Identifying alternative sources of water for irrigation of Green Point
Common, and implementing most feasible option:

the most cost-effective way to reduce the use of potable water for the irrigation of the
Common.

Green Point Park adjacent to Green Point Stadium is a brand new
public park and a legacy project of the 2010 FIFA World Cup™. The
park was developed according to ecological principles, with energy
and water efficiency, multipurpose spaces and indigenous
landscaping incorporated into the design.
