She enjoys reading and playing Pedro. She and Adriana are sisters. Announcements Deepest condolences go to the family of Nina Falk, a victim of a driver under the influence. We would like to thank the following local businesses for their generous contributions to our December opportunity drawing: Costco, Home Depot, Trader Joe’s, Target, Talbot’s, Corner Bakery Cafe, Nordstrom, Lunardi’s, Orchard Garden Supply, Nordstrom, and Lunardi’s. Other items were donated by members Jan Allara, Sarah Quinteros, Hugh Walker, JoAnn Beecher, Carole Taylor, Sue De Vincenzi, Barbara Banks, Marcia Mehl, Rita Spes, Sharon Lysek, and Paula Sciallo, and nonmember Stephanie Halliday. 2 November Theater Outing 62 Newcomers traveled by car, bus and BART to the fantastic, entertaining musical Chicago. A good time was had by all. Kudos to our fun elves who set up and cleaned up for the holiday party on December 7: Gloria & Mike Halliday, Paula Sciallo, Dorothy & Dave Miller, Joan & Dick Larson, Julie Bellefleur, Carole & Michael Taylor and Cookie Cala. An extra special thank you goes to our bartenders Peter Cerri, Bob Cala, and Mike Halliday, to our ticket sales girl, Barbara Cerri, and to Carol McMahon who arranged for the use of the clubhouse and spent her whole day with us. A very special thank you to Gloria Halliday for hostessing the joint executive board and committee chairman brunch at her beautifully decorated home. We have our regular meetings at the Towers so this was a very special treat, with yummy food. Philanthropies 2014 to the Club members for their astounding generosity this last year! The tour is limited to 20 members only, so first come, first-served, no guests. Lunch will be prior to the tour. Carpooling and further pertinent information will be forthcoming. ****Note: there is no heat in the building, so warm attire is suggested. We begin with a quick play stop at Bayshore/Joinville Dog Park, and then continue on the walk. Venue and routes may vary. No reservations necessary.
