Técnico
Os materiais biopsiados nas clínicas da FOAR-UNESP foram
entregues no Departamento de Fisiologia e Patologia,
laboratório de Patologia, mantidos em formol a 10%
adicionados da descrição clínica da lesão (informações
radiográficas, clínicas ou outras informações relevantes),
utilizando ficha de diagnóstico histopatológico padrão.
LAUDOS EM 2012: Em 2012 foram estabelecidos 281
diagnósticos histopatológicos, os quais continham
diagnósticos macroscópicos e diagnósticos descrivos em
igual monta. A distribuição dos diagnósticos estabelecidos
chama a atenção para o número de casos de neoplasias
malignas (17: 6%) e benignas (20: 7%). TRABALHOS

- Avaliação geral:
O trabalho de extensão constituiu propriamente de avaliações
histopatológicas de biópsias e/ou peças cirúrgicas que
chegaram no laboratório de patologia. Como consequência, os
diagnósticos concluídos ofereceram oportunidades de rever
marcos conceituais e avaliar instrumentos operacionais dos
mecanismos de doenças que acometem principalmente a boca.
Tal fato refletiu o que a dinâmica patológica significa para os
objetivos do ensino e da pesquisa na área do conhecimento.
Portanto as metas do projeto foram plenamente alcançadas
tanto no âmbito intra muro quanto no extra muro.
Articulação entre ensino e pesquisa:
A articulação entre ensino e pesquisa constituiu um
marco importante do processo de avaliação dos exames
histopatológicos propriamente dito. Vários foram os projetos
articulados que futuramente serão desenvolvidos. Por outro
lado, enriqueceu sobremaneira as aulas tanto teóricas quanto
práticas de patologia geral e bucal.
Demandas Sociais:
Como citado anteriormente, o serviço de histopatologia
constituiu parte do processo de exame e reavaliação do que
conhecemos assim como as teorias emanadas da literatura
pertinente da patologia pelas quais prestamos assistência aos
pacientes que apresentavam lesões bucais. É uma contribuição
importante para a tarefa contínua de entender os processos
patológicos e consequentemente tratar as lesões.

Bolsistas BAAE II: Helena Bonadio de Carvalho e Isadora
Martinelli Gonçalves Goberna Fernandez. As acadêmicas
tiveram participação ativa nas atividades de extensão em
diagnóstico histopatológico da Disciplina de Patologia do
Departamento de Fisiologia e Patologia (FOAr-UNESP),
realizando duas visitas semanais às clínicas de Cirurgia,
Diagnóstico Bucal, Periodontia, Endodontia, Próteses e
Pediatria onde foram coletados frascos de biópsias e fichas
de encaminhamento, realizadas no período, retornando, ao
final da semana, os laudos às respectivas clinicas.
Freqüência às reuniões semanais onde foram discutidos os
principais diagnóstico histopatológicos do período.
Participação das atividades práticas realizadas no
laboratório de histopatologia, apreendendo a incluir, cortar
e corar lâminas em Hematoxilina e Eosina.
