Our events are intended to be
intercultural and multicultural and this
is certainly the case with our Spring
and Winter Fairs where people from
São Bras and surrounding parishes
come together to share their
traditions and skills.
Come along and make it a family day
in the leafy gardens of our beautiful
museum.
There will be plenty of things to see
and for sale ranging from flowers,
plants, decorations, cards, books
and gifts made of recycled materials
to bread and home made cakes,
special teas, jams, and spices,
chocolates, sweets and much,
much more including some exclusive
fashion and jewellery designs.

João Melro – Drums / Percussion
Genoveva Faisca started her career in theatre. She had voice
training with Maria João Serrão but eventually thought the
flute was the instrument that could transmit her musical
thoughts.
She participated in various musical projects such as in
the chorus of “Sonoro de Lisboa” (salsa) Lindu Mona e os
Bangalas do Kassange (African/fusion, percussion and flute),
Issabary (Guiné) and with Né Ladeiras, Amélia Muge, José
Mario Branco, as well as a soloist with Orquestra Lisboa
Latina, Three of a Kind (with Leandro Tuche and Eddie
Goltz), Companhia Bengala, gWev@jazz, Songbook.
She then returned to her country of birth where she
discovered fantastic musicians with whom she worked on
the jazz scene.
