We at the Mill Courtland Neighbourhood Association hope you had an enjoyable summer. We survived another summer of
road restructuring. Just think, in about ten years our neighbourhoods will be all complete, and should be good for hopefully
another 70 - 100 years.
Thanks to our regular participants who keep coming back to our programs, season after season. For those who have not yet
come out, please check out our facility and our friendly staff will be pleased to answer any questions you might have on any of
the programs listed in our newsletter.
This year our Craft Sale should be bigger and better than ever. With the construction of last year hindering traffic, all is clear
now. Book a table as they go fast. When you drive by the Centre, check out our sign for present and future events. And
remember, we are always grateful when new volunteers come to the Centre and experience the rewards volunteering can
have.
Hope to see you soon,
Ron, Mill-Courtland Neighbourhood Association

Osteo-fitness! Many mature adults find that as years go
by their balance, flexibility, strength and endurance
greatly decrease. This is not good news for many obvious
reasons but also for things such as osteoarthritis,
osteoporosis and simple fall prevention. Resistance
exercises and weight bearing exercises are essential to
building stronger bones. Stretching your muscles and
challenging yourself to keep moving a few times a week is
required for optimal physical health! Come and join us for
