Chairwoman, Joan Palazzo, made the following announcement regarding the
OPEN PUBLIC MEETING ACT
This regular meeting of the ABC Board of the Town of West New York held Thursday,
June 27, 2013 at 7PM at P.S. # 4 School and it is publicly announced and directed that this
announcement be placed in the minutes of this meeting that the notice requirements
provided for in the “Open Public Meetings Act” have been satisfied. Notice of this meeting
was properly given and published in the Jersey Journal and Bergen Record and publicly
posted on the Municipal Bulletin Board, Town Hall, and the Municipal Website and filed
with the Town Clerk. Copies are available to the public in accordance with the Law.

Various correspondence involving the “DGNY/Son Cubano received from the
office of Administrative Law and Judge Barry Moskowitz; this license has not
been renewed for two years. They are on appeal. There we objections filed by
residents of the area on the Waterfront. Judge Moskowitz, will be the one to take
testimony and make a decision and then it will come back before the Board for
final review. The Board Secretary has received correspondence that the next
telephone conference is scheduled for July 22.

Letter was received from Alexander Locatelli Esq. regarding a change in
corporate structure for Sory Liquors. A 12-page application would have to be filed
ant the background of any new principal will have to be investigated by Sgt.
Clement. It is expected that the application will be before the Board in September.

Correspondence regarding DeCache, License #0912-33-028-006, Vito
Sciancalepore, Esq. The license was renewed annually until last term when they
stopped doing business. This was a new restaurant that was located on the other
side of Bergenline Avenue on a little side street.

Correspondence from State of New Jersey regarding Giannone Wines & Liquor,
This letter is from the Attorney General of New Jersey. WNY Police was not
involved in this and the Board did not hear the case. This was done at the State
level and this letter is just notification they the licensee did not contest the charges
but pled “non-vult” and received a penalty.

RESOLUTION APPROVING LIQUOR LICENSE RENEWAL
APPLICATIONS FOR THE 2013-2014 TERM
BE IT RESOLVED by the West New York Board of Alcoholic Beverage Control for the Town
of West New York (WNY ABC) that it hereby ratifies all actions taken regarding the renewal of
the licenses listed below and that said licenses are renewed for the 2013-2014 license term:
WHEREAS, applications for renewal of license in accordance with the
Provisions of law have been received for the below-listed licenses; and
WHEREAS, the said WNY ABC is satisfied that a review of the applications has been made by
the Board Secretary and the Board Attorney and that no remonstrance, protests, objections or
complaints have been filed with the WNY ABC by any person or entity or by the West New
York Police Department regarding renewal of said licenses; and
WHEREAS, the Division of Taxation has issued the required Tax Clearance Certificate for
