After Lisbon, Madrid and Las Vegas, the most famous Brazilian music
festival is back to Cidade do Rock (City of Rock) celebrating 30 years
of its existence.

Rock in Rio 2015
The festival is two weeks long, 7 days of shows. A very
special show was prepared to start the celebration of
the 30 years of the festival. Local bands and artists who
participated in this history were invited for the opening:
Dinho Ouro Preto, Paralamas do Sucesso, Erasmo
Carlos, Samuel Rosa, Jota Quest, Titans, Blitz, Ivete
Sangalo, Frejat and others.
The electronic tent, which has emerged as an alternative
to the predominant rock and pop music, emerged as
one of the most exciting stages. In addition, this year it
brings some of the most famous DJs and producers,
such as Kerri Chandler, Dj Meme, Crookers,
Headhunterz, Tropkillaz, Gui Borato, Carl Craig, Dave
Clarke, Alok, and Felguk and many others.
As in all editions, the festival has a line-up that pleases
all preferences and ages. This year, artists such as
Queen, Metallica, Mötley Crüe, Rod Stewart, Elton John,
Seal, Paralamas do Sucesso, System of a Down, Queens
Of The Stone Age, Cpm 22, Slipknot, Faith No More,
Mastodon, Rihanna, Sam Smith, Lulu Santos, Katy Perry,
A-HA, Black City and others will be on the World Stage.
The structure of the festival remains the same with two
stages (World and Sunset Stages), Rock Street, Street
Dance and an Electronic Tent. Waiver held the 25
containers from different parts of the world, including
USA and Europe.

The Sunset Stage, stage dedicated to partnerships
between artists and special shows will wil be the scene
of a beautiful Tribute to Cassia Eller and partnerships
like Lenin and Projeto Carbono, Baby do Brasil and
Pepeu Gomes, Steve Vai and Camerata Florianópolis,
Sergio Mendes and Carlinhos Brown, Erasmo Carlos and
Ultraje a Rigor and many others.

Cirque Plume

Watoto Choir

Watoto Children's Choir is a group of African children
choirs based in Kampala, Uganda, at Watoto Church
(formerly Kampala Pentecostal Church or KPC). Each is
composed of about twenty-two children from Uganda.
Watoto means "Children" in Swahili language. The choir
is made up of children who have lost one or both
parents to the AIDS epidemic or to war.[1] The choir has
toured Asia, Australia, Brazil, Canada, China, Germany,
Israel, The Netherlands, New Zealand, the United
Kingdom and the United States with a team of Ugandan
adults.
The French Cirque Plume pioneered and are the great
representatives of 'nouveau cirque' (the new circus),
Cirque Plume, since its beginning in 1984, questioned
the boundaries of circus and bet on their own vision,
adding some kind of specific dramaturgy in the arena
and developing entertaining expressions.
They transformed the way of creating show in the
arena. They started pursuing for inspiration in dance,
music and theater. They have included new
technologies in terms of light, sound and video to their
creations. Their artists are not only acrobats, jugglers,
contortionists and clowns, but also actors, dancers and
performers, besides having solid musical training.
After two successful seasons at Alfa Theater (Plic Ploc in
2006 and L’Atélier du Peintre in 2012), The troupe
presents the poetic, funny, physical and very moving
show named Tempus Fugit which refers to time. This is
the 10th show of the troupe celebrating 30 years of the
Cirque Plume. This is their 10th show and celebrates 30
years of Cirque Plume.
Waiver was in charge of the admission of 2 40’
containers. The show will be exhibited at Alfa Theater in
São Paulo from July 30 to August 2.
Their performances are a blend of native African
rhythms, contemporary gospel music and ethnic dance.
They have released several albums including Mambo
Sawa and Beautiful Africa. Their unique ministry also
comprises Watoto Child Care Ministries, three babies’
homes, three primary schools, a high school and a
vocational school.
Waiver imported 1,389kg of equipment for the group
presentations tour, which will stop by many Pentecostal
churches in Brazil and will end at the end of September.

23º RALLY DOS SERTÕES

The 23rd edition of Rally dos Sertões will be held from
August 1 to August 8 and with a 2,917km path from
Goiânia GO to Foz do Iguaçu PR.
July 13, 2015 - Rally dos Sertões is the biggest of its kind
in Brazil and the second in the world, but that does not
intimidate the pilot Flávio Lunardi and Jeam browser
Carlos Maiochi. Although they show their respect. It is
their first time in the cross-country rally and they are in
a countdown to align their truck in the grid and, while
their time does not come, they dedicate to technical and
physical training in order to get good results in the
event.
“There is very little time left before the start. We know that
this is a high technical level race and that we will need to
overcome our physical and psychological limits. So, besides
the mechanical preparation of our Chevrolet S-10, we also
have to prepare our fitness and we need to be ready to
handle all types of pressure during the race", said Lunardi.
They have another 18 days to do it. The 23rd Rally dos
Sertões will start on August 1 in Goiânia-GO. It will be
the 13th time the city hosts the race. From Goiânia, they
will go down to the south of Brazil, to the city of Foz do
Iguaçu-PR, passing by Rio Verde-GO, Itumbiara-GO, São
Simão-GO, Três Lagoas-MS, Euc lides da Cunha Paulista
- SP and Umuarama-PR.
The registration for the event is now closed, and 183
participants will take part in the race. "It will be the a dream
come true, being among so many important names of the
sport, like William Spinelli, Reinaldo Varela, the Baumgart
brothers, among others. We will be in a major school of the
sport and we want to be number one. We will strive to have
high grades in this lesson ", said Maiochi. They (Lunardi and
Maiochi) will represent the FS MotorSport and will dispute
the Production T2 category. The pilot Fabio Simsen and the
navigator Sidinei Broering are on this team as well.
They will concentrate at International Autodrome Goiania
