MESSAGE FROM THE PRESIDENT JUNHO DE 2012 EDIÇÃO Nº 3 Yassin Amuji VFC President When we gathered together with different people around us, we got them distinguished to us through our minds and capabilities. Is a mistake to believe that we are all equal, even on racial orientation we are different, and this means that we may have different minds and physical posture, but when we share the same battle space we become equal as we are subjected to a war of achievement of the team´s goals. But how to achieve this goals if we are all mentally different? It’s quite simple as it seems, as if we enter the battlefield; we forget our differences, what a matter is to win, and know how to win, united by force and objectivity. This is the spirit created around the Vilankulo Football Club. Objectivity, yes this is the reason of our cause of struggle, adversity exists to put us in a continuous struggle, tirelessly seeking the fulfillment of the philosophy and orientation of what we’re doing and why we’re doing it there. It always hover the uncertainty that, will we be able to do it? How the people will react if we fail? Will they understand that we are on a growing process and we commit many mistakes until we solidify? So this is what sets us apart from many others who do the same business as ours. We think and do differently, what a matter is to win as a team and overcome the obstacles and difficulties that life sets us. Nothing is impossible; the impossible only exists in the dictionary, but in practice. We believe that we will achieve our goal with professionalism and reach the desired dream. Remember the limit is where we want going to, but it is only possible if we are united. Our mission and obligation are to capitalize on the credibility the National Football Championship each passing day, so we can all win. When I was younger, I had a habit of easily giving up things I tried to do, using the term “this is impossible,” and my father, every time he heard that from me, he was always saying: “Nothing is impossible, everything can be achieved with work, dedication, desire and effort.” Today I give so much value the times that he instilled into me that way of thinking, now I can really understand that, with God’s will, nothing is impossible. Thank you! Histórico no Vilankulo Futebol Clube…. Sonho R: Jogar fora do País… JUNHO DE 2012 COVER THEME JUNHO DE 2012 EDIÇÃO Nº 3 I ABDICATED A LOT OF THINGS INTENDING TO GROW UP WITH THE CLUB 11 His name is Alexandre Matlhombe, a 24 years old young player and is already a reason of pride for the Vilankulo Football Club, you get to know why during the conversation we had with him. How do you become a soccer Player? A: Although training in junior I started senior, I entered the school at 11:30 pm by the time THERE WAS AN incompatibility of timetable reason why I left the junior level and I passed only to train at senior level. Since my childhood which was equal and common to many children of my time in the neighborhood where I grew up we were all time playing football with friends, at school, but I was very dedicated to football, I left out of school in 7th grade, I gave priority to football. What had been your family´s reaction about the decision to leave school for football? A: My mother was never particularly apologist of the idea of one day becoming a professional footballer, she educated me under the idea that the school should come first in my life and then football, however I always respected that idea and I was going to school instead of going to play football, but football was something I always liked, I stopped going to school, but after a while, in 2006 my mother started to accept it as a natural thing, because I started to gain my own financial independence from of football. What was your journey to get to Vilankulo Football Club? A: In 2006 I entered to the Club of Maxaquene, in 2009 I played for Desportivo of Maputo, in 2010 I changed it by the Liga Mussulumana, and the same year I signed for Vilankulo Football Club. Your History in Vilankulo Football Club .... A: The President of Vilankulo Football Club, Yassin Amuji, was coming following my footsteps for very long, and when I transferred myself to the Liga Mussulumana, it was a drop of water to the President Yassin, motivated by the dreams and ambitions that the club has, he approached me in order to transfer me to the Vilankulo Football Club since then I abdicated a lot of things to grow with the club, as it is still very new team, but promising and fulfilling its dreams and desires, basing myself on the experiences of my elders I accepted the proposal, much more because in the teams where I’ve played I was misused, and also because of the conditions that Vilankulo Football Club provides to its athletes. About beginning of a new life in Vilankulos A: As I said before, I abdicated a lot of things to grow with the team, however I was already aware that playing for Vilankulo Football Club, It would mean to leave everything that was already building in Maputo, when I arrived here people were looking at me in so strange way, and I felt a little lonely for a while, but then they got familiar with my presence ... Bad Moments R: The three finals we had last year (2011), and we could not lose then, because if we did then we would be downgraded of division, thanks to our hard work and technical guidance of our Coach, we could win all matches, once thought to be the three final in Moçambola .. Another bad moment was about the match in Beira against the Ferroviário of Beira this year because we depended on this match in order to score positively. Marital status A: I have a wife and a child, we all live in Vilankulos.... 