Anointing of the Sick
Monday, April 4
The Sacrament of the Anointing of the Sick is administered on the first
Monday of the month immediately after the 6:00 p.m. Mass, or by
appointment with a priest at any time. All who are sick or suffering are
invited to receive anointing.
Eucharistic Adoration Schedule Changes
We will not have Eucharistic Adoration on Tuesday, April 4 because of the
St. Jude School spring break. Adoration is held every Tuesday from 8:00
a.m. until 6:00 p.m. during the school year in the Church. We invite you to
come spend time in the presence of the Lord. Volunteers are needed for 30

EMHC Training
Saturday, April 16
An Extraordinary Minister of Holy Communion (EMHC) is a layperson who
assists the priest with Holy Communion distribution on
Sundays, during daily Masses, and on special feast days
throughout the year.
The last training sessions for the spring will be held on
Saturday, April 16 from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. in the
Stapleton Center. Everyone is welcome to attend

2016 Altar Server Apprentice Class Formation
We are gearing up for 0ur 2016 Altar Server Apprentice Class! In order to
be eligible, a child must be a member of a registered parish family, a third
grader (as of Spring 2016) or older and have received the sacraments of
Baptism, Reconciliation and First Eucharist. Combined parent and child
information meetings are scheduled for Monday, April 25 or Wednesday,
May 4 at 7:00 p.m. in the Ministry Hall. Candidates are also required to
attend a “show and tell” training session in June and a “demonstration
day” in July. The altar server commissioning and reception is scheduled

Vacation Bible School - Registration Deadline - April 30
Our Vacation Bible School, Birthday Blast,

about the Seven Deadly Sins, those great spiritual blocks

“Love Never Fails.” Thank you to those

to this year’s Archbishop’s Annual
Appeal. To date, we have received 56%
toward our goal of $196,820. For those
who have not yet pledged, please remember the Archdiocese returns
100% of any overage back to our parish. If we do not reach our goal, we
are required to make up the shortfall from our operating funds. To

STARVE WARS!
2016 Eucharistic Congress
This year the Eucharistic Congress
will kick off with a Friday morning
meal packing event – STARVE
WARS! Six hundred and fifty
volunteers of all ages are needed to
help pack 100,000 meals to go to the
impoverished developing country of
Burkina Faso in Africa. The event
will take place on Friday, June 3 at the
Georgia International Convention
Center in College Park. There will be
two sessions, 9:00 a.m. - 10:30 a.m. and
11:00 a.m.- 12:30 p.m. in Hall A of the
Convention Center. Space is limited.

Special Second Collection – Holy Land

collection requested by Pope Francis, this annual collection offers a

íntimo da Minha Misericórdia e está aprovada nas profundezas da Minha
compaixão. Toda alma que crê e confia na Minha Misericórdia irá

Sobre o Terço da Divina Misericórdia:
Jesus Cristo ditou a Irmã Faustina o Terço da Misericórdia Divina em
Vilna, nos dias 13-14 de setembro de 1935, como uma oração para aplacar a
ira divina e pedir perdão pelos nossos pecados e pelos pecados do mundo
inteiro. "Oh! que grandes graças concederei às almas que recitarem esse
Terço" (D. 848). "Por ele conseguirás tudo, se o que pedires estiver de
acordo com a Minha vontade" (D. 1731)."Recita, sem cessar, este Terço que
te ensinei. Todo aquele que o recitar alcançará grande misericórdia na
hora da sua morte. Os sacerdotes o recomendarão aos pecadores como a
última tábua de salvação. Ainda que o pecador seja o mais endurecido, se
recitar este Terço uma só vez, alcançará a graça da Minha infinita
misericórdia" (D.687). “Quando os pecadores empedernidos o recitarem,
encherei de paz as suas almas, e a hora da morte deles será feliz. Quando
recitarem esse Terço junto aos agonizantes, Eu Me colocarei entre o Pai e a
alma agonizante não como justo Juiz, mas como Salvador Misericordioso” (D.1541).

First Monday of the month immediately after the 6:00 p.m. daily Mass or by

Baptismal Preparation
A parent preparation class for all children under 7 years of age is held on the
3rd Sunday of the month in the Ministry Building Library from 3:00 p.m. to
4:30 p.m.
Counseling Services
Consulting a qualified, professional therapist to assist in overcoming life’s
problems can be an important decision for you or your family. For
appointments and referrals, please call 404-920-7745 (English and Español)
Counselors meet with parishioners in the Ministry Building. Sliding scale fee

Crisis Pregnancy Center Hotline
Any woman who is pregnant and needs support can contact the Pregnancy Aid

Thursdays after the 6:00 p.m. Mass.
Eucharistic Adoration
Tuesdays from 8:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. during the school year in the Church.
Lost and Found
Located in the Ushers Room. Any unclaimed items will be donated to charity
on the last Thursday of the month.
Marriage Preparation
Contact a parish priest or deacon at least six months in advance of your
planned wedding date for required marriage preparation.
Ministry to the Sick
Priests or lay ministers bring communion to parishioners on weekdays. Lay
ministers visit the home-bound on Sundays.
Nursery
Open during the 8:30 a.m. & 10:00 a.m. Masses on Sundays in Rooms B & C
during the school year. Children age 3 months to 4 years are welcome.
Nocturnal Adoration
On the first Friday of the month, from 9:00 p.m. to Saturday at 7:00 a.m. in the
Adoration Chapel.
