immunodeficiency diseases and rarely
occurs in woman. We present a case

chemoradiation.
CASE REPORT
A female patient, 18, referred to
the pelvic surgery service of our hospital,
with large warty lesions, vegetating,
affecting vulva extending to the lower
third of the vagina and perineum. No
history of sexually transmitted diseases
(STDs) and seronegative for HIV, reported
four months evolution, unresponsive to
topical treatment with trichloroacetic acid
solution and cryotherapy. She complained
of unpleasant odor, local pain and
ocasionally bleeding.
Physical examination showed bilateral
inguinal lymph node, vaginal and rectal
examination were not tolerated because
of the local pain. Biopsy held that, under
the microscope revealed the diagnosis of
condyloma acuminata.
After multidisciplinary discussion,
treatment was initiated with radiation
(45Gy) associated with platinum-based
chemotherapy (cisplatin). It showed
excellent response, with complete
remission of the lesion.