12 Spare times A: Playing basketball, volleyball, beach soccer and chat with friends... The young pearl of Vilankulo FC, Osvaldo, 17 years old, got his first internationalization playing for our beautiful Mozambique. FIFA EDIÇÃO Nº 3 JUNHO DE 2012 16 The “11 +” - heating to avoid injuries The human body has some natural mechanisms of defense against injuries that we can practice to improve our resistance. For example: to exercise certain muscles stabilizes the joints while training balance makes us less susceptible to falls. Furthermore, certain techniques - such as those that teach the proper way to jump and touch the ground - we avoid injuries in dangerous situations. The “11 + program, a complete heating to prevent injury” combines exercises that improve those natural defenses and provide general protection against injuries. The exercises should be done before every workout and are intended for persons over 14 years. In a scientific study with nearly two thousand young players, the teams that followed the “11 +” at least twice a week had a 30% to 50% less injured athletes than those teams that made the usual heating. The more attention on doing the exercise correctly, the greater is its effect. The coach will oversee how the exercises are performed and correct movements as needed. There are two points of paramount importance for the benefits to be obtained: All exercises of the “11 +” should be executed correctly: the more attention, the greater the effect; The “11 +” must be performed regularly, or at least twice a week. Make the “11 +” your heating program before training! Another new face in the “marlins” is the midfielder Abilio, ex - Desportivo, who says his transfer to Vilankulos has to do with the need to experiment other environments, because, as long as he is a professional player about 10 years now, he only knows and played for the “Alvi-Negros” “I’m well here, as I was well on Desportivo of Maputo. I found a happy team and a competent coach. Depending on me, I will do everything I can to take the Vilankulo to reach its goals as quickly as possible, that means to win the national championship before 2014, as planned, “said Abilio. According to him, during the stage in South Africa he had the opportunity to know his colleagues better, to understand the technical and moral conditions of all the team, hence he concluded that there was no doubt a promising campaign. “I’m not promising the title for this year, but for what I can see of my colleagues, the ambition of the coach, the concern of the Board and the determination of the whole, I think we’ll get very far this year,” said Abilio. Regarding to the participation in the Tournament “The Coach,” Abilio says it will do very useful for the team as it will complete the tactical work initiated in South Africa. “We will not hide anything. We´ll start by now implementing what we´ve learned during the probation, on which we played against good teams, some of which from the Main South African Championship. With a landscape more or less identical in all the islands, this archipelago has everything that you can dream of: crystalline clear waters, white sands and coral reefs. This archipelago seems to be the last place in the world where peace of mind is an underwater animal, weighing, color and shape. Mozambique has 2500 km of coast bathed by the Indian Ocean. The Bazaruto archipelago is roughly 600 km from Maputo, South Beira, right in front of Inhassoro and Vilankulo, consisting of several sandy islands of different sizes, in whose waters can be found to the west, manatees and alligators, and to the East, ca be found tropical fishes, dolphins and sharks. The Bazaruto archipelago includes as important islands, Bazaruto, Benguerua, Santa Carolina, Magaruque and Bangue. Of these, only the first two are inhabited. During the Civil War, the population of the archipelago increased exponentially for obvious reasons: the war that this archipelago faced was just a rumor among fishermen and oystermen. In these islands the most spoken language is “funingaloo” (a regional language, invented by miners from South Africa) that joins Portuguese and English, and the smell of dried fish fills the air which characterize the livelihood of the natives. By the sea, is heard very often the tribal songs with which the fishermen give a rhythm the strokes that break the smooth mirror formed by the ocean, where lives the peace of mind, with weight, color and underwater shape. With 38 miles long and 7 miles wide, Bazaruto is the largest island in the archipelago and in Mozambique. It has about 2000 inhabitants, who live almost exclusively on fishing activity, a hotel and a lighthouse built in 1914. There is also the possibility to observe turtles, dolphins, sharks and whales. The Bazaruto archipelago of nearly 600 km2 of rocks and soft sand, shells and corals, was formed hundreds of thousands of years when the current of Limpopo River deposited sands at its mouth. During low tide the archipelago multiplies itself, appearing several white islands, covered with shells, returning to be swallowed by water six hours later, when the tide rises leaving the islands at a depth of ten meters. When we dive into this sea, we can witness an explosion of complex colorful