Within the county of Almada, Caparica is just 12 km distance away from Lisboa and a 20 minutes smooth drive will get you there from the
airport. When you arrive, you are welcomed with a breathtaking 13 Km of fine sand, clear and clean water beaches, set a friendly village that
will complement all your needs: hotels, restaurants, nightclubs, shops, etc. With local medical assistance, the hospital is only 5 minutes drive
away.
Contest site
Please collect your credential on arrival at the event site. The accreditation will be available in the Tourist Board , right next the contest site.
Free parking is available next to the event site (limited parking spaces)

Type : Beach Break with regular sets .
Water Temperature : Between 15 and 18 degrees Celsius
Wetsuits : we advise the use of a full 3/2 wetsuit, but due to the proximity of summer, some surfers will find it ok for a short suit.

Costa da Caparica is located 15 km from Lisbon.
From the airport, besides taxi you can use the public transportation. Take
the Aerobus shuttle available every 20 min from 07.00 am until 11.20 pm,
directly to Cais do Sodré (end of line). Here, catch the boat to Cacilhas,
and finally the TST bus 135 to Costa da Caparica.
As alternative, you can catch the Aerobus shuttle until Campo Pequeno
or Av. da República and change to the TST 161 bus to Costa da
Caparica (every 30 minutes).
The airport has also a rent-a-car service.
Ø By car
The main access to Costa da Caparica is the highway A2.
From Lisbon, please take the Eixo Norte-Sul road, cross the 25th April Bridge and turn at the first exit
to Caparica and then follow the IC 20 until you reach Costa da Caparica.
From south (A2) please take the exit Caparica and continue through the IC20 until you reach Costa
da Caparica.
