Entretanto, o seu ensino nos cursos regulares utilizada. JUSTIFICATIVA A língua inglesa está presente no quotidiano das pessoas, seja em atividades de lazer, estudos ou profissionais. Por isso, não há como negar a sua importância como instrumento de comunicação universal. Entretanto, o seu ensino tem sido precário nos cursos regulares de educação, o que obriga o estudante a procurar cursos especializados. Levando-se em conta a facilidade de aprendizagem da criança e, tendo em vista o seu futuro profissional, é importante que o ensino da língua inglesa comece cedo, pois é nesta faixa etária que a criança aprende mais facilmente a ultrapassar dificuldades e a melhor compreender o idioma. Deve-se considerar que os professores necessitam, cada vez mais, procurar meios diversificados de incentivar o gosto pela aprendizagem. Entre esses meios, pode-se destacar a música, pois ela desempenha um papel importantíssimo no cotidiano das pessoas, incluindo-se aí os alunos. Para o aprendizado de uma língua estrangeira, os exercícios auditivos são indispensáveis, o que pode ser facilitado com a utilização da música em sala de aula. Ela pode se tornar instrumento de aprendizagem da língua inglesa, por se constituir em um excelente trabalho de audição, servindo para treinar a pronúncia e ampliar o vocabulário, facilitar a aprendizagem da gramática e o desenvolvimento da capacidade de leitura, contribuindo para ampliar a visão crítica. E ainda, um ambiente com música é sempre agradável. Ao utilizar músicas com letras em inglês, pode-se facilitar a compreensão desta língua, tornar as aulas mais interessantes, possibilitar o estudo de outra cultura e facilitar a aprendizagem da pronúncia. 5 Todas as pessoas gostam de cantar, nem que seja apenas balbuciando. De acordo com o senso comum, cantar faz bem à alma. Assim, a música pode tornar-se um elemento motivador da aprendizagem da língua inglesa, o que justifica a escolha deste tema. Ao utilizar a música como instrumento de aprendizagem, o professor estará indo ao encontro das próprias Diretrizes, que enfatiza o aprendizado da comunicação oral e escrita. Nesse sentido, o ensino do Inglês deve constituirse num "espaço para que o aluno reconheça e compreenda a diversidade linguística e cultural, de modo que se envolva discursivamente e perceba as possibilidades de construção de significados em relação ao mundo em que vive" (PARANÁ, 2008, p. 53). Em qualquer língua a música está presente na vida dos indivíduos. Portanto, ensinar o Inglês por meio da música, poderá servir para inseri-los "na sociedade como participantes ativos, não limitados as suas comunidades locais, mas capazes de se relacionar com outras comunidades e outros conhecimentos" (PARANÁ, 2008, p. 57). Murphey (2002) acredita que é possível explorar várias habilidades ao mesmo tempo quando se trabalha com atividades musicais no ensino de uma língua. O autor sugere o uso da música em sala de aula para influenciar positivamente outras atividades e descontrair mentalmente o grupo, além de divertir e quebrar a rotina. MATERIAL DIDÁTICO Este material didático contém sugestões de atividades com músicas em inglês e foram elaboradas com os seguintes objetivos: • despertar o interesse dos alunos pelo aprendizado da Língua Inglesa por meio da música; • facilitar o trabalho de professores por meio de material preparado a partir de letras de músicas em inglês; • motivar os alunos a pronunciarem corretamente as palavras em inglês; 6 • ampliar o vocabulário e sua prática; • auxiliar na compreensão de estruturas gramaticais; • estimular o desenvolvimento da leitura, possibilitando a compreensão e atividades de interpretação; • facilitar o processo de socialização do aluno por meio da canção; • levar o aluno a reconhecer a importância do domínio dessa língua na sociedade atual. O material será implementado no segundo semestre do ano letivo de 2011 no Colégio Estadual Agalvira B. Pinto em Araucária, com alunos de 7ª e 8ª séries e servirá também como um apoio para as aulas de professores de Língua Inglesa. PROCEDIMENTOS Os procedimentos para a implementação do material envolvem as seguintes etapas: a) apresentar o projeto para a direção, equipe pedagógica e professores da escola; b) apresentar e explicar o material para os alunos na sala de aula; c) desenvolver atividades com música, visando motivar os alunos e facilitar a aquisição de vocabulário, o uso das estruturas gramaticais e as quatro habilidades: listening (compreensão auditiva), speaking (oralidade), reading (leitura) and writing (escrita); d) trabalhar com letras de músicas com as quais o aluno faça uso de estratégias sociais como questionar, trocar ideias, demonstrar empatia, entendimento cultural e que haja interesse e envolvimento; e) elaborar cartazes com os alunos como um trabalho de complementação das atividades; 7 f) formar grupos para cantar e representar as músicas no final do ano como uma conclusão da implementação. Os recursos pedagógicos utilizados serão CDs, TV multimídia, pen drive, câmera digital, aparelho de som, vídeo player e DVD player. Para cada música e suas atividades serão utilizadas cinco aulas de 50 minutos. O conteúdo das unidades será organizado da seguinte forma: Aula 1 – Atividades Motivacionais -- (Pre-reading): são atividades efetuadas antes da leitura e que têm como objetivo motivar o aluno para a aula. São feitas algumas perguntas às quais os alunos respondem de acordo com seu conhecimento prévio sobre o assunto. Aula 2 – Percepção Oral -- (Listening): são atividades feitas para compreensão auditiva, em que o aluno ouve a música para colocar linhas ou estrofes em ordem, completar lacunas com palavras que foram tiradas da letra, circular, entre duas palavras dadas, aquela que ele ouve. Aula 3 – Compreensão da Leitura – (Reading Comprehension): são atividades voltadas para a compreensão do texto da letra da música para entender as ideias e intenção do autor. Oportuniza o aluno a aumentar sua competência linguística e desenvolver as estratégias de leitura. Aula 4 – Gramática e Vocabulário – (Grammar – Vocabulary): são atividades elaboradas para ajudar o aluno a fixar melhor as estruturas gramaticais e ampliar seu vocabulário. Aula 5 -- Problematização e Expansão – (Post Reading): é a etapa que vai além da interpretação e o conteúdo pode ser relacionado com experiências dos alunos. Podem ser sugeridas mais atividades além daquelas propostas para a compreensão do texto. A avaliação será feita pela verificação da realização das atividades propostas, observando o desempenho, interesse e participação dos alunos nas aulas. 8 ORIENTAÇÕES AOS PROFESSORES PARA O USO DO MATERIAL DIDÁTICO Professor: • explique aos alunos que a aula será com música; • apresente as Atividades Motivacionais para prepará-los para o assunto; • apresente o clipe da música; • entregue a folha para os alunos fazerem a atividade de Listening e toque a música até três vezes se for preciso; • corrija a atividade no quadro; • em seguida entregue a letra completa para os alunos; • faça a leitura da letra, peça para repetirem e cante a música com eles; • depois, passe para as atividades escritas que são: Compreensão do Texto, Gramática / Vocabulário e Problematização - Expansão. Explique as atividades, dê um tempo para os alunos resolverem e depois corrija com eles no quadro ou oralmente. Bom trabalho!