life. In this archipelago can be found, under water, miles of reef and coral on these ridges, there are huge green wigs, giant anemone with huge globular tentacles, closely policed by clownfish which inhabit them. Among corals also arise in addition to sharks, huge shoals moving from side to another as gigantic color patches. In fact if life has any meaning, should be it. He played for Chingale last season and is one of the promises of Mozambican football. Well, I achieved it, from now on I will seek to implement the lessons I found here, “said Mauro. The young player says that the team he met could be at all a “tough cookie” inside and outside home for any opponent. “I promise to score many goals, I have good colleagues who help me a lot, the atmosphere is great, the board is always close to the team and the coach is a friend of the players. Therefore, I see nothing that might disturb our production, “concluded Mauro. The project was inaugurated by His Excellency President of the Republic of Mozambique, Armando Guebuza, who assured that the additional production will be applied to expand access to electricity in the household, as well as reducing the costs of imported liquid fuels. The South African company Sasol, a pioneer in the production of natural gas in Mozambique, has expanded the capacity of the gas processing center of Temane from 120 million mega joules per year to 183 million megajoules, into an investment that reached 220 million U.S. dollars which its application included the acquisition of new equipment. The expansion project was inaugurated His Excellency President of the Republic of Mozambique, Armando Guebuza,in the district Pande, Inhambane province. According to the Head of State, the additional gas production will mainly increase the domestic supply and facilitate the expansion of the electricity grid. “The expansion of this enterprise allows greater availability of natural gas for local consumption, including for the construction and operation of a grid of natural gas distribution in Maputo and in Marracuene district, and also enabling the construction of electricity grids in Chokwe (province Gaza) and Ressano Garcia,” said the President. Besides these points, Guebuza mentioned the reduction of import in charges of the natural gas, as one of the biggest gains. “This expansion will contribute to the saving of foreign exchange for imports of liquid fuels, and will generate business opportunities for several local businesses, including consulting, construction, security, transport, among others,” He concluded. BP EDIÇÃO Nº 3 26 JUNHO DE 2012 SEJA DIFERENTE ADIRA JÁ O CARTÃO VISA VILANKULO FC DIRIJA-SE AO BALCÃO DO MILLENIUM BIM MAIS PRÓXIMO DE SÍ. VFC EDIÇÃO Nº 3 JUNHO DE 2012 28 We have a team to argue for a title - say the players at the end of the probation in South Africa The probation period of Vilankulo FC in South Africa, which lasted 12 days, contemplating drills twice a day and control matches with some South African teams, came to an end yesterday, and athletes already refer to the first conclusions, relating that they feel able to fight for the title. The “marlins”, which from today are in Maputo, to take part in the “Coach”, Tournament, held in Johannesburg five matches, with a positive balance of two victories, the same number of draws and one defeat, the last curiously had been yesterday, before the Bidvest Wits, four goals answered ( 4-0.) For the players, are already created the conditions to make Vilankulo FC present itself this season with a fierce team and fight for the top places that, because the physical and technical work performed in South Africa, coupled with the class roster, give a warranties for this conclusion. For example, Silverio, one of the new acquisitions of the inhambane´s having played for Liga Mussulumana, says that the Vilankulo FC of this year will be very different from the past, because it is composed of talented players in all sectors, among young people looking up to grow in football and that who are already have much experience in Moçambola, all of them doing everything to consolidate their skills. “We are peaceful. We will not fear anyone, because what plays are not the sweaters, neither the names. We are united, strong and ambitious to bring joy to football fans in Vilanculos and Inhambane province in general, “promises Silverio, who personally is not sorry for having left the national champions to join the” marlins “. According to Silverio, the squad of Vilankulo is not inferior to any other in the country, and then there is no reason to fear anyone. “I am prepared to do my best season ever.” I’m happy here because I also have a good coach, as well as I had in the Liga Mussulumana , besides I have talented colleagues. The preparation we had in South Africa was benefic and I felt that we have the potential to get much further, “he said. Silverio removes any possibility of revenge against the Liga Mussulumana, for having been misused “I do not hold a grudge and I am not angry with anyone. In football, what happened to me is normal and it can happen to anyone. Actually, what I really want as a soccer player is simply playing the ball. I must say that the “coach” Chiquinho was very crucial for me to change from Liga for Vilankulo. In fact, I want to let it clear here that I did not been dismissed form Liga Mussulumana, but I ended my contract and I embraced a new project, “says Silverio, finalizing. 