Órgãos do turfe australiano fundem-se com a criação da Racing Austrália.
O turfe australiano voltou a entrar em evidência, nos noticiários especializados, na
última semana. Na capital Sydney, foi oficializada a criação da Racing Australia, entidade
que agora reúne, sob uma única direção, os dados e atividades da Australia Racing Board
(ARB), Racing Information Services Australia (RISA) e Australian Stud Book (ASB).
O objetivo primordial da iniciativa seria a expectativa de facilitar o acesso aos serviços
e bancos de dados, anteriormente fornecidos separadamenre pelas três citadas entidades.
Além disso, a reunião das instituições deverá resultar numa economia significativa nos
custos de funcionamento, bem como reduzir os custos dos serviços a serem prestados,
agora singularmente, pela Racing Australia.
Tendo como acionistas as entidades hípicas representantes dos oito estados e territórios
do país, a Racing Australia teve eleito como seu primeiro presidente John Messara. "A
composição da Racing Australia promete resultar num período animador para a indústria. Há
uma necessidade em se otimizar a utilização dos recursos, e ativos, das três entidades, em
prol dos participantes desta indústria. A integração dos bancos de dados irá potencializar,
significativamente, a integridade, e a transparência da atividade, e uma série de iniciativas
serão anunciadas nos próximos meses", explicou Messara.
