 Fernando de Noronha: apart from the environmental preservation tax of BRL 48,20 per day (around
USD 24,-), foreign visitors to Fernando de Noronha now also have to pay the new Econoronha tax (BRL
165,- for a stay of maximum 10 days) in order to have access to the island's main beaches. We
recommend purchasing the Econoronha tax in advance if your client intend to do the Atalaia trail since
there is a limit of 100 people per day on this beach. These taxes are not included in the
hotels/excursions price.
 Foz do Iguaçu: Due to high water volumes in the Iguaçu River earlier this year, the foot bridge to the
Devil’s Throat on the Argentinean side of the Park was damaged and consequently deactivated. Repairs
are expected to be complete by January 2015. We recommend, until repairs have been completed, to
book the half-day tour to the Argentinean side, which includes both the upper- and lower circuit.
 Many lodges will be closed during Chrismas and New Year’s holidays, especially in the Pantanal. Please
check our notes in the rate section.