31 VFC EDIÇÃO Nº 3 JUNHO DE 2012 32 VFC school focuses on training echelons The Vilankulo FC is investing on training players from the juniors, youth and children. Yassin Amuji, president of this club, laments the fact that the province of Inhambane doesn’t move lower echelons. To compete in the province, the Vilankulo FC has been organizing a tournaments with some provincial teams in each 3 months. He said with some nostalgia that these young people will be our future champions, there a lot of diamond to lapidate by here in Vilankulos. The team Vilankulo FC, the only one from Inhambane province that plays in Moçambola, is strongly investing in echelons of training in order to feed the main team. There are more than 150 kids that train in Vilankulo. According to the patron of the Marlins, Yassin Amuji, the club does everything possible towards kids combine football with school. “Everyone here goes to school, we do not want anyone who does not go to school. We instill it to them all first, then we give greater support to these young players, we pay all school expenses, for juniors and juveniles we give a subsidy of 500 and 300 meticais respectively. There is no reason for alarm, we all are aware, including the parents. We do not want to divert any of these kids, we have done for them everything, buying books, notebooks, and other school materials.” Amuji insisted that this will be the hotbed of Vilankulo from on: “We want to invest heavily, we do not want to spend money on buying players. There is so much talent here that just needs to be lapidated. If all teams invest strongly in training academies in a few years we would have a more competitive league and a strong national team. The teams from North Africa invest heavily in training areas, hence their teams are very strong, and we always have great difficulties to compete equally with teams from the north side of our continent. Just to give an example here in the province of Inhambane there is no promotion of training ech- VFC JUNHO DE 2012 EDIÇÃO Nº 3 elons, so that we do not get far. To fill up this gap, in each 3 months Vilankulo FC organizes a football tournament. At the end of each tournament, the 4 finalists get for each player a kit of school supplies and each team gets 5 balls to continue with their training work. “ Amuji regrets the fact that the province doesn’t promote any training echelons. “If we do not organize, everything stands still. And I wonder: where will we have players without training in the clubs, we cannot flood the country with foreign players. We have to create our own hotbed, and it is better that we do not delude ourselves. These foreign players are welcome, is an add value, but we need to have our own vivarium; untrained players do not go anywhere, the big players we see in big tournaments in the world are the product of training academies. Our horizon is the conquest of Moçambola in 2014, and we cannot play on the shadow of a banana tree, the titles are always a result of hard work, nothing comes for free. That’s what we have been instilling in these young players that the victories come as result of very professional commitment. That is why on the weekend morning after their workout they watch the summary of the major European leagues. It is based on these videos that our athletes are taught to assimilate various techniques, today football is not static; compared to past times we have been assisting that there is much evolution around it. Even in training methods there is much progress, and we have to follow all these changes if we don’t then we will stuck in time. “ The academy is currently under building way and Yassin said that “we do not want to start from the ceiling, but firstly the field, balls, players, and, later, regarding to the needs, we create the an attached infrastructures.” Victor Mayamba, training coordinator, said he was satisfied with the work developed by him in coordination with Artur Romao for junior, António Uamba for juveniles, Venancio Manhiça for initiates and Joaquim Albano, children. Victor said that the kids are all assimilating the new training methodologies with all the coaches we worked with, all coming from the nation’s capital. For this young coach, these kids have a future, they just need a good accompaniment to succeed. Just to recall that Victor Mayamba worked on training echelons in Ferroviário of Maputo, alongside with the renowned coach Chiquinho Conde, hence the reason for Conde have called him to this new adventure. Antoonio Uamba is the current Junior National Champion and Victor Mayamba had been the Junior National Champion in 2010. Having 2 Junior National Champions coaches, clearly demonstrates that the Vilankulo FC intends to dominate in the near future the Mozambican football. NUTRIFUT JUNHO DE 2012 EDIÇÃO Nº 3 35 Importance of food before training / football games Football leads the ranking of the most watched shows in the first half year of 2012, according to data from Marktest Audimetria / Kantar Media. Talking of preparation for training and games of football, food is always part of the plan? Are you too busy, too often? Learn why it should not neglect the pre-exercise nutrition ... In fact; one of the biggest mistakes made by players, particularly those who are in hurry to go from school or work for a practice, is to train on an empty stomach. Their big excuse is a “lack of time” but often it is, firstly, the lack of responsibility. The same view is shared by Gloria Averbuch and Nancy