Overview
This 10 Day master class is a hybrid of our Financial
Modelling & Advanced Modelling School. It takes you
through the whole process of modelling from Excel skills

you from scratch.
Overview
This Master class is a combination of our Accounting for Non
Accountants & Intro to Financial Analysis course.
In week 1 you will build various financial forecast models
and learning all modelling best practice methodologies
and loads of Excel tips and tricks for modellers. In week
2 you will use the modelling skills learnt to build
Leveraged Buyouts (LBO) and Merger & Acquisition
(M&A) Models. You will also discover all major deal
considerations for M&A and LBO transactions.
Non Accountants are continually baffled when critical company
issues are discussed simple because they can't speak even a
little accounting or finance! It is essential that everyone
understands the basics of accounting and finance; for example,
you don't have to be an accountant to know why an increase in
debtor days from 20 to 25 could spell working capital doom
for a company. This course will help non accountants
understand basic but critical accounting and finance concepts
thus improving their overall understanding of company
matters.

Training Delivery Phase
•
Pre Training Phase
•
•
•
•
An online proficiency test is conducted for all potential
participants. These tests can be customised per
organisation. We have separate tests for Excel and Anti
Money Laundering Proficiencies;
A needs analysis report detailing each participants
performance and their training deficiencies is presented to
the client;
Participants are allocated to training courses that fit their
proficiency levels; and
Each approved participant sends us their unique training
requests based on actual work experiences for
incorporation into our bespoke courses.

We use a heuristic approach to teaching; course content is
structured in a way that encourages participants build
from there mistakes. The courses try as much as possible

How We Train
Our Training Centre
Our courses are delivered either as Public (Open), In-house or
Training Academy.
Training Venue
1.
Public courses:
Please review our 2012 training calendar (available on our
website) for all public course dates.
We publish our annual calendar in November of each year
for the coming year. These open courses are very
convenient for clients that want the flexibility of sending
smaller contingent of staff to a selection of courses
throughout the year. All courses hold at our training centre
in Lagos or designated venues in other locations.
2.
In-house courses:
These are tailored to your specific needs and mutually
agreed fees, dates and venue. We recommend a minimum
of 10 participants (max of 20) to facilitate an in-house
program.
Clients can select topics from different course to create a
completely unique course tailored to their specific needs.
The courses can also use real life examples from
participants to add another level of customisation/realism
to the training guaranteeing a higher return on investment
for clients.
3.
Training Academy:
You can completely outsource your new recruitment
training program to us from conception to delivery.
With our experience and highly competent faculty, we will
deliver world class training to expose your new recruits to
the potential challenges they will face on their new jobs.
This will make them more efficient and work smartly from
day one saving you a lot of money in the process.

conference centres for our offshore courses and regularly use our
client’s training centres to facilitate in-house courses.
Whatever your preference, we are sure we have a solution that meets
your unique requirements,
Equipment
Training is delivered via a modern projector and a tablet PC and there
are new Laptops for hire if required.
