Do Alentejo para o mundo, a obra de António Zambujo foi elogiada nos quatro
cantos do globo, louvada, por exemplo, no Brasil (com apoiantes tão ilustres
quanto Caetano Veloso ou Jô Soares) ou nos Estados Unidos (onde contou com
rasgados aplausos do incontornável The New York Times).
‘Quinto’ is the fadista’s first recording venture, which went straight to 2nd place on
the national chart, after topping on iTunes. From the Alentejo to the world, António
Zambujo’s work was praised in the four corners of the globe, for example in Brazil (with
renown supporters such as Caetano Veloso or Jô Soares) and in the United States (where
he received a roaring review by The New York Times).

cool jazz tocado à guitarra. Conhecido por interpretar baladas clássicas,
Pizzarelli tem nas suas influências nomes como Nat King Cole ou Frank
Sinatra. Considerado um dos revivalistas do Great American Songbook, o
músico americano tem mais de 40 álbuns editados, sendo o mais recente,
“Double Exposure”, de 2012.

A editora Abysmo lançou o desafio a 40 ilustradores – de José Brandão a
Henrique Cayatte, de Catarina Valadas a Gémeo Luís, de João Maio Pinto a
Pedro Nora, de Pedro Proença a Teresa Lima, de João Fazenda a André Carrilho,
enfim várias gerações, diversas origens e todos os estilos – para iluminarem
algumas melodias de Sérgio Godinho que marcaram os nossos dias. O resultado
foi um álbum, declinado em exposição com impressões fine art das diferentes
interpretações.
The publishing house Abysmo challenged 40 illustrators – José Brandão, Henrique
Cayatte, Catarina Valadas, Gémeo Luís, João Maio Pinto, Pedro Nora, Pedro Proença,
Teresa Lima, João Fazenda, André Carrilho, and others from various generations,
backgrounds and styles – to complement some of the most memorable songs by Sérgio
Godinho. This resulted in an album and an exhibition with fine art prints of the various
interpretations.

Rom dance is an artistic expression that represents the liveliness
and free spirit of the Romani People. This dance gathers cultural
elements from countries such as Egypt, Greece, Turkey, Romania
and Hungary. Ciganski-Kiucher presents a show of Romani
dances from the Balkans and Central Europe.