Clark, in the Chapter 10 of the book Food Guide for Soccer: Tips and Recipes From the Pros, which is focused on the importance of proper nutrition before exercises. Here is a summary from the perspective of the authors: Eating before training / matches helps to prevent low levels of sugar in blood. The carbohydrates present in cereals, crackers, fruit or other food rich in carbohydrates eaten before an effort help preventing dizziness, fatigue, blurred vision and difficulty of making decisions that result in hypoglycemia (reduced sugar levels in the blood) and interfere with optimal performance. • Carbohydrates eaten before exercise “feed” the muscles. The food eaten before any physical effort provides energy to muscles either through carbohydrates that are ingested with the necessary advance (several hours before) to be stored as glycogen or through the car- bohydrates that ingests time prior to the beginning workout / matches, which are digested and converted into simpler molecules (glucose) to be converted directly into energy. When we eat carbohydrates before the effort is to feed not only our muscles but also to help our brain to concentrate. • Eat before any effort “reassures” the stomach. For most footballers, eating a snack prior to workout / match “calms” the stomach and keeps hunger pangs away. However, any athlete must be aware that it cannot be eaten a large portion of lasagna instead of some dry biscuits, just 20m before an exercise! Try to follow up the following guidelines relating to digestion time before intense physical effort: 3-4 hours for a meal “big meal”; 2-3 hours for a lighter meal; 1-2 hours for a liquid or a hit meal; Less than an hour for a small snack, as tolerated. • - The beverages consumed before exercises help to achieve the objectives of hydration and energy intake. By drinking a natural fruit juice or a sports drink before an exercise will be to simultaneously optimize your intake of fluids and carbohydrates. Placed in a very simple language, my message is this: as you put fuel in your car before you make a trip, you should also “fueling” your body before playing football. If you choose the right foods, your pre-exercise meal will help you having the best field performance for longer! E alguns colegas começaram a chamar-me Noiraude, o que me deixou triste. THE WORLD JUNHO DE 2012 EDIÇÃO Nº 3 39 THURAM: “THE MOST POWERFUL RACISM IS THAT AGAINST THE POOR» Lilian Thuram, a former French player, world and Europe champion, is now a social activist against racism. Born in Guadeloupe, and have lived there until the age of nine. He felt the racial question on his arrival in France in 1981? - Yes, when I arrived in Paris there was a cartoon series, with two cows. A black one, very stupid, called Noiraude, and a white one, very intelligent, called Blanchette. And some of my colleagues started calling me Noiraude, which made me feel so sad. So one day I asked to my mother why the black skin was associated with something negative and she answered me that it was the way it is, because people were racist. That was not the best answer to give to a child, and later, gradually I began to realize that racism is a cultural construction. Because of the collective unconscious of most European societies, the history of people of black skin begins in slavery. Is that what determines the negative image? - I ask to you: will a young Portuguese learn in his study program, a black mathematician, a scientist or a philosopher? In general no. And yet, if the question is about an athlete or a musician, the answer is easy. It is necessary to give information about the other areas, as occurs in sports, or music, to make it clear that prejudices are unfounded. Do you see it as big a problem that the black skin symbols are more easily associated with music and sport? - Yes, there is a need to question why there are no in textbooks, refer- ences about those black people who have done extraordinary things in other areas. Limiting black skin symbols to areas such as sport or music is also a behavior influenced by history. Nowadays there is a prejudice in vogue in our society, whereby people with black skin have a higher vocation for sport. But it is a quite recent construction, if we consider that in 1936, when Jesse Owens won Olympic medals, everyone was amazed. The dangerous side of this prejudice in particular is bringing an idea to accompany it: in our Judeo-Christian society, that separates body and soul, the counterpoint of a strong body is often a weaker intelligence. I’m in a good position to comment about it because in my entire life I dealt with the idea that football players are good athletes and less intelligent. This prejudice that blacks are stronger in sport belies the idea that, alongside this, they are less intelligent. And don’t you think that the presence of smaller black symbols in specialized areas such as science or politics has more to do with social status than with skin color? Don’t you think that this is a problem of racism in relation to poverty? - This is the most powerful racism, at all times. Those who are perceived negatively in society are the poor, whatever the color of their skin. But we must not hide racist mechanisms under the cloak of social. It is exactly the same that happen with the position of women. A woman can get an education very rich, get all the diplomas and an enviable professional situation, and still be facing a series of prejudices. But I agree with