CONCERTS L - A CURATED COLLECTION
OF 20 UNIQUE CONCERTS
SUMMER SEASON 2012
Summer brings us excellent opportunities to enjoy the mild
weather and the possibility of combining it with good music at
the Estalagem da Ponta do Sol.
Held until the month of October this Hotel will be hosting
a series of fusion concerts with Portuguese and international
music, along with the traditional sounds of music: rock, jazz or
other alternative rhythms. Noteworthy is the fact that over the
years, this hotel has affirmed itself as a space of cultural quality
outside the city of Funchal.
The series of “Concerts L - A curated collection of 20 unique
concerts” took off in the month of June and as the name suggests,
it will be a series of twenty concerts held on Fridays or Saturdays,
bringing to Madeira names, more or less known, of the music
industry, aiming to promote a meeting of cultures, different
musical styles in a design environment, where architecture
boosts and largely influences the success of this Summer Season
2012 series of concerts.

which starts with the research on the
Wool Cycle to produce a universe where
sheep bleat lyrical songs and popular marches of the crazy years,
and a bitten wolf is tortured with loudness resonances, while
Cegueta (short-sighted man) and Zarolho (squint-eyed or oneeyed man) observe. Among a Special-sheep-that-just-walkedin-two-legs, a Man-that-smiles-with-open-scissors, and the
