more details since I am coming in

make that move...
The pattern in the Bible is the same, when Christ was buried presupposedly in His tomb,
he was found to be there is no body, they couldn’t find the body. The rulers said: “Oh
no, the people will say that He is Living, that he has
conquered death. They knew what would happen
because the man said He would do it an now we
can’t prove he’s dead. So at that time they couldn’t
prove. They said he’s buried in a secret place. In
an untold grave, in an unmarked grave as a form
of disgrace to His name.
And then there are other reports that came out too.
As these things you cannot ever stiffle them. There
is the report of His Majesty going into Estifanos
church at Meskel Day to pray, after He has now
been taken into like a house arrest by the Derg
government. He went into Estifanos. In Estifanos He
was allowed to go into a small place to pray by
himself and He never came out of there. So that
after a time the guards came to look for Him and
He had disappeared...

During the Royal Ministry of the Lord many important books,
about the tradition and culture of the Holy Land, were printed,
even in foreign languages. We recommend here
“The Ethiopian Orthodox Church”
published in english by “The Ethiopian Orthodox Mission” in
1970, at Addis Ababa, with the approval of the “Holy Trinity
Cathedral” Dean, Lique Siltanat Habte Mariam Workneh. This
is a work officially produced by the Ethiopian Church in a time
of full devotion towards the King, and it is very useful to ovastand the Orthodox Faith. Beyond the doctrinal and theological
information, we can find there many historical and political notions related to the Emperor, expressed from a churchical point
of view. We report as following the pages 8-10 (Chapter One
- Government of the Church - Some Historical Data).
His place was taken by Menelik II who succeeded in subduing the country and in
freeing it from the anarchy into which it had fallen. In this he was assisted by the
Italians who had by this time installed themselves in the colony of Eritrea on the
shores of the Red Sea. The goodwill between Menelik and his Europeans patrons
was not lasting. A war soon broke out between them. It ended in 1896 by a disaster
to the Italian army at Adwa. Menelik united Ethiopia under one rule, built the new
capital Addis Ababa, doubled the size of the Empire, conquered many Galla tribes,
pushed the modernization of the Empire like Theodros did, played diplomacy to the
best, made Europeans and America recognize Ethiopia as a great nation, equal to
them and in some respects better, accepted foreign embassies, permitted Missionaries to preach the Gospel, pardoned the defeated Italians and allowed them to keep
Eritrea as their colony, made treaties with France, Russia and Britain, built a railway
from Djibuti to Addis, constructed roads, built schools and hospitals, introduced
a postal system, hotels, sewing machines, shoes, a brick factory, cinema, printing
press, bicycles, cars; established a mint, established a Bank of Ethiopia, reorganized
the taxation system, and established the first cabinet of Ministers. Lidj Eyassu succeeded Menelik and was succeeded by Princess Zawditu with Ras Tafari as Regent
and heir to the throne.
The dyarchy of the Empress Zauditu and the young Regent was a difficult and
delicate arrangement but it brought peace and prosperity to Ethiopia. Zauditu was
conservative in her outlook, while Ras Tafari was forward-looking and progressive.
As Regent and Emperor he has shown remarkable feeling for the pace of reform and
progress at which the country could move without disturbance or upheaval.
In 1923 Ras Tafari succeeded in securing the admission of Ethiopia to the League
of Nations and in the following year he visited Rome, Paris and London. In 1928
he assumed the title of Negus. When the Empress Zauditu died in 1930, Ras Tafari

prevailed over all. He was crowned Emperor in St. George’s Church, Addis Ababa, in
November and took the name of Haile Selassie (‘might of the Trinity’).
The late President John F. Kennedy of the United States hailed Emperor Haile
Selassie as a man “whose place in history is already assured”. The progress that has
been achieved in present-day Ethiopia under his leadership is astounding. Upon
his enthronement the old-fashioned feudal structure was made to yield to one based
on law. The country’s first written Constitution was granted, a bicameral parliament
emerged. The country’s tax structure has been up-date and the judiciary streamlined; corporation, banking and investment laws - there, and other activities that
spring from modern constitutional reforms, mark the difference between the old and
new Ethiopia. Particularly significant is the advance made in education. While the
Emperor was carrying through the programme which he had initiated as Regent,
the Fascist regime in Italy launched an unprovoked attack on Ethiopia. The period
of occupation had upset all development plans. Immediately on his restoration the
wise statesman plunged into the twin task, in the completion of which he has never
relaxed his efforts.
Of great significance is the achievement of the auto-cephalous status which the
Ethiopian Church now enjoys. From very early times the chief of the Ethiopian
Church, the Abuna, was chosen by the Coptic Patriarch of Alexandria. Ethiopia,
therefore, had an expatriate primate who wielded supreme ecclesiastical power in
an alien country with whose language, culture, and psychology he rarely became
acquainted.
The Emperor led a strong movement to bring this situation to an end. From 1941 he
conducted the negotiations that continued for ten years. In 1951 complete religious
independence was proclaimed with Abuna Basileos as the Head of the Church.
The future of the country is bright when one watches the enthusiasm and pride with
which the Ethiopians, led by a remarkable Emperor, are building their country and
developing its resources. On the occasion of the return of the five Ethiopian bishops
from Alexandria in 1948, when they were anointed and consacrated by the Patriarch
of the Egyptian Coptic Church, His Imperial Majesty made this significant statement:
“It is necessary that the progress which Ethiopia
accomplishes be harmonised with her Faith. Where
there is no faith in a civilization but only power, that
civilization is surrounded with doubt and fear and
its power expresses itself in brutality.”