the idea that, besides the skin color, the most stigmatized people in society are always the poorest. TIPS EDIÇÃO Nº 3 48 JUNHO DE 2012 Fertilization of the grass during the year How to improve the nutrition of your plants in order to develop properly. A fertile soil must be able to provide the plants with the nutrients they need in a balanced way. Where the soil does not have this capability, it is necessary to resort to the use of fertilizers. Fertilizer can be defined as substances that applied to the ground and / or top part of the plant in order to improve their nutrition and their (re) production. The mineral nutrition of a lawn, a process often overlooked, aims two main purposes: • To give strength the lawn and to thicken its development, giving it more resistance to dry conditions and diseases, weeds, mosses and intense trampling. • To keep up the good aspect, color and texture. The disadvantage of fertilization, pointing up the rate of growth turf, which implies the need to cut more frequently. Fertilization is a necessary practice for healthy growth, flowering, fruiting and multiplication of plant by replenishing the soil nutrients that plants need. The fertilizers containing nitrogen (N), phosphorus (P) and potassium (K) are the most suitable. The proportion and type of nutrients in fertilizer are listed on the label and always referred to in the order NPK. For example, 20-05-07 indicates a fertilizer rich in nitrogen. The indication 7-7-7 means that the fertilizer contains equal parts of the three nutrients. Preferably it should be used, a gradual release fertilizer which produces a longer-lasting effect without risk of burning the grass. This new technology is to engage a urea granule with multiple layers of an inorganic polymer according the longevity that is intend- ed for the fertilizer, so that once the capsule into the soil absorbs water from the soil gradually dissolving nitrogen in its interior and starting with a process of soil osmotic that results in continuous and uniform release of the encapsulated nitrogen to the soil. It is very important to keep a strict and uniform distribution, since the application of excess fertilizer may burn and even kill the grass. The periods of spring and fall are of intense vegetative growth of lawns. During this time of year, lawns should be fertilized under mild and rain weather conditions with fertilizers containing high nitrogen, which promotes cell division and thus the formation of all the new parts of the plants and also stimulates rapid growth and a dark green color. It should consider applying a combination product with a herbicide. The weed vegetation control may be more effective if the fight occurs when the lawn and the weeds are in full and vigorous growth. The summer and winter are periods of greater stress vegetative lawns. At this time of the year there is a decline in the growth of grass, having to choose to use a balanced fertilizer, regarding the percentage of nitrogen and potassium. The potassium has a fundamental action to strengthen the roots, since this time of year the plants are under greater stress and hence a lesser vegetative growth, plus it gives more strength to the plant preparing it for the harsh conditions of winter. «Cool people», como lhes chama. CONTINUA...... The man who revolutionized the fashion blogosphere by photographing people on the street with street style. The Sartorialist, how he is known, is the the face behind the faces. We are talking about Scott Schuman. After 15 year of career in the fashion industry, sales and marketing, Scott Schuman decided to leave the showroom where he worked to take care of his daughter. Then he had the idea to get on the camera and go into the streets photographing New Yorkers with street style. “Cool people”, as he calls them. Then came the streets of London, Paris, Milan and so on. And came the first rows, the fashion editorials, the ads. Then came 70,000 visitors a day. And there came an inevitable fate, success. From there everything happened and the cliché (in positive way) that success generates books was confirmed. In 2009, he edited “The Sartorialist”, a compilation of the best photos of the street style in the world, and about three years later, ‘The Sartorialist: Closer. “ ‘Closer’ because he wanted to capture more closely the essence of the people, in his view, the main goal of his photos, much more than shooting style. ‘Closer’ because he feels, finally, closer to the characters who he dreamed load to photograph when he created the blog. Thus, in this work we can find cowboys, nomadic, fashion makers, photographers, painters and bartenders, among many others. In the purpose of the release of the second book, we talked to the author and we asked him what we always wanted to know. How did you get the idea of going to the street photographing people with style? Do you remember the first picture you took? The street style has a long tradition in photography and fashion photography. I just thought that using a digital technology it would be a way to give it a new and modern perspective. I have already said several times that I just don’t photograph people well dressed. But, what you need is to capture their attention? The most important, and sometimes more difficult to achieve, is a certain amount of grace, in the feminine or masculine style. The way someone communicates through a body language can be the most effective in a photograph. TO BE CONTINUE....
