Edmonton and Area
Minimum 3 years direct experience with landscaping and grounds keeping. Foreman experience is an asset.
Applicant must be fluent in English

- Supervising a team of landscapers and groundskeepers
- Providing support and leadership to workers to achieve the project goals and targets
- Responsible for scheduling and ensuring company procedures are followed
- Ensures safety of workers
- Ensures best performance by workers
- Coordinates with managers
- Problem-solving
- Responsible for supplies and materials for projects
- Works together with the team to complete individual tasks of landscaping/grounds keeping projects.
- Supervises and takes part in debris/ice/snow removal projects
- - Other duties as required
$24.50/hour before tax deductions.
This is a full-time job with minimum 40 hours per week
Overtime when operational requirements so demand. Overtime at 1.5 times regular wage rate starts after 44 hours/week.
All workers are eligible for Alberta Health Insurance, which is paid from workers’ taxes so that there are no additional
deductions for the insurance.
10 days per year paid holidays and company benefits: disability, dental, Life Insurance Benefits, RRSP Benefits, Vision Care
Benefits and extended medical insurance after 1 year probation.
Initial work permit for 1-2 years, with the possibility to obtain a permanent offer and apply for permanent residency in Canada.

WORK PERMIT: $155 (Principal Applicant) OPEN WORK PERMIT SPOUSE: $255 STUDY PERMIT: $150 per child
OPTIONAL SERVICES: Open work permit for spouse $787.50 (includes 5% GST); Study permits $525 (includes 5% GST).
Personal Finances for:
Flight to Canada
Rent and damage deposit to the owner of the property where you will live for first month (between $500 – 600 + damage
deposit)
Additional money for food and other necessities such as drug store supplies, entertainment, etc ($200-300)

•Employer issues a job offer to the successful candidates
•Candidate has one week to accept or refuse the job
•Preparation of the work permit application starts (2-3 weeks)
•Depending on the country of origin, we submit the work permit application to a Canadian embassy if from country that requires visa for
Canada, or we plan arrival and application for work permit at the border (first Canadian airport) for those who do not need visa to enter
Canada.
•Work Permit processing at an embassy is different based on the country and ranges from 1 - 2 months
•When work permit is approved for those from visa required countries, arrival is scheduled

possible. We will never put you anywhere where we would not stay
ourselves.)
Health Card Assistance
(We will help you fill out a health card application and give you
instructions how to submit.)
Social Insurance Number
(We will take you to Service Canada building to apply for a Social
Insurance Number SIN. Without SIN the employer will not be able
to pay you)
Bus Schedules
(We will show you how the bus system works. Set up transportation
to work with your employer. Give you advice on how to buy a car.
Bank Account
(We will take you to a bank to open a bank account so that you can
receive your salary)
Newcomer Centre
(Most cities in Canada have centers that provide various services to
newcomers, such as information about doctors, maps, translations,
English lessons, etc.)
Cell Phone
(We will show you how to get a Canadian SIM card and what phone
plans are available)
