Kirkland, Washington (August 30, 2014) – Brenda Nunes, Keller Williams Kirkland earned the
National Association of REALTORS® Certified International Property Specialist (CIPS) designation.
The CIPS designation is the only international designation recognized by the National Association of
Realtors®.
“This designation broadens my ability to expose listings to buyers across the globe,” said Nunes. “As one
in fourteen homes is an international transaction, having the CIPS designation is important to my clients.”
International transactions are significantly different and more complex than domestic deals. “The CIPS
designation allows me to provide seamless transactions with reduced risk, said Nunes.
CPIS designation means that Nunes has completed significant education and training in:

Currency and exchange rates
Cross-cultural relationships
Regional Market conditions
Investment performance
Tax Issues
Nunes also became a Keller Williams Global Property Specialist as part of this program. A KWGPS
designation supports CIPS education by providing a platform that is a unique value to international buyers
and potential sellers. The KWGPS designation includes training, coaching, technology to enhance
websites, marketing resources and a robust referral network through industry affiliations such as Proxio,
the international MLS and Global referral network that supports multi-lingual marketing in over 20
languages.
